Main event

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Galen Dall (ranked 20 p4p, 3 weight class) and Pekka Pera (ranked 139 p4p, 21 weight class). Dall kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Red - Already Over. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pera walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dall checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Pera closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dall to the mat! Dall manages to get full guard.
Dall has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Dall had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pera defends it easily.
Dall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Pera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
