                                                                                        PREVIEW

Hello again guys! how ya'll doing? man it's been quite a while since i have done a preview, but, then again, if there was ever an event made for a comeback of any sorts, be it for me or any of the fighters, fighting in this stacked card full of exciting matches, then let me tell you, that this was it. Because, this card does not feature 1, nor 2, but 3 title fights, all of which promises to be extremely brutal and very, very closely fought contests, which i'm sure the 2000 odd MMA fanatics in the (Hayashi's Lounge) will absolutely love and enjoy that evening. And therefore, without me wasting any more of your time, let's take a look at what we have in store for you in this mouth-watering event.

(UNDERCARD)

Now, undercard's are(let's be honest here), not the most watched, highly anticipated or viewed fights of the whole event. But, here in Gladius, there is no such thing as easy fights, because, every fighter in this organization, across all the divisions, are very closely matched in terms of their skill, and therefore, all that makes the difference sometimes is their management. As a result, there is never a dull moment here in Gladius, even on the undercards, and to prove my point, let's take a closer look at them.

1. Supachai Panya vs Andrew "Ewelsy" Ewels (WELTERWEIGHT BOUT [170 LBS])

So, to start off this fantastic event, we have got a matchup between a boxer and a grappler. Well, all i can say about this one is, i simply don't see this fight lasting the distance. As, either the boxer will [Ko] grappler, or, the grappler will submit the boxer, And so, my point is, this fight is going to be bonkers.

~ PREDICTION: ANDREW EWELS WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1)

2. Sandy "Cheeks" Chai vs Crazy Horse (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT [185 LBS])

Now this, was yet another one of those classic grappler vs striker matches which we all get to see and love on a daily basis. This is also a fight, which in the scheme of things, is a massive bout for both the fighters, because, these two are probably walking on the same rope, side by side, when their position in among the Middleweight contenders is taken into account. And therefore, both of them, will be desperate to win this fight, to further stretch their winning run and also leap above each other in the standings.

~ PREDICTION: SANDY CHAI WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 2)

3. "Se on Kyalla hyva" Jarna Kuiva vs Remy Gek (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT [185 LBS])

As far as this fight goes, it is a matchup between two hungry standup strikers (one a boxer, the other a Muay Thai artist), who are looking to prove to the owners of this organization, that they indeed are good enough to fight in this organization on the long run. Now both of them, have not really had the best of starts to their still young professional careers, and so, they will both be looking to win this fight, to get their respective careers back on track and hopefully step towards a brighter career in the future. In terms of this fight though, honestly, i can only see both of them letting loose from the get go, as a result of which, one of them will get knocked out.

~ PREDICTION: REMY GEK WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

4. Ahmed "1,2,3 Viva I'algerie" Zaitoun vs Thinking "Out" Loud (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [205 LBS])

If you ask me, i would strongly recommend the guys who are somewhat interested in the undercard, to watch this fight, because, on any normal fight card, this matchup could easily have been on the main card, But unlucky them two, this is no ordinary fight card, and so they have to be satisfied with a place on the undercard. Now, if you look at the fighting styles of these two, we can see that both of them are strikers, but then again, there is a difference in styles among two strikers too, as Zaimoud is a boxer and Loud is a Muay Thai artist, with Loud probably holding a slight advantage in overall standup skills, hence if you are gonna bet on someone, then i would say Loud is the safest bet. But hey, back on this fight itself, both of them are undefeated and full of confidence, therefore with a professional record of (2 wins 0 losses and 1 win 0 losses), respectively, they will both look to win this fight, to stretch their winning streak further, and get themselves in title contention asap.

~ PREDICTION: THINKING LOUD WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

5. Gavin "The Guvnor" Burns vs William McKean (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

So, the final fight in this undercard, takes us to a matchup between a (Muay Thai specialist who is a decent wrestler) vs (a wrestler who is a decent boxer). Sounds interesting right? Well, believe me when i say that, this is going to be one of the best fights of the evening, which can easily transform into the (FIGHT OF THE NIGHT OR THE KO OF THE NIGHT), because this fight contains two guys, who does not hold back anything in their arsenal, and likes to throw the kitchen sink at their opponents. So, if anything, i personally am expecting fireworks from these two warriors, as this fight also has the added importance of the winner probably fighting a top title contender in their next fight. And therefore, this is sure to be a cracker.

~ PREDICTION: WILLIAM McKEAN WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 1)

(MAIN CARD)

I really gotta say, that was one of the better undercards i have seen from any new and, up and coming organization for a long time. But now, let's focus on the main card, because, as i had said earlier, this is no ordinary main card from (Gladius), no, no, no! This, is a historic event, not only because it has 3 amazing title fights in store for us, but, it also has 2 additional bouts on top it, which are also expected to blow the minds of all the supporters present in the arena. So, do you guys wanna know exactly what is waiting for you in the main card of (Gladius 8)? yes? Alright, let's take a look at them.

