UnderGround FC 95 Preview!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, My name is Tony Soprano and welcome to my first official preview as the writer for Underground Fight Club and the first PPV event of the year! Tonight I'll be previewing UnderGround FC 95 coming to you live from The Beer Garden in beautiful Amsterdam that includes not 1 but 2 rematch Championship fights! I'd like to give a special thanks to our partners for this even UnderGround Supplements and UnderGround Bets where you can make one bet and become a millionaire! With that being said let's move on to the preview!

Prelim card:

170 pound division:

Tiny T "Dinosaur" Rex (9-3) vs Marin Ivanov (8-8)

Another huge fight from the stacked 170 pound division! Ivanov is 1-7 in UnderGround FC while on a ridiculously frustrating 5 fight losing streak including 3 first round finishes. He is a wrestler that holds a blue belt in BJJ. Ivanov badly needs a win to snap this losing streak unfortunately he meets another tough matchup in Rex. Rex is 4-3 in UnderGround FC while on an unlucky 2 fight losing streak being finished in the first round of both fights. However before that he was on a 4 fight win streak including a fight of the night award so the skills to get back in the win column are there. He is a wrestler that holds a blue belt in BJJ. With both men being wrestlers it seems this fight will come down to strategy and which fighter performs better on the ground!

145 pound division:

Khabib "The Eagle" Nurmagomedov (6-4) vs Kyle Kristian "The Filipino Pedophile" Galeos (11-5)

"The Eagle" is 4-3 in UnderGround FC while losing 2 of his last 3 fights including a first round KO in under a minute in his last fight. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Being on a losing streak in UnderGround will only get you buried deeper down the rankings as this organization has nothing but great fighters. Khabib is included in those great fighters but he will need to focus and put together a great performance in this fight! Galeos is 5-5 in UnderGround FC however is on a 2 fight losing streak after winning 4 fights in a row including a KO of the night award for all 4 fights! Wow! That is rare and extremely impressive. Galeos is a boxer/wrestler that holds a white belt in BJJ. This fight has 2 fighters with the skill to perform who have been on unlucky streaks as of late. Both fighters have KO power and are looking for a win badly so fight fans won't want to miss this one!

135 pound division:

New Breed One (6-3) vs Curtis "Jiggy" Jackson (6-6)

New Breed changed management a few times and lost his debut in UnderGround but since then has won 2 in a row by way of first round submission. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a dangerous black belt in BJJ. He has won all 6 of his fights by way of submission which isn't a surprise when you see that belt of black around his waist. It's not shock that his gameplan will be to go to the ground early and often. Jackson is 6-3 in UnderGround FC and is currently on a 2 fight win streak. He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a blue belt in BJJ. Jackson has his hands full in this fight and will want to do everything in his power to stay off the canvas and test the boxing skills of the BJJ Black belt New Breed. This one might end quickly and ferociously.

170 pound division:

Kane Thompson (9-6-1) vs Joey "Trap God" Simone (8-2)

Kane is 2-1-1 in UnderGround FC with one fight being a majority draw which was easily the fight of the night award at UnderGround FC 61. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. Kane will be looking to avenge his last fight which ended in a lopsided decision loss and get a win and make his make known in the very competitive 170 pound division. "Trap God" is not an opponent to take lightly. He is 5-1 in UnderGround FC including 2 fight of the night awards with his only loss coming by decision at UnderGround FC 56. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. This fight has all the makings of being full of fireworks and both fighters will want to put in a great performance!

170 pound division:

Toby "Terror" Terrorelli (7-1) vs Cross "Lemon Drop" A Zoo (12-4)

That's right folks we weren't kidding when we said tonight is full of exciting fights. "Terror" lost his debut UnderGround FC fight after going 5-0 on the amateur scene. However he has bounced back nicely with 2 straight wins one of which being a fight of the night award! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 6 out of 7 wins coming by way of T/KO "Terror" might actually be a terror to deal with on the feet! Zoo is an impressive 8-2 in the UnderGround FC organization including 1 fight of the night award and will be looking to make his name known in the 170 pound division. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. These two fighters have 15 T/KO victories between them so I think this fight ends quickly!

Now onto the MAIN CARD!

155 pound division:

Ralphie "Head kick" Maldonado (9-7) vs Harvey "Horse Meat" Stallion (12-3)

Maldonado has recently changed management before signing his UnderGround FC contract and is 3-4 under the UnderGround FC organization. He is skilled in all aspects of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. However he has been a bit of a cold streak losing 4 of his last 5 fights and was T/KO'd in 3 of those fights including a first round T/KO in his last fight. Maldonado has the skills and will be looking to put them together to get back in the win column. It won't be easy though because on the other side of the cage is Stallion who has won 4 of his last 5 fights in UnderGround FC and successfully defended the 155 pound Championship one time before losing it to Juraj Divisek in a 5 round battle that ended in a decision. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and is a force on the ground holding a black belt in BJJ. Stallion will be looking for his second win in a row in route to another chance to retain the 155 pound championship. An exciting way to start off a great night of fights!

185 pound division:

Luther "Limpy" Jackson (22-7) vs Walter Jackson (8-1)

It's Jackson vs Jackson....which Jackson will come out on top?! Luther Jackson recently changed management and is 2-2 in UnderGround FC while twice fighting for the 185 pound Championship but coming up short both times. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt on BJJ. With 18 of 22 wins coming by way of submission he will be looking to go to the ground early where he is almost unbeatable. Walter Jackson is 6-1 in UnderGround FC and is on an impressive 5 fight win streak while being awarded the fight of the night once. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Walter will look to keep this fight standing while Luther will look to bring this fight to the ground as soon as possible. With 2 different style up against each other there's no way this won't be exciting!

Now....for your CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING and first of 2 Championship fights tonight!

