Nice sprawl there from Machida as Burns shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Machida which made him look bad.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swiftwater forces Boyeslav back against the cage and clinches.

Swiftwater gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Boyeslav regains guard.

Swiftwater drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Swiftwater jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Swiftwater jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Boyeslav is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Boyeslav and Swiftwater has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boyeslav manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Swiftwater seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boyeslav does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Savas stands and steps away. Pogi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