6. Bale "Operator" Krueger vs Hakim "Hades" Harko (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

Man, what a difference a few days make, is all i can say for Kruegar to be honest. Anyways, i really think, this is going to be a battle of tactics more so than skills between the two fighters, because, these two are very, i mean very closely matched in terms of skillsets, therefore, i personally don't think there is a certain place where any one guy can take advantage of the other, so, this matchup, could easily be seen as the "Battle of the managers", and as a result i really would not wanna miss this fight. But for now though, let's take a closer look at the two guys who are going to go head to head in this fight..

Bale krueger! well, he probably is still cursing the face that by talking smack to his previous opponent, who is, the now undisputed Heavyweight champion, before their showdown in his previous fight, he had unknowingly fired up the champ, which resulted in him getting Ko'ed cold in under a minute, Lol. But hey, everyone has thier low points in their careers at least once, and therefore, since his one is most probably over and done with, he can now expect a brighter future with more ups and downs, i sincerely hope that, for his sake. And therefore, with a professional record of (4 wins 2 losses), he will be desoerate to win this fight, not only to get straight back in the title picture, but also to send a message to everyone, that he is not a quitter and one small blip is not enough for him to be disheartened.

His opponent Hakim Harko, is also a Muay thai striker, who is also a very good wrestler. Now, he too has had a very decent start to life, here in Gladius, and hence he has a professional record of (2 wins and 1 loss), O, and guess against who that loss came about, Yeah, the current champ Camara. He, may be very similar to his opponent in this fight, but their is indeed something, that sets him apart from the rest of the Heavyweights in here. And that is, his sheer aggression, which has resulted in him earning 2 (Fight OT Night) awards. So, all and all, this is going to be a belter of a contest. And therefore, he too will be looking to win this fight, so that he can get himself in the title picture asap.

~ PREDICTION: BALE KRUEGER WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

7. Keizo Kasai vs Two Moons (LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT [155 LBS])

This fight, needs no introduction or explanation really,as it is simply a battle between two of the best Lightweights, present in [Gladius] currently. But previews does not work like that, and therefore let's take a closer look at both the competitors in this bout..

                                  Keizo Kasai, is a boxer and a wrestler, who can also be called the "Unanimous decision king" of Gladius, Now, you may ask why? well, it's because, in his 3 professional fights so far as a professional, he has won all 3, but more importantly to prove my point, he has won all 3 via unanimous decision.And therefore, with a professional record of (3 wins 0 losses), he will look to desperately win this fight, to hopefully guarantee himself a title shot in his next fight, and also become the outright no #1 contender for the {vacant Lightweight title}

Now Just like his opponent,Two Moons is also a (boxer and a wrestler), who is undefeated in his short professional career so far. But, then again, he is probably the better standup fighter among the two battling it out in this bout, that is, if you simply look at the stats. But, to be honest, stats counts for little in a fight of this magnitude, and therefore just like his opponent, he will also look to win this fight, to secure himself a title shot in his next fight, and also become the legit best Lightweight in Gladius, at this present time.

~ PREDICTION: TWO MOONS WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

8. Dwayne "The Rock" Jackson vs Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT [205 LBS])

Oh man! Guys are you ready? we have finally arrived to the moment and the time for the first of 3 title fights tonight, that all you mma fanatics out here have been waiting for. So, why wait anymore? i think 7 fights were enough of a wait to be honest. Therefore, let's see what we have in store for you, in this fantastic title showdown between two of the best (205 ers), in Gladius currently.

Well, when you have a name like Dwayne, then you are only expected to do one thing and one thing only, that is, to destroy everyone in your path to success. But mind you, success for guys named dwayne, could really mean one thing really, that is, the title. And so, our very own Dwayne, is no different, he is an absolute beast of a man, who has literally, run through everyone in his path so far in his career. And therefore, after 4 consecutive 1st round stoppages [3 of them in Gladius], with a professional record of (4 wins and 0 losses), he will be absolutely desperate to win this title fight to not only prove to others, but more importantly, prove to himself, that he is indeed the best Light-Heavyweight in this organization.