265 pound defending Champion Henry "The African" Akinwande (8-1) vs Challenger Phil "Testosterone" Coleman (23-5)

Let's start with the challenger. Coleman has recently changed management and has been successful since the change. He is 3-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming against his opponent tonight and 265 pound Champion Akinwande! He is on a 2 fight win streak with both fights being finished by T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 15 of his 23 wins coming by way of T/KO he will be coming with power to try and win his first Championship in UnderGround FC! Akinwande is 6-1 in UnderGround FC and won the Championship from Fray Tormenta by first round KO and UnderGround FC 60 and has defended it twice including a 3 round T/KO stoppage win against his opponent tonight Phil Coleman. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. With 6 of his 8 wins coming by way of T/KO this fight is sure to impress and Akinwande doesn't seem like he's ready to lose his gold just yet!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING and the second and final Championship fight of the evening!

265+ division:

Defending 265+ UnderGround FC Champion Colin "Knee Legend" Kapernick (11-2) vs challenger "Big Pile Of" Turd McPherson (15-9)

The first Championship fight of the night is a rematch from UnderGround FC 72 and it's no joke! It's real! McPherson is 3-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming to....you guessed it....his opponent tonight 265+ pound Champion Kapernick in a rematch from UnderGround FC 72 where he lost by T/KO in the second round. Since then he has had back to back first round T/KO to gain another shot at the Championship! He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a purple belt in BJJ. Kapernick is on a 3 fight win streak since losing his Championship fight against Tohit Tohurt at UnderGround FC 40. His 3 fight win streak includes winning the Championship from Tohurt and defending it twice with both of those defenses coming in a rematch against Tohurt and his opponent tonight McPherson that he won by first round and second round T/KO. Kapernick is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. If this is anything like the first fight the rematch will be even better! Tune in to see if the Championship changes hands or in current Champion Kapernick can successfully defend for the 3rd time in a row!

That's the end of my preview for Underground FC 95! It was an honor and a privilege to write this preview. Tune in tomorrow for my preview for UnderGround FC 96 featuring a fight for the UnderGround FC 185 pound Championship between undefeated defending Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret (10-0) vs challenger Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson (11-4)!

UnderGround FC 96

Hello UnderGroundFC fight fans it's Tony Soprano back again for the preview of UnderGround FC 96 brought to you live from the Hard Knocks Arena in Amsterdam. Tonight we have some exciting fights capped off with dominant 185 pound UnderGroundFC Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret defending his title for the 4th straight time against challenger Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson. Let's get the review started!

Prelims

170 pound division:

Don "The Third" Bronson (2-1) vs Jason Rocks (6-4)

Bronson is a new comer to UnderGround FC winning his debut fight by way of first round KO with a devistating knee. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He'll be looking to extend the win streak tonight and continue to make a name for himself in his new organization! Rocks had a rough start to his UnderGround FC career losing the first 2 of his fights in the first round. He was able to put together wins in his next two fights but lost his most recent fight making him just 2-3 in UnderGround FC. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight seems to be one that will stay standing with 2 fighters still looking to make a name for themselves in the 170 pound division.

265+ pound division:

Yhorm "The Giant" Cinder (7-6) vs Pedro "Big Peter" Fuentes (4-1)

Cinder is making his UnderGround FC debut! He is currently on a 4 fight losing streak and will be looking to break that with an impressive showing in his first fight with the organization. He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a brown belt in BJJ. Fuentes has won all 4 of his fights in UnderGround FC including 3 first round T/KO victories and 1 KO of the night award! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Fuentes is on a roll and will look to make quick work of a debut fighter and continue his ascend to the top of the 265+ pound division!

205 pound division:

Frank Rothco (6-7) vs Patrick Bower (6-6)

Frank Rothco has been fighting for UnderGround FC since the beginning having his first fight on UnderGround FC 6. He is 5-5 overall in the organization and has won 3 of his last 5 fights. He is boxer that holds a white belt in BJJ. With 5 of his 6 victories coming by way of T/KO he'll be looking to finish this fight quickly and with a bang! Bower has also been fighting for UnderGround FC since the beginning having fought at UnderGround FC 5 and is 5-4 overall in the organization. He has won 3 of his last 4 fights by way of first round T/KO including a KO of the night award so he has been on fire! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. With all 6 of his victories coming by way of T/KO this fight is guaranteed to have fireworks and could very much end in a KO of the night award for either fighter! Great to see 2 fighters who have been here since the beginning!

155 pound division:

Pax "The Spear" Africa (9-5) vs "Juicy Open Lipped Kiss" Jay Brown (10-7)

Africa is 4-2 in UnderGround FC and had his 4 fight win streak snapped in his last fight when he was KO'd in the first round. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. With 6 T/KO and 3 submission victories he has finished all of his wins and he will look to continue that streak in this fight! Jay Brown may have a nickname that made me have a good laugh but what's not funny is how focused he's been after recently changing managers. Brown has put together 2 straight wins including a first round submission victory in his last fight. He is a boxer/wrestler that holds a scary looking BLACK BELT in BJJ. He has 9 victories by way of submission and both men have the skills to finish this fight in the first round. This has submission of the night written all over it and fight fans around the world should be in for a treat right before the main card begins!

Speaking of the main card let's dive right in!

MAIN CARD:

185 pound division:

Raiam Dos Santos (13-12) vs Ricardo "Maloquero" Cruz (7-2)

Dos Santos is 6-4 in UnderGround FC and was the 185 pound Champion after winning the Championship at UnderGround FC 11 only to lose it shortly later at UnderGround FC 24. He has won 3 of his last 5 fights including a fight of the night award. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Dos Santos will be looking to continue his quest to get back in the championship picture! Cruz is 5-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming to current champion Parret. He also was awarded a submission of the night award during that 4 fight win streak he put together before the loss. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds the impressive BLACK BELT in BJJ. With 6 of his 7 victories coming by way of submission the game plan should be to go to the ground early and often. This is an interesting matchup and is guaranteed to bring the heat!

