We Start this night off with a Battle of Juggernauts at 265lbs!
"The Canadian Bad Boy" Bobby Benoit vs Micheal Mcdonald
"The Canadian Bad Boy" brings some strong tools to the Octagon tonight. He has a strong Boxing background and the KO resume to back that up! He also brings a strong collegiate wrestling pedigree and is no slouch on the ground as a result! Micheal Mcdonald brings Gold Gloves to the table tonight. Golden with many many blood stains, but they definitely used to be Golden . . . Mcdonald also bring excellent wrestling. These fighters will be fighting their mirror images. Who will bring his best tonight? THE BELL RINGS!!! Benoit thorws a jab that misses. And a right that smacks air too! Mcdonald counters and lands a hook to the body. The fighters circle! Mcdonald misses with a leg kick. Benoit drops a hard overhand right! And takes a counter to the nose for good measure! Mcdonald sneaks a hard right hand to Benoit's melon! Mcdonald lands a cross too! Mcdonald lunges forward with a Huge Uppercut! It grazes Benoit's chin and Benoit responds with a jab to Mikey's foreheard! Oh WOW! That opened Mcdonald up! He's bleeding! Mcdonald backs away and wipes the blood from his forehead. Benoit Pressing the Action! Benoit surges forward with a Massive Uppercut! Mcdonald drops like a sack of Unconscious Potatoes!!! "Fury" Tristin Shonuck vs Matt "Gonna Pump Ya!" Puempel
"Fury" brings just that to the Octagon tonight! He is a Master of Many Disciplines! His Boxing is Crisp, His Muay Thai is Slick, and he can wrestle with a Blue Belt holding up his shorts! Any fighter would be brave to step into the ring with Shonuck! Matt "Gonna Pump Ya!" Puempel has decided to answer that call for brave souls! Puempel's strength lies in his Wrestling, and that bread and butter is probably his best way to make a Victory Sandwich tonight! His Muay Thai is a good peanut butter, and his BJJ is banana worthy, but he needs some bacon! Also of note, he eats weird sandwiches! THE BELL RINGS!!! Puempel ducks down and tosses a hook that misses! Shonuck fakes a kick, and Puempel shoots for the takedown! Shonuck sprawls comfortably. He throws in a hook for good measure. Puempel feints and Scores a TAKEDOWN!!! Puempel is working in Shonuck's guard. Puempel scores some Ground N Pound!! Puempel tosses in an Elbow with that GNP for Free! Another Elbow, but this one misses and Shonuck uses that momentum to reverse and now he has Puempel in guard! Fury is looking to advance, but No Candy for him from Puempel! Shonuck drops back and is looking to grab a leg, Puempel simply refuses! The fighters are taking a breather and the Ref tells them to pick up the pace! Puempel is trying to escape and Shonuck goes Ankle-Hunting again! Puempel pulls Shonuck bank to guard. REF STAND-UP! Puempel tosses a big right hand that misses and shoots for a takedown, but Stuffed like a Teddy Bear! Shonuck whacks Puempel's ribs with a body kick! Shonuck scores with another cross to the body, Fury is really softening up Puempel's organs! Shonuck Pressing! He lunges with a left-ring combo! Puempel circles out! Puempel walks into a left hand, OUCH! Puempel has dropped his hands here, tired and inviting trouble, and OOOOOHHHH Shonuck lands a Spectacular Axe Kick!!! Puempel is out cold! Someone get him a pillow, because his night is OVER!!! Shonuck takes some time to thank his sponsor Crippler's Corner and of course, Jesus! No surprise there! Leon Bridges vs Dexter Morgan
Leon Bridges brings a Scrumtulescent 9-3 record to the Octagon tonight! He is a grinder and many of his W's come by way of decision! He is a Total Tactician! His hands are solid, and have turned out a few fighter's lights, but he is truly a Demon on the top or bottom if this goes to the mat! Dexter Morgan is a relative newcomer, but he brings the fire, and a Muay Thai game unequalled amongst his peers! He handles himself well on the ground as well, and if this fight Goes Down some fists will also rain down in that general direction! THE BELL RINGS!!! Leon comes out looking for a takedown! No surprise there! Morgan circles and gives a wink and whispering "not yet sunshine . . . " Leon shoots in again! Dexter sprawls and is pushed up against the cage! Leon lets go and backs off, only to shoot right back in and Leon gets the Trip Takedown into side control! Leon tries for a kimura but Dexter defends it well. Dexter defends some GnP. Leon lands a few sharp shots. Is he going to damage, or just looking for a window for a sub attempt? Dexter's face already looks frustrated. Leon works from the top with some more GnP! Dexter still minimizing damage here, but Leon is controlling! Leon wants to stay here, and his wish is his command! He is his own goddamn genie! That's convenient . . . Leon laying and praying, and also softening Dexter's ribs with repeated shots. WHOA Dexter bucks Leon off and now has Leon's back! We only have 30 seconds to go in the round! Can he get something done?!! Dexter throws a few shots, but Leon holds on well and the round ends. Leon dominated that round, let's see if they stick with a similar gameplan
