 After six months of brutal knockouts, dramatic comebacks, and rising rivalries, Royal MMA’s Super Heavy Series is heading to its grand finale on July 19th and it's shaping up to be an all-out war.
In the main event, undefeated juggernaut “Kookaburra Laughs” King Kooljak (6-0) will face off against “De Timmerman” Bastiaan De Vries (6-1). The two first clashed in the group stage, where Kooljak handed De Vries his only loss of the tournament. Since then, both fighters have steamrolled through the competition, with all of their victories ending via KO or TKO. Fans can expect an aggressive, high-stakes opening round as these two knockout artists battle for the crown.
Also on the card, the third-place fight brings more heat with Gjergj “Skanderbeg” Kastrioti (5-1) squaring off against Kratos DaGod (5-2). These two last met four months ago in a brutal encounter that saw Kastrioti win by TKO, only to be hospitalised for 16 days due to the punishment he endured. With pride and redemption on the line, this rematch promises fireworks.
As the Super Heavy Series draws to a close, Royal MMA is already looking to the horizon. Coming soon: the Commonwealth Clash—a new, international creation tournament featuring talent from across the Commonwealth nations.
