The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar dives in and grabs Martinez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Martinez pushes down on Lesnar's head and hops out.
Lesnar tries to clinch up but Martinez circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Martinez which made him look bad.

Tomas Veloso had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight.