185 pound division:

James 'Dangerzone" Stormchaser (7-4) vs Giuseppe Turturro (8-4)

This is an exciting matchup between 2 talented young fighters. Stormchaser is 1-2 with 1 no contest due to his opponent not being able to make weight for the fight. He won his last fight by way of KO and was awarded fight of the night in the fight before that in a decision loss to Raiam Dos Santos who is also fighting on this card. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He's won all of his fights by T/KO so I would expect nothing different in this one! Turturro won the 185 pound UnderGround FC Championship at UnderGround FC 24 and successfully defended it twice before losing the championship to current champ Parret. This will be his first fight under new management so we'll see if he can change things as he's lost 3 of his last 4 fights. He is a wrestler that holds an impressive BLACK BELT in BJJ. With all 8 of his victories coming by way of submission we have a very interesting Boxer/Wrestler matchup. Who will prevail? Will it be a knockout or a submission? Fight of the night candidate? Tune in to find out!

Now for your CO MAIN EVENT of the evening!

205 pound division:

Aapo Jukola (8-1) vs Tony "Badass" Winkle (10-4)

Jukola won his first 7 fights in UnderGround FC and 8 of his career including 4 first round finishes in route to his first ever Championship fight which he lost by a devastating first round flying knee KO. He's recovered and his back to get another win and bounce back from his first career loss! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a blue belt in BJJ. With 6 of his 8 wins coming from T/KO and a chip on his shoulder having suffered his first loss of his career he will be looking to come out swinging for the fences which the fans will always love to see! Winkle changed management before he started his UnderGround FC contract and won his first 2 fights by way of T/KO. That steak was snapped in his last fight suffering a KO loss in the second round. He is a wrestler that holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 8 of his 10 victories coming by way of submission he will look to go to the ground early and often especially with his opponent loving to T/KO his opponents. Another fight of the night candidate!

Now for your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

185 pound division:

Undefeated Defending 185 pound UnderGround FC Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret (10-0) vs Challenger Akoni "Big Moves" Jackson (11-4)

Let's start with the challenger. Jackson will have his hands full tonight and to say he will need "Big Moves" is an understatement. Jackson changed management right before signing his UnderGround FC contract and won his debut fight by first round T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a white belt in BJJ. With 9 of his 11 victories coming by way of T/KO he will come out swinging with heavy hands looking to finally defeat UnderGround FC's 185 pound version of Goliath! Speaking of the champion Parret he won his first 4 fights in UnderGround FC where he was then awarded a championship fight where he told full advantage knocking out then champion Giuseppe Turturro with one single punch. He would then go on to successfully defend that championship 3 times while taking home an award for either fight of the night or KO of the night for each of those wins! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With 9 out of 10 of his victories coming by way of T/KO we have the making of 2 men who will meet in the middle of the cage and duke it out until one man prevails! If you like a stand and bang type of fight I think this is not only the fight for you but this is the start of you becoming a fan of UnderGround FC and the amazing fights that are put on display with each and every card!

That will just about end my preview for UnderGround FC 96. It was an honor to be able to write another preview for another perfectly put together card. Tune in on Saturday 2/15/20 because you won't want to miss even a second of this night of fights! Thank you everyone and good night!

I have to say that i was little surprised when i noticed that Akoni Jackson is 25 years old creation. He has quite good striking skills. People dont understand that even if fighter is 25 year old creation he will train fast, if hes fast learner..

I always read all pre/rewies about my fighters, but rarely comment. Always really great stuff

UnderGround FC 95 Review!

Welcome back ladies and gentlemen once again my name is Tony Soprano and I'm here to bring you the review of UnderGround FC's latest card UnderGround FC 95 featuring a main event 265+ Championship fight between Champion Colin Kapernick and challenger Turd McPherson. UnderGround FC 95 was sponsored by UnderGround Supplements and brought to you live from the sold out Beer Garden in Amsterdam! We also broadcasted live on PPV to over 14,055 homes! I'm very excited for this one folks so let's get right into the review!

Pre lims:

170 pound division:

Marin Ivanov (9-8) def Tiny T "Dinosaur" Rex (9-4) by unamious decision

This fight was mostly contested on the ground with both fighters not doing much. Ivanov was the more dominate fighter on the ground securing 3 total takedowns whole attempting quite a few submissions but not able to lock any of them in. He was able to cut Rex in the first round which maybe changed the fight a bit as Rex seemed to go conservative especially while on the ground. Ivanov easily won the first two rounds with his takedowns and mostly controlling the action on the ground however Rex was able to come alive in the last round to give the judges something to consider. It didn't change their minds though as they awarded the winner by unamious decision Marin Ivanov! Ivanov took time to thank his fans for their support after the fight. Ivanov snaps a 5 fight losing streak with the win while Rex has now lost 3 in a row.

145 pound division:

Kyle Kristian "The Filipino Pedophile" Galeos (12-5) def Khabib "The Eagle" Nurmagomedov (6-5) by KO (punches) *FIGHT OF THE NIGHT*

Ladies and Gentlemen we have your first award of the night. Galeos ended this fight in less than a minute which is more time for the national anthem to play. Galeos was able to connect with a jab and massive straight that send Nurmagomedov out cold to the canvas. Both men will take home an extra $1000 for the bonus award. Galeos snaps a 2 fight losing streak while adding his 5th award of his career. Nurmagomedov loses his first fight under new management and will need to go back to his team and re group.

135 pound division:

New Breed One (7-3) def Curtis "Jiggy" Jackson (6-7) by submission (Kimura)

New Breed One went to the ground quickly in the opening minute and dominated there as Jackson just had no answer to the ground game. New Breed attempted 9 submissions that were all defended beautifully by Jackson but he just couldn't figure out a way to get back to his feet. After defending that many attempts your body is going to give out and eventually that's what happened as New Breed One submitted Curtis Jackson by first round Kimura! New Breed One thanked all his fans after the fight and even promised to do better in his next fight so we'll have to see if he can keep that promise. New Breed One has won 3 in a row and 4 of his last 5 while Jackson has his 2 fight win streak snapped.

