Undercard bout

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nelson Walker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Walker!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker throws a head kick but Lee moves out of range.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.
Nelson Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Crimson Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Walker.
Lee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Walker slips a jab and a cross from Lee.

Lee rushes Walker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Walker wants a takedown.
Walker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lee.
Walker looks gassed!
Walker tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Walker drops back down to his feet.
Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Walker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Walker. That did some damage!
A punch combination from Lee misses.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Walker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lee tries to stand but Walker is controlling from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Walker is trying to improve his position.
Lee trying to control the action but Walker is working from the bottom.

Walker on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Walker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lee tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Lee tries to stand but Walker is controlling his head.

Walker manages to get back to half guard.
Lee wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Walker uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Walker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Walker tries to stall but Lee uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walker avoids the head kick by Lee.
Walker misses with a takedown

and Lee counters with a takedown into side control.
Lee wants to stand but Walker is controlling his arm.
Lee landing strikes.
Lee in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Walker taking a bit of punishment here - Lee scoring with strikes.

Walker is rocked!
Lee working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Walker is still in real trouble! Can Lee finish him?
Lee lands a strong strike to the head of Walker. That's dazed him! Lee looking to finish here. Walker is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Lee lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Hult misses the shot to the body.
Stanley uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hult.
Hult will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hult throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stanley slips a straight right by Hult.
Stanley dodges the punch combination from Hult.
Hult throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Stanley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hult sprawls well initially but Stanley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hult pushes Stanley off looking to stand but Stanley dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stanley decides to stand up.
Stanley scores with a kick to the body.
Hult misses with a straight right.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Hult!
Hult misses with a head kick.
Hult throws a leg kick but Stanley sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Stanley keeps Hult at a distance using the push kick.
Hult looks gassed!
Stanley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hult misses with a hook. Stanley ducked under it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stanley circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Hult drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Stanley follows Hult to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

White closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rivero tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but White wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
An elbow from White crashes against the mat.
Rivero takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Rivero is looking for a sweep.
Rivero avoids any damage from the ground and pound of White.
White lands an elbow.

Rivero is rocked!
Rivero is looking for a sweep.
Oh Rivero is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
White scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Rivero is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and White can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
