BFC enters the month of septembr riding high from a month that has seen 6 title fights.Whilst there were sucsessful defences for champions Trinidad Suarez (MW), Cain Velasquez (hw) and Maraco "The Murderer" Draco (BW) new champions were crowned in Aima "Gonna Getcha" Hei (SHW), Og Kush (LHW) and most recently Timo Verhoostrepeatedly stuffed the takedowns of former welterweight king grease st-piere and worked a brutal clinch game to a unanimous decision.

On september 1st at the St Peterseberg Hard Knocks BFC 14 will see atleast one more new champion crowned as the lightweight tourny comes to its conclusion, competing to be crowned the promotions first 155lb champion are Wade Dew (3-0 MMA, 2-0 BFC) and  Daniel Garcilazo (2-0 MMA, 2-0 BFC).

Dew, a Hawaii based striker who earned his place in the tourney with a 17 second TKO win over Jack Wilson in his debut, went on to outbox Eric Brooks (3-1 MMA, 2-1 BFC), who has first round submission wins over 3 other tournament entrants, to a unanimous 30-27 decision in the first round of the tournament. In the semi finals Dew once again demonstrated great technical boxing and takedown defence, this time finishing Chris Karter (1-1 MMA, 1-1 BFC) by 3rd round TKO.

Garcilazo, a Rio based wrestlers and submission of the night recipient in his last outing, made his debut against Marvin Harris (0-2 MMA, 0-2 BFC) where he executed a ground and pound beat down to earn a 3rd round TKO stoppage. Garcilazo then booked his place in the final by overcoming Fabian Dominguez (1-2 MMA, 1-2 BFC) in a back and forth submission battle with a kimura that earned him a submission of the night bonus.

The card also sees a second title fight, this time in the 205lb division, as the falkland islands Og Kush (24-12 MMA, 3-1 BFC) makes his first title defense against 31 year old veteren Hank Henry (12-12 MMA, 1-1 BFC). Kush earned his title with a brilliant uppercut KO over former champ Quinetin Costa, four rounds into an epic battle that earned him both the belt and fight of the night honours. Henry who has won 6 of his last 8 outings recently had a 4 fight win streak broke by a brutal knee by Altaïr Ibn La Ahad at BFC publicity stunt 2.

Closing the nights event will be a 3 round scrap between heavyweight contenders Fabricio Werdum  (8-1 MMA, 1-1 BFC) and Jaidee Praphasirirat (4-1 MMA, 4-1 BFC). Werdum looks to rebound from a first round tko defeat to champion Velasquez in his last outing, before his title shot Werdum was undeafted with all 8 wins comming by submission, 6 of which in the very first round. Praphasirirat, known as the white lotus currently ride a 4 fight win streak, but Werdum represents a step up in competition to the top tier of the division, how will he handle the step?

Also on the main card former batamweight champion Norbert Schwager (6-5 MMA, 3-1 BFC) looks to rebound from the loss of his title to Draco against Russian grappler Ruslan Smirnov (4-1 MMA, 1-0 BFC) who recently made his promotional debut taking under two minutes to finish Matt Barr.
