The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kilgore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chou was covering up waiting for the punch and Kilgore finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kilgore postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chou is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kilgore, into his guard.
Chou throws and elbow that misses. Kilgore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chou's guard. Nice move by Kilgore!
Chou wants to stand and escape but Kilgore is having none of it.
Kilgore wants to control from the top but Chou keeps moving.

Kilgore is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Chou has managed to free his arm - good work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kilgore tries to advance to mount but Chou denies him.
Chou is not content to let Kilgore control the position.
Kilgore passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Chou!
Chou is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Kilgore is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chou has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Kilgore jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Chou is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Chou and Kilgore has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kilgore is working to tighten is grip on Chou's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Chou has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kilgore is really squeezing tight and eventually Chou passes out! Kilgore breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kline shoots in for a double leg but Mancho sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Kline buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mancho on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Kline tries to score with some ground and pound. Mancho controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Kline creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mancho sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kline working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mancho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kline. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