170 pound division:

Joey "Trap God" Simone (9-2) def Kane Thompson (9-7-1) by T/KO (strikes)

This fight was very even on the feet and both men were trading shots that were mostly missing. The first round was close but the judges had it in favor of Simone. The first minute of the second round was much different however as Simone was able to start landing some shots that clearly affected Thompson. Simone the faked low and threw an overhand right that was able to hit Thompson directly and rocked him. Thompson then threw a sloppy head kick which allowed Simone to land another right hand that dropped Thompson and finish the fight via ground and pound referee stoppage. After the fight Simone thanked his fans for their support. Joey "Trap God" Simone has now won 4 fights in a row and 6 of his last 7 in UnderGround FC while Thompson has lost his last 2 fights.

170 pound division:

Cross "Legend Drop" A Zoo (13-4) def Tobi "Terror" Terrorelli (7-2) by submission (strikes)

Zoo dominated this fight from the opening bell cutting Terrorelli with a strike in the first minute of the fight that only continued to get worse. Terrorelli was easily outmatched on the feet but continued to fight and battle for as long as he could making it out of the first round. However more of the same pressure came from Zoo in the second round controlling the cage and landing strikes at ease. It started to take a toll on Terrorelli going into the fourth minute of the round and that's when Zoo smelled blood in the water and could sense Terrorelli was ready to give up. Zoo turned up the pressure and landed some nasty elbows including one to the forehead that rocked Terrorelli who was essentially out on his feet eating more elbows and 2 huge uppercuts from Zoo that sent him into the cage. Zoo landed another 2 strikes and a huge elbow that spelled the end as Terrorelli tapped out due to strikes and couldn't take it anymore. Zoo has won 2 in a row and 5 of his last 6 fights while Terrorelli lost only his second fight in UnderGround FC and had a 2 fight win streak snapped so we know we will see him back soon to avenge this loss!

MAIN CARD

155 pound division:

Harvey "Horse Meat" Stallion (13-3) def Ralphie "Head Kick" Maldonado (9-8) by submission (strikes)

This fight didn't last long as Stallion landed a successful takedown in the first minute of the fight and it never got back to the feet. Stallion dominated on the ground landing good shots while advancing position as well eventually getting to full mount and landing heavy ground and pound and 2 nasty elbows back to back that forced Maldonado to tap due to strikes in the first round for your winner Harvey "Horse Meat" Stallion. Stallion thanked his fans after the fight and told them how much they motivate him for every fight. Stallion has now won 2 in a row and 5 of his last 6 fights while trying to get another shot at the Championship. Maldonado lost his first fight under new management and will need to recover after a tough finish like that one.

185 pound division:

Luther "Limpy" Jackson (23-7) def Walter Jackson (8-2) by submission (Kimura) *SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT*

This fight was exciting right from the start as Luther Jackson was cut in the opening minute. Both men traded shots but Luther also went from multiple takedowns that were stuffed each time by Walter. The continued to trade shots back and forth while hearing cheering from the fans until Walter was able to land a big right hand that rocked Luther and opened his cut even worse. He was able to regain his footing and survive the round which most didn't expect him to do with Walter dominating the first round. The second round was much different then the first with Luther Jackson and his team realizing they couldn't survive the stand up game. Luther than landed a takedown in the first minute of the second round and attempted 3 submissions that Walter defended until finally locking in the Kimura that ended up being too much for Walter. Luther Jackson put together one hell of a comeback en route to the submission of the night award and an extra $1000 in his pocket! Walter had his 5 fight win streak snapped his this great fight and will look to redeem himself next time out while Luther gets back in the win column after losing his Championship fight in his last time in the cage.

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

265 pound division:

Champion Henry "The African" Akinwande (9-1) def Phil "Testosterone" Coleman (23-6) by T/KO (Punches)

AND STILL! Akinwande was not about to lose his championship and came into this fight with that very mentality. He dominated from the opening bell easily winning the first round with his beautiful stand up landing shots the the head and also working the body well. Coleman pulled guard at the end of the round and was able to survive the first round. Coleman didn't survive the second round however as Akinwande went right back to dominating the stand up and connected with a great punch right through Coleman's guard that dazed him. Akinwande followed that up by a right and left hook that sent Coleman to the canvas and Akinwande finished off the fight with some ferocious ground and pound forcing the referee to step in and end the fight in the first minute of the second round. Akinwande wins by T/KO and successfully defends his 265 pound UnderGround FC Championship for the 3rd time and made sure to thank his fans after the fight and to make sure they follow him on Twitter! Coleman has his 2 fight win streak snapped and has now lost to Akinwande 2 times while Akinwande has beaten Coleman 2 times and has won 4 in a row and an impressive 9 of his last 10 fights!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

265+ pound division:

Champion Colin Kapernick (12-2) def challenger "Big Pile Of" Turd McPherson (15-10) by KO(punches) *KO OF THE NIGHT*

Here we have a rematch of UnderGround FC 72 where we saw Kapernick successfully defend his championship against his opponent tonight McPherson. This fight was not much different as it didn't last long. Kapernick was the aggressor the whole fight taking it to McPherson with a combination of head and body shots to keep him guessing. He stuck with that strategy for the better part of 3 minutes until he was able to catch McPherson with a right hook on the temple that sent him to the canvas. McPherson looked up and Kapernick with a smile that said you got lucky and Kapernick sent a smile right back that said let's do it again! We've got ourselves a fight here!! Both men exchange again where Kapernick ducks a punch and lands a devistating picture perfect right hook that sends McPherson out cold and seeing stars. Kapernick successfully defends his 265+ pound Championship for the 3rd time while earning an extra $1000 for KO of the night! He has now won 5 fights in a row while McPherson has his 2 fight win streak snapped and has lost to Kapernick 2 times in his last 4 fights.

