Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank White!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Davis!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.
White shoots for a takedown but Davis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davis as he avoids it easily.
White shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
White really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Davis swinging wilding here.
White is looking to score with low kicks.
Davis closes this distance looking for a takedown but White circles away.
White doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
White shoots in but no luck this time.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Davis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
White is wriggling around trying to escape.
Davis landing strikes from the mount and White is in trouble!
White is working to get back to half guard.
Davis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Davis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
White working to try and regain half guard.
Davis lands a heavy elbow.

White is rocked!

A nice elbow there by Davis.
Oh White is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
White wants to control but Davis is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
White takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Davis's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
