Reese is looking to improve his position but Fadden isn't that keen on the idea.

Fadden is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fadden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reese keeps working.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fadden seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reese does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakala shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diabolis pinned against the cage. Diabolis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Kakala has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kakala is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Diabolis pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Diabolis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kakala shoots in and drives through. Diabolis sprawls well.
