Meis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is marvelous time. 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Schnitzer Schnitz! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Meis shoots in for a double leg but Schnitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Schnitz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Meis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Schnitz has managed to clinch.
Schnitz wants to get back to striking at distance but Meis won't allow it.
Meis breaks the clinch.
Schnitz swings and misses with a shot to the body and Meis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Schnitz won't be happy with that. Meis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Schnitz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schnitz managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Meis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schnitz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Meis asserts his dominance and retains side control. Meis wants to control but Schnitz is keeping him busy. Schnitz is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Schnitz bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Schnitz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Meis. Marvin Meis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Meis gets tackled into the cage by Schnitz. Schnitz maintains the clinch. Schnitz tries to circle away but Meis has him pinned against the cage. Schnitz wants to break the clinch but can't.

and Meis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Schnitz's guard now. Meis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Schnitz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Schnitz scrambles and gets back to his feet.
No joy there for Schnitz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schnitz tries to clinch and Meis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Schnitz! Schnitz is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Meis throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Meis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Schnitz looks a forlorn figure.

Marvin Meis dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Schnitz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Meis closes the distance looking to clinch and Schnitz counters by clinching up. Schnitz gets underhooks to prevent Meis's takedown attempt.
Meis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schnitz walks away with a smile on his face. Meis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marvin Meis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Meis misses with a takedown attempt enabling Schnitz to counter with a crisp jab. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Meis has Schnitz pressed against the cage, preventing Schnitz from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Meis prevents Schnitz from breaking the clinch. Schnitz is trying to break free. Meis jumps guard but Schnitz stands there with Meis around his waist. Meis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Meis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schnitz walks away with a smile on his face. Meis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Schnitz wants to clinch but Meis slips to the side and Meis counters with a shoot takedown. Schnitz fights it but they end up in guard. Schnitz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Meis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Schnitz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Meis has Schnitz in his guard. Schnitz stands up and waves to Meis to follow him.
And that's the end of the fight! Schnitzer Schnitz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Schnitz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

DiBiase delivers a nice body kick. Vasiljev tries to clinch up. Vasiljev doesn't manage to clinch there - DiBiase circles away.

It connects perfectly with Vasiljev's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iridium fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tanner looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Iridium looks to land a combination but Tanner avoids it well. Iridium smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tanner shoots in looking for a takedown but Iridium manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tanner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Iridium jabs at Tanner's body. Iridium gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Iridium will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Iridium wants to stand and escape but Tanner is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tanner with a flurry of punches that miss. Tanner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tanner looks gassed! Iridium kicks Tanner off and gets to his feet. Iridium defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tanner. Iridium lands a slapping body shot.
Iridium closes the distance and lands a one-two. Tanner takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Iridium jabs Tanner right on the nose. Tanner blinks but takes it well.
Tanner is rocked! Iridium fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tanner is still on wobbly legs! Can Iridium finish him? Iridium lands with a right and another and another! Tanner is in big trouble! Iridium lands again and this time it's lights out for Tanner! A quality knockout there for Iridium.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ku has a takedown stuffed. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ku is defended easily by Henry. Mike Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ku tries for a takedown but Henry sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sasha Ku. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henry lands with a good body shot. Ku closes this distance looking for a takedown but Henry circles away. Ku shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Henry napping and manages to drive through into side control! Henry regains half guard. Henry tries to get to full guard but Ku has control of the leg. Henry pushes Ku off and gets back to his feet. Henry shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Henry is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ku has managed to free his arm - good work. Henry working over Ku with some ground and pound. Ku looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Henry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ku looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ku taking some punishment here, with Henry in his half guard. Henry landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ku is looking for a sweep. Henry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ku is breathing heavily. Ku trying to control from the bottom.
Henry lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Henry drops an elbow to the side of Ku's head. Henry looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ku with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ku is rocked! Henry winds up and cracks Ku with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Oh Ku is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Henry is controlling the pace.
Henry scores with a big shot! Ku's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ku! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pencil throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Pencil stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pencil wants it to stay on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pencil. Pencil thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pencil sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fluor is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Pencil is putting a hurting on Fluor here, landing some big shots from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fluor is trying to get back to half guard. Fluor dodges the ground and pound from Pencil. Fluor is looking for a sweep. Pencil working away. Fluor is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pencil tries to move to mount but Fluor blocks the move with his legs.

Pencil working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Fluor takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Fluor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Pencil seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fluor is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grierson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pacyou swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pacyou fails with a takedown attempt. Pacyou decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pacyou wants to stand up but Grierson is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grierson moves into full guard.
Pacyou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grierson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Grierson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Grierson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! No luck with that takedown attempt from Pacyou.

Grierson tries to sprawl but Pacyou drives through with a takedown into half guard. Grierson is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Grierson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Pacyou looks gassed! Pacyou throws a big right hand that misses. Pacyou wants to control from the top but Grierson keeps moving. Pacyou sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Grierson doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Pacyou paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Grierson - great work!

Tion tries to clinch but Groove is having none of it. Tion avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Groove misses. Nice defenses there by Groove. Groove really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tion tries to close the distance and clinch but Groove swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tion dips to his left and cracks Groove with an uppercut! Tion misses with an uppercut. Groove saw that one coming. Dis Tion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tion fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Groove counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tion ducks under a wild hook from Groove. A shot to the body from Groove misses and Tion makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tion throws a hook but Groove blocks it. A big right from Groove misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tion swinging wildly here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Groove avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dis Tion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tion fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Groove manages to avoid it. Tion tries to work over Groove's front leg with a kick but Groove checks it. Tion fails in his attempt to clinch. Tion swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! Kendall Groove showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tion has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ferrall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guy to the mat! Guy manages to get full guard. Ferrall wants to control from the top but Guy keeps moving. Guy controls Ferrall momentarily but Ferrall frees himself. Ferrall with a flurry of punches that miss. Guy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ferrall gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ferrall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Guy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Guy is trying to control the position but Ferrall postures up. Ferrall wants to pass the guard but Guy is keeping the position. Ferrall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Scott Ferrall has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ferrall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ferrall postures up in Guy's guard and throws a big left but Guy blocks it. Guy wants to sweep here but Ferrall controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Guy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ferrall. Ferrall throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ferrall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ferrall has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Guy keeping moving, preventing Ferrall from controlling successfully. Ferrall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ferrall trying to control the position from guard on top but Guy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Guy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Guy avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Guy trying to keep a closed guard but Ferrall is proving a slippery customer.
Scott Ferrall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mr Guy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ferrall drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ferrall as he cranks on the unfortunate limb!