That will wrap up by review of an exciting night of fights. Tev Clark and everyone at UnderGround Fight Club has done it again with another card full of fireworks! Congratulations to all the award winners and to both Champions walking away with their Championships still in hand. Tune in tomorrow for my review of UnderGround FC 96! Goodnight

UnderGround FC 96 Review

Hello UnderGround Fight Club fans my name is Tony Soprano and I'm back again with your review of UnderGround FC 96! Headlined by a fight for the UnderGround FC 185 pound Championship! Wasting no time let's jump into the review!

Pre lims:

170 pound division:

Don "The Third" Bronson (3-1) def Jason Rocks (6-5) via KO (Punch)

Starting off the night was a fight that didn't last long but was sloppy while it lasted as both fighters threw big punches and kicks that mostly missed. It was a back forth effort with Rocks getting cut within the first minute by a jab. It didn't end there however as Bronson landed a big right hand at the start of the 3rd minute dropping Rocks who was then challenged to stand back up which he did. Gotta respect the courage but it didn't work out this time as Rocks was hurt again immediately by a monster hook that knocked him out cold and ended the fight! Bronson carried his confidence into the post fight interview where he told the crowd he was going to conquer the world and this was a good start!

265+ pound division:

Pedro "Big Peter" Fuentes (5-1) def Yhorm "The Giant" Cinder (7-7) via KO (Punch)

Pedro Fuentes was cut immediately in this fight having to change his game plan in order to keep that cut from getting worse. He was able to defend takedowns and clinch attempts early from Cinder which seemed to take a lot out of Cinder. Fuentes was able to take advantage of that and land some shots to the head and body and cut Cinder with a big uppercut from the clinch that dropped him to one knee but he was able to use to cage to stay on his feet. He seemed to be out on his feet though because Fuentes connected with a massive hook that knocked Cinder out cold ending the fight in the first round. Fuentes has now won 5 fights in a row and will got his shot at the 265+ pound Championship against Colin Kapernick UnderGround FC 105 in March!

205 pound division:

Frank Rothco (7-7) def Patrick Bower (6-7) via split decision *FIGHT OF THE NIGHT*

This was a 3 round 5 minute battle with both fighters being fearless and getting knocked down while landing knockdowns themselves. The first round saw both men get knocked down and recovering rather quickly while Rothco was cut by a nice combo during battle. The judges had the round in favor of Rothco but it could have went either way! The second round was much of the same but both fighters were able to stay in their feet. More strikes thrown but nothing big landed by either men. The judges awarded the round to Rothco but it was so close it depends on who you ask so both fighters still believe the fight is up for grabs. The third round showed more strikes by both men some landing and some missing. Both men were able to stay in their feet again and finish another close round. Everybody who had eyes saw this fight was very close and I wouldn't have wanted to score it. Both men will walk away with a $500 bonus for Fight of the Night which is well deserved!

155 pound division:

Pax "the spear" Africa (10-5) def "Juicy Open Lipped Kiss" Jay Brown (10-8) via unamious decision

Jay Brown was cut early on by a nice strike from Africa which seemed to distract him and allowed Africa to score with a nice couple of shots followed by a takedown. Brown showed nice defense skills however which lead to the referee standing them up. Africa stuck to the game plan and landed another takedown a minute later after landing some more shots. The round ended with another referee stand up after Africa dominated. The second round saw more of the same with Africa landing a quick takedown. Brown should nice defense skills again and was able to land a reversal but Africa landed a reversal of his own to land in half guard and continue dominating on the ground. He attempted a late submission that was fought off and ended the second round with Africa dominating again. Africa and Brown traded some shots in the third until Africa was able to land another takedown late in the round to seemingly end the fight. The judges scored it correctly with a unamious decision in favor of Pax Africa!

MAIN CARD OF THE EVENING

185 pound division:

Ricardo "Maloquero" Cruz (8-2) def Raiam Dos Santos (13-13) via submission (Americana)

This fight had fireworks quickly as the fight traded from the feet to the clinch often. Ricardo Cruz was cut early by a nice one two combo as well so he had to make sure he protected that cut alittle more as to not let it get worse. Cruz was able to land a nice takedown that wasn't for long however with Dos Santos escaping quickly and bringing the fight back to the clinch. Cruz was able to land another takedown close to the end of the round and try for a Kimura but it was defended successfully. Dos Santos was able to get the better of Cruz and win the first round easily. After that first round a fire was lit under Cruz as the second and third round were dominated by him on the ground. He was able to land 4 takedowns in route to locking in a deep Americana late in the third round where Dos Santos had no choice but to tap out!

185 pound division:

Giuseppe Turturro (9-4) def James "dangerzone" Stormchaser (7-5) via submission (triangle)*SUBMISSION OF THE NIGHT*

Turturro came out with huge amounts of pressure that was too much for Stormchaser to handle as he was put in the clinch multiple times. He did his best to fight off Turturro however landing a few punches that landed. Turturro was too much too handle as he landed a nice takedown from the clinch and absolutely dominated on the ground. Turturro is dangerous on the ground with his BJJ skills and Stormchaser certainly didn't want to end up here. Turturro had to attempt 3 times but was successful on the final attempt locking in a triangle deep forcing his opponent to tap out furiously! Turturro took his time in the spotlight to tell the crowd he was going to conquer the world. It's hard not to believe after that performance! Turturro will go home with an extra $500 for earning the submission of the night award!