As far as his opponent goes,Joaquin Guzman, just like Jackson, is also predominantly a boxer, but, he is more of a wrestler than a BJJ artist (Like jackson). Now when you look at his record at Gladius, there will be some people who will question, that why he is getting a title shot. But let's be real here, these 2 are the two most hyped guys across the entire Gladius (205 lbs) division, so in my view, both of them deserve a title shot. But anyways, coming back to the fight, it's really going to be a tough day in the office for Guzman, as i can't really see how he is ever going to win this fight. But hey, miracles are meant to happen. And therefore, with a professional record of (2 wins 0 losses) he will look to prove everyone doubting him, wrong, including me, and win this fight, to realise his childhood dream of finally lifting a title.

~ PREDICTION: DWAYNE JACKSON WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1) [NEW CHAMPION]

(CO-MAIN EVENT)

Man! sometimes, you just don't get a feel of time do ya? it just fizzes by. And you can se an example of that here too, to mee, it feels like this preview had just started, yet look where we are now, yeah, in the penultimate fight of the evening, and oh, it's not any ordinary fight either. No, no, no, this, is the second of the 3 title fights that we have for you today. So do you guys wanna know, more about our co-main event tonight, well, i'll give you guys a sneak peak anyways. Join me.

9. Naoki Marui vs Marcos Agripa (FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE BOUT [145 LBS])

Unlike the previous title fight, i don't think, even the most idiotic person would argue, that this is a title showdown, which is not fought between the two best fighters in the division. Because, these two are literally miles ahead of the chasing pack and are pretty much on their own, and therefore before we see who is the deserving champion among the two, let's take a look at what we can expect from this matchup.

So, Naoki, is a striker, who also has very decent wrestling skills when needed, but credit to him, he barely ever uses his wrestling against anyone , because, in his 3 fight professional career so far, he has a record of (3 wins 0 losses, with all 3 coming via 1st round stoppages, therefore, you know, his wrestling is not really called upon, to be used too much. But, this time, since his opponent is a grappler, i don't think he is even going to try and produce a takedown, as he would be much more comfortable by turning this bout into a boxing match. And therefore, he will be looking to win this fight, to first of all win the title, and then send the entire organization a clear message, that he is the best featherweight around here.

But, his opponent Marcos Agripa, might have a big say on that, cause Agripa is a grappler and arguably, the best submission artist in the (145 lbs) division, So, even if by mistake, he ends up taking you to the ground, then, it's most probably not even worth fighting anymore with him, as someway or the other, he is going to sneak in a submission, which is gonna catch you off guard, and hence make you submit, which has resulted in him winning 2 (Submission OT Night) awards in his time here. And therefore, in the same way, with a professional record of (3 wins 0 losses), he will look to win this fight, to finally get the thing that he has been dreaming about all his life, that being the title, and also show everyone that he is the guy to beat, in the featherweight division now.

~ PREDICTION: MARCOS AGRIPA WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1) [NEW CHAMPION]

(MAIN EVENT)

Ladies and gentlemen, the time for fun and games, is well and truly over and done with. because, next up, is a the fight you all have been waiting for, live from the (Hayashi's Lounge). It's time, for 5 rounds of main event action. So if you know what exactly is waiting for you in this main event fight, take a look below.

10. Mbaku "Man Ape" Camara vs Satan "Butt Slap" Nosferatu (HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE BOUT [265 LBS])

Oh my. Whoo! guys, you all ready for this? I can hear a lot of heck yeah's, so let's go.

The challenger, Nosferatu, is a Muay thai striker, who loves clinching a lot. That came out wrong. Lol. Anyways, he loves to stay close to his opponent, so that he could use his Muay thai striking, regularly and perfectly. But his biggest disadvantage would be his ground game, as he literally does not know the A,B,C,D of BJJ (although there is B,J and J here), but we can ignore that. He is also currently on a 4 fight win streak, in Gladius and therefore, with a professional record of (4 wins 1 loss), he will look to win this fight, so that he can win the title and after a lot of hyping himself up in the smack talk thread, show that he is indeed the baddest dude alive.

Now, as for the champion Camara, well, he is at a world of his own really. Because, the truth is, very few can challenge him when he takes you to the ground, and many have found that out the hard way, as he has a professional record of (5 wins 0 losses) [2-0 in Gladius], with all 5 fights coming via 1st round submissions. And therefore, although Nosferatu has been hyping himself up massively nowadays, it could be one way traffic if camara is successful in taking him down. Therefore, Camara would like to win this fight, so that he first of all, retains his title, and then once and for all cements his place as the greatest Heavyweight in Gladius ever.

~ PREDICTION: MBAKU CAMARA WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1) [RETAINS TITLE]

AND SO WITH THAT, WE HAVE COME TO THE END OF MOST PROBABLY THE GREATEST SHOW IN GLADIUS

FOR SOME TIME NOW, I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THE PREVIEW,                                                                                                                                    AND SO, UNTIL NEXT TIME, STAY SAFE AND HAVE A GREAT DAY.
