The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matos throws a right hand that Chuteboxe ducks under and follows up with a left that Chuteboxe also avoids with ease.
Matos wants to clinch up but Chuteboxe keeps it at a distance.

Matos clinches up against the cage.
Matos has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Matos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Chuteboxe smiles and moves away.

Matos moves into the clinch.
Matos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Chuteboxe is working for takedown but Matos is calmly controlling the position for now.

Matos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Matos shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chuteboxe eats them both and turns towards Matos to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Cacareco Chuteboxe has been cut.
Matos tries to clinch there but Chuteboxe circles away.

Chuteboxe is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Matos is forced to tap! Great finish!

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Clovis Alfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kirby Jay struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jay looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