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

205 pound division:

Aapo Jukola (9-1) def Tony "Sit Down" Winkle (10-5) via T/KO (strikes)*KO OF THE NIGHT*

Your Co Main event of the evening did not disappoint! It lasted a total of 39 seconds! Jukola was able to knockdown Winkle with one of his very first punches of the night and then wanted Winkle to stand back up. Courage maybe getting the better of him Winkle stood back to his feet and engaged again only to be instantly put down again and cut by a huge left hook and more punches while he was on the ground forcing the referee to jump in and stop this fight! Jukola walks away with an extra $500 for the KO of the night award! Winkle was humble in his loss saying sorry to his sponsors and thanking his opponent for the fight and reminding matchmakers he is still willing to fight anyone!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

185 pound division:

Champion Pate "The Finnish Experiment" Parret (11-0) def Akoni "Big Moves"Jackson (11-5)

Goliath stands tall again and continues his dominance in UnderGround FC by staying undefeated and defending his Championship for the 4th time! The first two rounds were close back and forth action on the feet between two men who showed up and agreed to stand and bang for the Championship! After two exciting close rounds the judges seemed to have Parret up both rounds but close enough for both fighters to still be in it when the bell rings for the 3rd round. It seemed Jackson may have lost some serious stamina as Parret was able to land a lot more shots and it was taking a toll on Jackson. Parret was able to land a beautiful counter punch after a lazy punch by Jackson that rocked him badly! Jackson seemed to be out on his fight while still trying to defend himself and continuing to take shots for Parret. Parret could smell the end and used his counter punching to set up a deadily head kick when Jackson rushed in for the clinch that knocked him out cold ending the fight in the third round! With the winner AND STILL UNDERGROUND FC 185 POUND CHAMPION PATE "THE FINNISH EXPERIMENT" PARRET!

That will end my review for UnderGround FC 96. Once again as fight fans we got a great night of fights with exciting fights all night and a Championship fight to end all battles! I'll be back this week with my preview of next week's events UnderGround FC 97 and 98 featuring a fight for the UnderGround FC 170 pound Championship between Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau (13-3) and challenger Gabriel "Tarntula" Torres (11-1)! Prelims:

265+ pound division:

Andrejs "Lacis" Medvedevs (1-2) vs Bac "Spring Pac" Nguyen Xuan (0-0)

Medvedevs is 1-1 in the organization after fighting the same opponent twice and winning a decision and losing a decision. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. Medvedevs is only 19 years old and probably shouldn't be fighting professionally just yet but he and his manager thought differently and his career is not off to a bad start. He will look to add another win under his belt against his opponent who his fighting in his first ever professional MMA fight. Speaking of his opponent Xuan is a 21 year old prospect out of Ha Noi Vietnam. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This is a fight between 2 exciting prospects and it will be great to see two young fighters try and make a name for themselves!

265+ pound division:

Marilin "The Demolition Man" Manson (2-1) vs Bill "Koutalas" Koutalianos (1-1)

Manson is 2-1 in the organization after winning his first 2 fights but suffering a first round T/KO loss in his last fight. He is a muai thai/wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Manson has skills to be dangerous on the feet and on the ground so we will see what kind of game plan his team comes up with for this fight! Koutalianos is coming off 2 tough decision fights where he won a fight and lost his last fight. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight looks like it will be a close battle whether it stays standing or goes to the ground and should be a great way to keep the crowd happy!

265+ pound division:

Hot Steel (8-4) vs Kamen "The Stone" Kamenov (5-11-1)

Steel comes over from FARTMMA and shined in his UnderGround FC debut with a beautiful first round head kick T/KO that earned him a KO of the night award! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a white belt in BJJ. He has all of his wins by T/KO and should be respected as a dangerous threat on the feet! Kamenov has struggled so far in his MMA career going 5-11-1 and losing 7 of his last 9 fights. However he still has a contract with UnderGround FC so he will show up and try to improve his record and get back on the winning track against an opponent who has had a good start to his career. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. This fight could go either way but in my opinion won't last long! A fight between two young prospects that are sure to have bright futures in UnderGround FC.

145 pound division:

Killua "Kill" Zoldyk (7-9) vs Ky Tycoon (8-5)

Zoldyk is 3-5 in the organization and is currently on a 3 fight losing streak losing all 3 fights by decision. He skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Zoldyk has the skills to compete in the feet and on the ground and should be a good test for his opponent. Tycoon won his last fight which snapped a 4 fight losing streak and he also had a fight cancelled due to his opponent not making weight. He is a wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. This fight has all the makings of a chess battle between two smart fighters that could end in a decision easily!

155 pound division:

Rob Gross (7-6) vs Crazy Horse (4-0)

Gross is 1-2 in the organization after having won his debut he had lost his last 2 fights by T/KO. He has been T/KO'd in 5 of his 6 losses so he will look to be alittle more conservative as to not get caught early. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a blue belt in BJJ. He will have a tough test in this fight but will also look to make a name for himself with a big win! Crazy Horse has won all 4 of his professional MMA fights including 3 wins in the UnderGround FC organization. He is coming off a decision win in his last fight but also has a T/KO and submission win in those 3 fights. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a very impressive black belt in BJJ. Crazy Horse will look to keep his undefeated start to his career in tact and cement his name in the 155 pound Championship conversation!

MAIN CARD!

155 pound division:

Israel "RedBeard" Hands (4-2) vs Reima Poika (6-1-1)

Hands is 4-1 in the organization including a submission of the night award. He is coming off a unamious decision victory and has won 4 of his last 5 fights. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. "RedBeard" has the skills to compete wherever this fight ends up going and should be a tough opponent. Poika lost his debut fight by first round T/KO in the UnderGround FC organization after coming over from GDL where he went undefeated with 6 straight wins including winning the championship and defending it successfully twice so he is no joke as an opponent and might have just let nerves get the best of him in his debut. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. He'll be looking to get his first win with his new organization!

265+ pound division:

Joe "Shotgun" Clark (4-0) vs Crispin "Sundowner" Freeman (3-1)

Clark is undefeated after debuting at UnderGround FC 8 and then fighting for the GDL where he won the Championship and successfully defended it once before making the decision to come back to UnderGround. He clearly has power in his hands as he has won all of his fights by way of first round T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. He's undefeated and a brutal knockout artist so this fighter will surely be loved by all the fans! Freeman has fought all of his fights in UnderGround FC and has put together a 3 fight win and T/KO finish streak after losing his debut which clearly pissed him off. He is a boxer/wrestler and holds a white belt in BJJ. This fight is sure to bring fireworks as we have two established KO artists meeting in the middle of the cage to see who will prevail!

