The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenny fails with a takedown attempt.

D tries to sprawl but Mckenny drives through with a takedown into half guard.
D is trying to control but can't.
D controlling the position well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
D moves into full guard.
Mckenny is looking to stand up but D won't let him.

D not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mckenny pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. D is keeping the position for now.
D wants to sweep here but Mckenny controlling him for the moment.

Mckenny looking to sit in guard and control but D gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
D stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mckenny swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
D postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
D throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mckenny works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

D stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mckenny throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around D's waist but D gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mckenny off to one side.
D tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mckenny shoots in but no luck this time.
Evan D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Mckenny.
D throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Richard Mckenny has been cut.
Mckenny looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

D tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
D pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mckenny fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but D avoids it really well and circles away.
D throws a sloppy head kick and Mckenny moves out of range easily.
D is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Mckenny like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Mckenny from another fist facial!

Keletso walks into a jab.
A punch combination from Keletso misses.
Pineda misses with a straight left.
Keletso tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pineda swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Keletso throws a low kick but it's checked well by Pineda.
Keletso shoots in looking for a takedown. Pineda tries to sprawl out of it but Keletso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pineda manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pineda staying out of range there.
Pineda lands a nice hook to Keletso's body. Keletso takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Pineda looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Keletso with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Keletso is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pineda scores with a couple of nice shots.

Keletso seems a little lost for a moment, as Pineda dominates the positioning.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jane - the referee stops the clock and Tan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jane. Tan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Tan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Jane has got the better of the exchanges.
