The upcoming event for CFC named CFC 5: Challengers is an interesting and very stacked card. Last week the up and coming organization CFC broke into the top 20 organizations list and it is because of cards like this that they are rising so quickly. We all have heard the news that Pierre St Georges is going to Headline CFC 6 but this CFC 5 card is a must watch. It features lots of young up and coming talent, and the winners in this card could get shiny new opportunities. Here are the previews for the big fights next week.

Murilo Mauricio Ninja DeSilva Vs Oleg Liguy

The card is stacked with talent so it’s hard to declare this the main event or the last fight of the evening, but either way this is a huge fight. It is also the debut for both fighters in the CFC. Looking at DaSilva’s stats he is on a combined 5 fight winning streak with other organizations and 4 of those 5 have been knockouts. He has real knockout power but do not be fooled, He looks to be equally talented or even better on the ground with that super human strength and  it showed in his first career fight when he won by an arm bar in the very first minute of his fight. Oleg Liguy has been in many fights over his career and has experience over DeSilva. He also has control on the ground game and will be looking to hold DeSilva on the floor for as long as he can to get the win.

Doc Thomas v Dzoko Dzoker

Redemption… The key word for this fight as Doc Thomas will take on Dzoko Dzoker in a 3 minute bout. Starting off with Doc Thomas. His last fight in CFC 3 against the face of the CFC Pierre St George He was knocked out Cold in his highly anticipated Title fight. For this fight the grizzled vet is looking to prove it was a fluke and work his way up for another opportunity. Standing at only 184 pounds this man has scary power for his size. If you received a fight offer to fight Doc Thomas I advise you politely decline because he is so many different elements to train for. He is very quick, he can hook you on the ground, and He can hit you with an unsuspecting flying kick/knee and he can do all those things on an elite level. Dzoko Dzoker is also a pretty aged veteran looking to upstart his career. He participated in the first ever CFC event and in his two fights with the CFC he has lost them. He has elite talent across the board aswell and these two fighters could put on the fight of the night… The winner would just has to want it better than the other.

Buck Rogers v Francis Begbie

This fight is a battle between two very young fighters who are higher up the card. Buck Rodgers fought another rookie in Vlakan Targa at CFC 1. Rodgers weakness looks to be on the ground but when on his feet he is a very smart and strategical kid who knocked his opponent out in his debut. For Francis Begbie this will be his first fight ever and It is on a fairly high stage. Not much is known about this kid, but you are reading from one of the best reporters in the game and I have went and scouted him personally at his camp. One thing I can say is this kid can knock somebody out with his technique with kicks and knees and with his hands. He is highly talented in muy Thai and boxing which is why he is a threat with either or. For these two, it will be very important fights for their careers.

Albert Einstein v Tschechov Emilienko

This fight made it onto my watch list because of the exciting youth of this fight. Let’s start off with Albert Einstein. He calls himself KillStien but I think the name Knockout Scientist will stick better because of what he did in his only fight in the Indies. He knocked his opponent out in 10 seconds flat with a punch and knee. What a unique way to knock someone out. This kid could be a huge upcoming star for the CFC and excellent brand. For Emilienko is a really young balanced fighter who will be able to tire you out on the ground and in the middle of the fight unexpectedly show strength and knock you out. He is really impressive because he is so young to be a fight manager and show experience to control a fight like that

I can’t wait to watch CFC 5 kick off on September 21st. This will event will be a diverse event featuring young and old talent and different styles of fighting. It is the definition of Mixed Martial Arts. Until next time guys!
