Branson moves in looking to clinch but Misura pushes him off.
Misura scores with a crisp jab that stopped Branson in his tracks.
Branson shoots in but Misura avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Misura throws a one two combo.
Branson wants to clinch.
Misura scores with a nice right hand.
Branson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Branson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Misura throws a series of punches but Branson moves out of range.
Branson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Misura scores with a sloppy right hand. Branson should have avoided that one.
Branson walks straight into a right hand from Misura - that's dropped him! Misura jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Branson from any more punishment! Branson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Tamaka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Myles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tamaka but Tamaka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tamaka throws a sloppy head kick and Myles moves out of range easily.
Myles throws out a loose jab but Tamaka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tamaka ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Myles misses with an uppercut. Tamaka saw that one coming.
Myles swings for the body but Tamaka moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tamaka. That's going to slow Myles down.
Tamaka throws a head kick that misses.
Tamaka connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Myles's hands.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Tamaka! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tsuyoshi Akutagawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Hatayama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akutagawa's entrance music is Heroes Comeback. A fine choice. Hatayama is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Polyrhythm. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hatayama keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hatayama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Akutagawa.

Akutagawa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Akutagawa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hatayama is just riding it out for now. Akutagawa eventually gives up the hold.
Akutagawa is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hatayama has his foot on Akutagawa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Akutagawa works his way back into a safe position though.

Akutagawa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Akutagawa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Akutagawa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hatayama is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hatayama has escaped and now he's on top!

Hatayama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Iwao has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hioko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Iwao has tightened it up now! Hioko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Bobson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lokote looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bobson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lokote wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
