The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Scott or perhaps it was just good defense by Wright which made him look bad.
Wright misses with a hook. Scott ducked under it nicely.
Scott slips a jab from Wright.
Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Wright sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wright throws a shot from downtown. Scott moves away and avoids it.
Scott fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bon Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wright displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott.

Wright feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scott sprawling to the canvas! Scott rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wright finish him?!

It looks like Bon Scott has been cut.
Wright fakes the body blow, causing Scott to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Scott goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Hawk is looking to clinch but Tao is avoiding it.
Tao thuds his shin into the meat of Hawk's side.
Hawk throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tao connects with the punch.
Hawk tries to bum rush Tao with a series of wild strikes but Tao uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hawk misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tao takes a kick to the side of the head.
Hawk shoots for a takedown but Tao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Tao digs a good hook to Hawk's body.