2nd Round - Dexter is pressing forward, probably hoping to clinch up! He has Leon against the cage! Dexter controls the clinch and lands a Huge Knee! Apparently it was razor-sharp too and Leon is already bleeding! Dexter is controlling in the clinch! Leon is defending nicely! Dexter lands some knees to the body. Leon drops and pushes for a takedown, but Dexter's underhooks prevents any of that. Dexter lands an elbow and a Crunching Knee to Leon's ribcage! Dexter has a perfect Thai plumb set up, but Leon is arching nicely to keep away.Leon clasps his hands around Dexter's back and TAKEDOWN!!! Leon gets his wish again! Dexter has Leon in half guard! Leon starting up his ground and/or pound. We're already on the ground, so its mostly pound from here on out! Leon trying to pass, but Dexter negates that! We are at a stalemate, and the Ref agrees! REF STAND-UP! Dexter lands a heavy leg kick! Leon shoots and Dexter Sprawls and then Brawls! Good game plan by Morgan! Dexter throws a late leg kick! Leon lands a right hook to the body! Dexter steps forward and tosses a jab, but Leon ducks and drives through for a takedown! Dexter trying to reverse the position, but Leon controls! Leon just RAINING Ground and Pound!!! That is Vicious and Non-Delicious!!! Dexter is hanging on! But he is defending well and survives! The Bell Rings! That's two rounds in the books! Dexter took that round handedly so we are going to the Third and DECIDING ROUND!!!
3rd Round - Dexter lands a LOUD leg kick! Dexter looks to throw a combo, but Leon circles away! Dexter goes for the clinch, but Leon pushes away and Pops Dexter with a counter left!Dexter moves in but Leon open hand swats him in the temple! Dexter lands a leg kick! Leon shoots in and Dexter circles away. Leon shoots but Dexter sprawls and jams Leon's face into the canvas! Dexter gets it back to the feet and pushes into clinch! Dexter trying for some knees, and Leon defends well! Dexter lands and knee and Opens Up Leon's nose! That will hurt Leon's breathing! Leon tries to drop down and take this to the ground but Dexter keeps it standing! Dexter misses with a knee and Leon pushes away to Break Clinch! Leon loads up and shoots HARD and Get the Takedown into Full Mount! Leon postures and cracks Dexter with a few hard shots! Dexter is trying to advance, but Leon controls! More strike raining down and Dexter is not having a fun night here folks! We are into the final minute of this fight! Dexter is bucking trying to get Leon off him, but Leon holds steady and rains more GnP! Leon has his opponent held on the ground against the cage! A terrible position for Mr. Morgan! Leon is landing head punches at will! Dexter with a last ditch effort that is stymied and the final bell sounds! Let's go to the judges! By a Unanimous Score, our winner on all three judges cards by a 29-28 score, is Leon Bridges!!! Both fighters put on One Helluva Show tonight! The crowd is on its feet!
Next up we have our 4th fight of the night in the Light Heavyweigh Division! Let me tell you there is nothing "Light" about these Big Fellas!
Harry Pigeon vs Jimbo Slice
The lights drop down and the crowd roars. Hank Jr will do that to any crowd! A Country Boy Can Survive! But how will he do this evening? Harry Pigeon enters the Octagon with Hands of Stone and the Boxing pedigree to back it up! But he choose MMA over a WBA title shot! He is also a strong wrestler and has his bases covered! Jimbo Slice enters with a similar skill set! He has excellent Boxing and can Wrestle with any and all who come! But he only has one man set in his sights for a Showdown tonight! THE BELL RINGS!!! Both fighters feeling each other out in the opening minute! Both fighters punch air, waiting to see who will engage first? Harry lands a body kick! He then fakes low and throws an overhand right! Classic Harry! Harry again lands a strong right hand to Kimbo's forehead! Kimbo throws a looping hoops that just misses! Kimbo lands a body shot! Kimbo throws a jab down the pipeline and catches Harry! Harry stumbles back a bit! Maybe that will wake him up! Harry lands a jab to Kimbo's nose. He won't be pretty tomorrow, but he really never was so no concern there! Harry lands a left straight followed by a right hook! Kimbo has been cut! Not bad, but we have a long way to go here folks! Kimbo lands a body jab! Kimbo showing good Striking Defense here! Harry Shoots for a takedown! Kimbo sprawls well, but Harry keeps the pressure and pins Kimbo on the cage! Kimbo rotates and pushes away and out! Slice lands a jab and then a body cross! Harry feints and then drives a takedown! He has Kimbo's guard! Harry drops back for a leg, but Kimbo defends well. Harry trying to advance, Kimbo is holding him steady though. REF STAND-UP!!! Harry gets right back to work with Jab, Jab, Head Kick! Kimbo dodged the kick tries to a narrowly glancing body counter shot! Harry lands a Four Punch Combo! That's got him pushing, and Kimbo's eyes rolling back! The Bell Rings! Harry Pigeon owned that round, and the Cut Man is working on Kimbo's face. He should be fine, but doesn't want to take any more damage!
