 I am proud to announce 3 new inductee's to the GAMMA Hall of Fame!
Karl Denke (63718)
Managed by Jay Stoner (55630) and Captain Spaulding (804), won 17 and lost 13 with 13 title fights during his tenure. He is also the winner of 12 FON awards, with a #3 best fighter of the year award in 2011, in that year he ended up with a top #69 p4p ranking. His best run was under Spaulding when he had several top profile wins over fighters such as Bancroft Rothschild, J Blunts, Raz Matazz, Nero Aurelius, Fred Ettish, Dwayne Hicks. Karl ended up returning to GAMMA to end his career, now under new management and had a good run to lose the fight for the title against Arthur Curry. He retired at 41y of age.
Mark Makers (111282)
Managed mostly by Crippler crippler4hm (1259) (he had 5 fights under 2 other managers), he spent his whole career in GAMMA, with 38 fights + 8 fights in our affiliates. That makes Mark one of our longest standing fighters ever. He had 3 runs with 4 or more win streaks and had 7 FON awards, but for the most part he was not spectacular. His highest rank was p4p 207. He had a few big wins over Jt Colossus, Jorge Cruz, Fedor Jankovic, Trent Pope, Ben Grimm, Beno Gruffo, Tony Mendez. Remarkable is that dispite his relative consistency, he never fought for the title even once, he was usually one win away and never made it. His 24 wins ranks him 6th all time nevertherless.
Arthur Curry (92326)
Managed by Gale Hawthorne, after spending some time on the indy circuit, he joined GAMMA. He went on to become a 2 time 185lbs champ and a 1 time 205lbs champion with 14 total title fights in his GAMMA career. He also had 19 FON awards and is a top 5 p4p ranked fighter at his peak. He had several memorable fights over his career, including fights against HOF fighters such as Ejnar Thorsen, Raz MAtazz, Fred Ettish, Usain Watts, Karl Denke and wins over ex champs such as Jonny Victorio and Kris Hong. He retired from GAMMA in his 40s.
