Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Farrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Bomber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cliton bounces back off the ropes towards Burns Jr, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Burns Jr lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Burns Jr celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boondocks cracks Burns with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Boondocks throws a lazy right hand but Burns sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Burns fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Boondocks counters with a series of strikes. Burns will be more careful next time no doubt.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Pitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pitch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superfreak. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mitch Pitch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Williams!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pitch shoots in and bounces Williams off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Pitch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Pitch could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Williams gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pitch trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pitch!
Pitch tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Williams is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pitch can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Williams looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Williams misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Williams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Williams is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pitch has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pitch manages to get to full guard.

Pitch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Williams works over Pitch with some ground and pound from guard.
Pitch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pitch is looking for a triangle but Williams pushes his legs off easily.
Williams wants to pass the guard but Pitch is keeping the position.
Pitch tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pitch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pitch thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Williams manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pitch's best efforts.
Pitch moves into full mount! Williams won't be happy about that!

Pitch jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Williams manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Pitch working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Williams tries to buck Pitch off but Pitch is having none of it.
Pitch scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Williams to see if he's OK.

Pitch is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Williams is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pitch's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pitch's back!
Pitch turns into Williams and is now in his guard.

Pitch pushes down on Williams's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Pitch is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Williams is staying active underneath Pitch, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pitch is looking to advance position but Williams won't allow it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Pitch connects with a nice short shot to Williams's temple.
Pitch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Williams keeps working.

Pitch is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Pitch eventually gives up the hold.
Williams tries to get to full guard but Pitch has control of the leg.
Pitch looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Pitch has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Williams to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pitch is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Williams pulls down on the head and he's put Pitch to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dean Williams!