Round 2 - Harry misses with a head kick! Kimbo lands an uppercut square on Harry's jaw. He shakes the cobwebs a bit. Harry lands a hard jab! Eye-for-an-Eye this one is! Kimbo throws another body shot! Harry comes back with a right-left combo that lands! Kimbo bobs and lunges forward and lands an uppercut! Harry is hunting for a takedown, but Kimbo is spawling well. Kimbo lands a head shot! Harry backs away and regroups. Kimbo defends another takedown attempt well! Harry tosses again, but Kimbo lands a strong counter! Such Back and Forth! Kimbo lands a three-punch combo! And another, but Harry is keeping mobile! Harry lands a low kick! Harry throws a flurry of head shots and hits with the last one! Last minute of the round! Kimbo slaps Harry's ribs with a kick! Kimbo lands a three-punch combo! The crowd is back on its feat! This is War! THIS IS SPARTA!!! Harry throws a flurry! Kimbo counters and pushes back! Harry cracks on final leg kick and the round ends! That one was Too Close to Call!!!
Round 3 - Harry lands a leg kick and Kimbo smiles through his grimace. Kimbo lands a good body shot! Kimbo pushes forward but Harry defends well! Harry pops him with a jab!Harry throws another soft jab, and Kimbo lands a good counter right! Harry takes one right in the bread basket! That looked painful! Kimbo lands another shot, and another to the body! Harry shoots for a takedown but Kimbo sprawls and circles away. Harry lands a solid shot! Kimbo blocks a head kick and checks the follow-up leg kick. His leg is swelling up! That's gonna hurt tomorrow! The fighter exchange unsuccessfully! Harry goes for another takedown, but it is stuffed! Thankgiving is around the corner, perhaps Kimbo is practising his Turkey techniques? Both of these fighters are exhausted! Harry throws, kimbo dodges, Kimbo winds up, and Harry slips away! Kimbo lands a body shot. Kimbo misses with a body shot. Harry is still moving well enough! Kimbo slips away from a leg kick, and then a body kick too! Harry lands a huge overhand to Kimbos . . . shoulder? Well he rocked that shoulder! The crowd is Standing and Hollering for MORE!!! Harry shoots again! Kimbo holds on! Kimbo is picking up the pace!! Does he feel Urgency? He is the bloodier fighter, though Harry has a solid mouse growing under his right eye! Harry throws a few more leg kicks that are checked and then lunges for one final takedown to wrap this up. He is stuffed and Kimbo land an uppercut! Kimbo owned that final round for sure. Let's see what the Judges think! The scorecards are in and the WINNER by Unanimous Decision by a score of 29:28, HARRY PIGEON!!! Harry is still slipping on his T-Shirt and Hat from Crippler's Corner. He thanks his Sponsor and his fans and he is too out-of breath to say anything else!
And now we arrive at FINAL FIGHT of the evening, This fight is at Middleweight Title!!! It's been such a crazy evening, and we still have some Fireworks to finish this amazing card!
Kenny "Mysterion" McCormick vs "The Cunning" Nick Folignus
"Mysterion" comes into this bout as the prohibitive favourite! Few can equal him in any discipline in MMA! His Muay Thai is exceptional! His Boxing is Unparalleled! Even So, his Wrestling is Dominant and his BJJ is a sweet as it gets! Folignus brings some of the top BJJ in the world to the Octagon tonight and can hold his own on his feet, but he will be hoping for some luck here tonight we think! THE BELL RING!!! The Crowd is already on its feet in Antici . . . . . pation! Kenny lands a thudding leg kick! The crowd groans in appreciation! Kenny throw s a leg kick that misses Nick's front leg but tags his back leg! Kenny feints and drives a leg kick to his opponent's body! Kenny misses with another leg kick, but the follow right up sinking one DEEP into Nick's thigh! Nick is on the retreat already! Kenny lands a two-punch combo followed by a cross! He has ROCKED Nick!!! Kenny drops in an overhand right! Nick's legs are jello and he is stumbling backwards! Kenny presses forward and drops a HUGE Overhand Right! Folignus drops to the mat and Kenny swarms him! That's All She Wrote! And apparently what she wrote was Straight up Murder!!! Your Winner and STILL Champion Kenny "Mysterion" McCormick!!! The Fans are still on their feet cheering! Kenny steps to the mic and says he is going to "Conquer the World!" Who are we to argue? I'm certainly not going too! But What a Fight! and WHAT A NIGHT!!!
