The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt tries to clinch but Robson is having none of it.
Robson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunt as he avoids it easily.
Robson misses with a takedown attempt - Hunt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Robson has closed the distance and engaged Hunt in a clinch.
Robson tries to break the clinch but Hunt is controlling the position.
Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Robson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Robson has Hunt pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Robson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hunt tumbling to the mat - Robson dives into Hunt's guard.
Robson postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
Robson wants to stand but Hunt is controlling his posture from full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hunt is on top in guard.

Thunder closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Thunder lands in his opponent's guard.

Guyton looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Guyton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thunder doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Thunder manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Thunder wants to control from the top but Guyton keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guyton is on top in guard.

Thunder has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Guyton doesn't defend quickly enough and Thunder has managed to lock this one up! Can Guyton escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Thunder on a fantastic submission victory.

Farlander tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steel swivels and escapes.
Farlander tries to close the distance and clinch but Steel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Maklveen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Maklveen is pushing down on Gilbert's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gilbert is fighting to maintain full guard but Maklveen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Still in half guard, Maklveen seems content to control.

Gilbert is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Maklveen pulls his head out easily.

ahr looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
ahr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Connor is fending him off so far but ahr persists. Nope, Connor circles away and we're back to standing.

Connor bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Connor tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Connor passes to full mount! That's big trouble for ahr!

Connor wants to finish this one by submission but ahr is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Connor.
Connor is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. ahr can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Connor has hold of ahr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and ahr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Connor has control of ahr's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and ahr regains control of the situation pretty easily.