135 pound division:

Morris Day (11-4) vs Anthony Shiina (10-5)

Day is 3-1 in the organization with his only loss coming in a Championship fight where he suffered a second round KO loss. He was able to get back in the win column with a first round T/KO in his last fight and will look to continue that momentum in this one. He is a wrestler and holds a purple belt in BJJ. Despite being a wrestler he has 8 T/KO's out of his 11 wins so he seems to be prepared for anything! Shiina has been up and down recently and changed management a few times. This will be his debut fight in UnderGround FC after losing his last fight under the RapidFC organization. He will look to make a great first impression on his new organization with a big showing! He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. With all 10 of his wins coming by way of submission this fight looks to go to the ground but the question will be will it end with a T/KO or a submission? You won't want to miss the answer to that question!

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING

155 pound division:

Akaro "Kid Lighting" Horiguchi (7-2) vs Liberal Stomper (13-3)

Horiguchi is 4-1 in the UnderGround FC with his only loss coming in an unsuccessful challenge for the Championship. He has a fight of the night and KO of the night award under the UnderGround FC organization. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. 6 out of 7 of his wins have come by way of T/KO so he will surely be looking to end another fight by way of brutal T/KO fashion. Stomper has been in UnderGround FC since it's start having won his debut fight on UnderGround FC 1 and is 7-3 in the organization with 4 fight of the night awards. He won his last fight in the first round by KO and has 9 of his 13 wins by way of T/KO. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a purple belt in BJJ. This fight should be a great boxing duel and should end quickly with 15 combined T/KO's between both fighters. This is something of a treat for your Co Main Event!

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

170 pound Championship:

Defending Champion Yves "Apache" Trudeau (13-3) vs challenger Gabriel "Tarantula" Torres (11-1)

Your main event of the evening is also a candidate for fight of the night as it's going to be an absolute war to determine the best of the best in the 170 pound division! The Challenger Torres is 3-1 in UnderGround FC with his only loss coming in his first shot at the Championship against then champ Kobayashi Jin. He is a Champion in 2 different organizations before coming to UnderGround FC so he will be looking to capture gold in 3 different organizations if he can be successful in this fight. He won his last two fights in the first round by way of T/KO and submission and looks hungry to get to the champion! Speaking of the champion Trudeau lost his debut fight against the same man he was able to take the Championship from in his last fight Uesugi Mochinori. He won the championship in a 5 round war that he was able to finish with a T/KO with only 20 seconds left in the fight! Trudeau will be looking for his first successful championship defense in this fight. He is skilled in every aspect of MMA and holds a brown belt in BJJ. This fight will be very even right down the middle as Trudeau holds advantages in muai thai and Torres holds advantages in boxing and BJJ so it looks like this will come down to game plan and who can stick to it under heavy pressure. I'm personally excited to see this one as it's between to great fighters who have been on a role with great careers so far. Will Torres win his first Championship in UnderGround FC? Will Trudeau be able to successfully defend his title? Place your bets at UnderGround Bets and don't miss this amazing main event fight!

That will be the end of my preview. Thank you for taking the time to read my articles as I enjoy breaking down the fights for all our UnderGround FC fans! Make sure join me after the fights for my review of both UnderGround FC 97 and 98 and we will see you on Saturday! Good night!

I had a very successful debut. My fighter "Spring Pac" has been constantly taking down his opponents. However, from the perspective of a manager, I see he is still inexperienced when he does not know how to finish the opponent. I will try to improve him more, not let him fall asleep on victory. 1 pac, 2 pac, 3 pac .. Spring Pac. xD

Hello UnderGround Fight Club fans it's Tony Soprano back again with a review for UnderGround FC 97. This was another great night of fights so let's get right down to business!

Prelims:

Tandi House (3-4) def Adam "Cicero" Bruno (5-7) via TKO (strikes)

This fight was pretty one sided as House had a game plan and seemed to stick to it and executed it perfectly. He dominated the first round scoring 2 takedowns and having his way on the ground after Bruno came out quickly with a clinch. Bruno showed good takedown defense stopping 3 takedown attempts but House proved to be too much continuing to shoot for them until he was successful. The first round ended heavily in favor of House. The second round started with more of the same as Bruno again looked for a clinch quickly but was instead defending takedowns as House attempted 3 more before finally scored the takedown. That's all he needed however as he was able to advance postion to mount and unleash vicious ground and pound until the referee stopped the fight! House puts an end to his 2 fight losing streak while Bruno continues his tough stretch with his 5th straight loss.

205 pound division:

Francis "Franco" Begbie (3-1) def "Speak To The Devil" Ross Glinner (7-3) via TKO (strikes)

This fight did not last long at all as Begbie landed two big takedowns early with the second proving to be fatal as he landed big ground and pound shots on Glinner forcing the referee to stop the fight. Begbie took the post fight interview spotlight to ramble about himself for 5 minutes which he easily deserves after a performance like that! Begbie will walk away with $500 for the KO of the night award and is now 2-1 in the organization while Glinner has lost 3 of his last 4 fights and will need to try a new gameplan in his next fight.

155 pound division:

Tyrone Biggs (4-0) def Marchrius "Marco" Rossi (5-2) via KO (Punch)

This was an exciting fight between two fighters that stayed on their feet the entire fight trading big shot after big shot which is surprising considering Rossi more of a wrestler. This continued for all of the first round with Biggs winning the close round. The second round only lasted about a minute as Biggs capitalized on his good first round and rocked Rossi with a series of shots that had him wondering why he never tried to take this fight to the ground. Biggs took advantage of Rossi' wobbly legs and landed a punch directly to the temple that ended this fight. Biggs stays undefeated improving his record to 4-0 while Rossi drops to 5-2.

