Brutal FC returns to the underground in St-Petersberg on friday 17th August, for BFC fight night 4: Hollinger vs Johnson, with a night of combat set to blow the roof of this small venue.

BFCs lightweight division is in its infancy; its been just a few months since the promotion scowered the world for 8 of the top young amatur fighters ready to begin their profesional careers, over recent events those 8 have whiteled themselves down to just two- Wade Dew and Daniel Garcilazo are set to square off on september 1st at BFC 14 for the inugreal 155lb championship. However the promotion has been busy behind the scenes recruiting talent to fill out the division once the tournament concludes. This Fight Night's main event will be the first high profile outing for non-tournament lightweights with the entrance of two American fighters who have each made a name for themselves fighting across the globe.

Helskini based Hollinger (7-2) currently rides a 4 fight win streak, a well rounded fighter who is as happy with strikes as he is with kimuras he's finished 5 foes within the first round. His opponent on the night will be 25 year old new yorker Michael Johnson (10-4), a 4 time fight of the night recipient who thanks to a solid chin has never been stopped by strikes. With each having vastly more experience than the young fighters in the tournament a strong performance from in this fight could propel either fighter right into the heart of the title picture.

The Co-Main Event will showcase two of the middle weight divisions top strikers- Spannish knock out artist Miguel Mallorca (19-11 MMA, 0-1 BFC) brings a wide variety of strikes to the cage having previously felled oponents with knees and spinning backfists aswell as more conventional strikes on route to 10 knockout finishes- 5 of which have earned him KO of the night honours. He faces Helsinki based veteran He Man (20-8-1 MMA, 0-0 BFC) who joins the promotion on a 3 fight win streak- his latest win, a decision victory over King Fists, earned him the second fight of the night award of his career to date. With fans consensus rankings putting both fighters in the divisons top 10, each fighter knows that a strong win puncuated with a highlight reel knockout could be the begining of a campaign towards current middleweight top dog Trinidad Suarez (8-2 MMA, 3-0 BFC)

The main card is opened by two recent welterweight title contenders in Urie Sergeyev (5-2 MMA, 3-1 BFC) and Jon Moti (3-3 MMA, 1-1 BFC). Each man's sole loss in BFC is at the hands of current welterweight champ Grease St-Piere. Sergeyev was the promotions first 170lb champion, submiting Bruce Banner by arm bar at BFC 3 for the vacant belt before sucumbing by the same submision hold to St-Piere in his first defence at BFC's first publicity stunt event. Moti's career in the promotion started with a first round triangle victory over LaChron Herb that earned him a shot at St-Piere, where his grappling came up short against his fellow BJJ brown belt and he was caught in a knee bar mid way threw the third stanza. It's still to be seen wether this will shake Moti's confidence in his ground game or wether he will go to the ground with Sergeyev- both of whos losses are by arm bar.

Following that the cage will shake as two of the biggest fighters in MMA go at it, former 3 time Russian Combat superheavyweight champion Lord Vader (23-14-2 MMA) steps into the BFC promotion for the first time and will test his metal against former BFC superheavyweight champion Serg Ramirez (16-11 MMA, 2-1 BFC). Ramirez, will be returning to the cage for the first time since losing his belt to Hanibal Lectur at BFC 10 and looking to return to winning ways. Whilst he undoubetly posses the power to stop Vader, all 16 of his wins being by knock out, his conditioning may be an issue as he has never won a fight that has gone longer than the first round. Vader who slumped to a 5 fight losing streak in late 2011 early 2012 is 2 fights into a comeback and his been mixing his game up with a submision of the night worthy kimura and a TKO finish back to back.

Filling up the main card is a heavyweight fight between unbeaten 21 year old russian top team prospect Eduard Syroviy (6-0 MMA, 3-0 BFC) and 30 year old Finn Goran Schwarzeneg (9-36-1 MMA, 0-4 BFC). Goran is on a 5 fight losing streak and has won just 2 of his last 15 has been widley criticised by many internet forum users as being passed his best, where as none of Syroviy's past opponents have made it passed the first minute before being knocked out. Syroviy will be looking to add another high profile scalp to his collection but his biggest enemy may be complacency as Schwarzeneg seeks to prove the value of experience against a young challenger who has just 3 minutes and 55 seconds of ring time clocked up in his profesional career to date.