135 pound division:

Paw Paw Udomprecha (3-0) def Alex Murray (3-2) via split decision

Ladies and Gentlemen I'd like to welcome you to your FIGHT OF THE NIGHT! Both fighters took home a $500 bonus! The first round saw a lot of both men trading shots on the feet with Murray trying for the clinch twice and having the clinch broken both times. It was pretty even on the ground so those clinch breaks is probably what gave Paw Paw the slight advantage after the first round. The second round was more of the same even action on the feet with both fighters landing shots and Murray trying for more clinches but breaking them himself because he didn't like the position. Another close round seemed to go in Paw Paw favor again but it's still so close that both fighters are in this fight and that's what's their corners are telling them as well. The third round saw more shots traded back and forth with both fighters seeming to play it safe for the decision victory. After 3 rounds the judges scored it 30:27 30:27 and 28:29 for your winner Paw Paw Udomprecha! Udomprecha stays unbeaten as this was easily his toughest fight to date. Murray drops to 5-2 and honestly I don't see how this fight doesn't happen again and quickly! Great fight!

135 pound division:

Eduardo "Raw Power" Corassa (7-1) def Darian Cruz (5-3) via KO (punch)

This fight was never close as Corassa came in a dominated from the opening bell. He kept the pressure on and landed the shots that he needed as Cruz had no answer from the beginning. Corassa won the first round and came out to finish what he started in the second round as he landed some nice shots and sealed the deal with a brutal uppercut that knocked Cruz out before he even hit the mat! Corassa improves to 7-1 and has now won his last two fights while Cruz has lost his last 2 fights.

Main Card:

265 pound division:

Hristo "Dagger" Mihailov (5-2) def "The Patriot" John Dougherty (7-4) via T/KO (strikes)

Folks this fight did not last long as Mihailov came prepared and ready for a fight! I wish I could say the same about Dougherty as Mihailov dropped him with a right and left combo. Dougherty was able to recover however although he did suffer a cut that doesn't look good. Dougherty made some good decisions on the ground as he was able to work the defensive guard in order to avoid some shots from Mihailov. Mihailov realized this and stood up and dove in with a huge left hand and finished it up with more ground and pound strikes and forced the ref to stop the fight! Mihailov snaps a two fight losing streak while Dougherty snaps a 4 fight win streak and will look to get back on track in his next fight!

145 pound division:

Sylvain Lievremont (9-4) def John Michael "Gangster" Benitoy (8-5) via submission (triangle)

Ladies and Gentlemen this is your submission of the night!! Lievremont walks away with a $500 bonus for his performance tonight. Benitoy was actually the one that landed the takedown and was controlling the ground game until Lievremont surprised him with a triangle that he was able to lock in and force Benitoy to tap out quickly! Lievremont has now won 3 of his last 4 fights while Benitoy breaks a 3 fight win streak with the loss.

145 pound division:

Pablo Rodriguez (11-4-1) def Manalili Meesang (7-2)

This had all the makings of a great fight and it did not disappoint as it went the distance! Rodriguez seemed the win the first round as most of the action stood on the feet with both fighters exchanging shots. The second round was more of the same as Meesang was able to open up and land some more shots including a shot that ended up cutting Rodriguez. Meesang was able to land a stiff jab that rocked Rodriguez for a bit but he was able to recover and still compete. That was a close round with some scoring it for Rodriguez while others had it for Meesang so both fighters will look to come out and stake their case for the win in the third round. Rodriguez was back to his ways and shook off the iffy second round to dominate the third round on the feet and leave his mark cemented in the judges brains. It seemed as though Rodriguez dominated that fight but not in every judges mind as he won by split decision with one judge scoring the fight in favor of Meesang 29:28. Rodriguez is unbeaten in his last 3 fights with 2 wins and 1 draw and Meesang is now on a 2 fight losing streak after tonight's loss.

CO MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!

265+ pound division:

Keith Primeau (4-1) def Newbie Guide (10-6) via KO (Head Kick)

If you came to see a KO then the co main event left you a happy fight fan! Primeau was able to cut Guide with his first jab of the fight which seemed to bother Guide as he was not expecting having to deal with a cut this early on. Guide stayed tough though trading shots with Primeau during the first couple of minutes and was able to cut Primeau and get him back for his own cut! This seemed to piss off Primeau as he kicked it into high gear and focused on Guide's cut and made it worse and worse until it was all Newbie Guide could think about. He was able to take advantage and land a brutal head kick and knocked Newbie Guide out cold ending the fight in the first round! Primeau used his post fight interview to ask his fans to follow him on Twitter. Primeau is now on a 3 fight win streak and has won 4 of his last 5 while Guide has now lost his last 2 fights.

MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!

205 pound division:

"Exquisite" Anthony Romeo (17-5) def Valentin "The Hand Grenade" Taneyev (7-2) via split decision

This is our 3rd fight in the card ending in split decision so I wouldnt want to be a judge on a night like tonight. The first round went back and forth with both men keeping it on the feet and trading shots back and forth. Taneyev was rocked by a well placed hook by Romeo but was able to recover rather quickly and keep himself in the fight. He fought back after that and was even able to cut Romeo with a nice combination! Romeo looked to win a razor thin first round. The second round was more of the same except no fighter was rocked or knocked down in this round. Taneyev tried to change things up with some clinch attempts but they were fought off pretty successfully each time by Romeo which might have been the nod that won Romeo another close round. Romeo had to have his cut tended too as part of his gameplan now has to be about not letting that cut get any worse. Taneyev was able to land more shots in the third round including more clinch attempts however he wasn't as successful as he would have liked to be with them. Both fighters stayed strong and continued to battle on the feet giving the fans a nice treat with the main event of this card! Taneyev was able to win the last round however it was not enough for 2 out of 3 of the judges who scored the fight in favor of Romeo 29:28 29:28 28:29. Romeo has now put together 4 wins in a row including 2 under his new organization while Taneyev has his impressive 6 fight win streak snapped with tonight's loss.

That will just about wrap up my review of a great night of fights. Tune in tomorrow when I bring you my review of UnderGround FC 98! Thank you and good night!
