IMMA returns to Suomi International in Helsinki for IMMA 76: Pyle vs. Scott. The PPV event will feature ten fights headlined by a title fight with the IMMA’s world welterweight championship on the line. 20 of the best fighters on the face of the earth today will do battle in another chapter of the IMMA BEAT YOUR ASS FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP.

The main card will kick off on the 8th of August with a welterweight bout between “Domino” Dominick Rivaldi (16-4-0) and “The Sandman” Holden Gracie (11-1-1). Both fighters are coming off impressive wins against Mr Brown and Vlad The Impaler, respectively. Rivaldi, one of the best strikers at 170 today, has 10 stoppages to his name. The 30 year old will no doubt look to throw his hat into title chase with a win over a very dangerous opponent in Holden Gracie. Gracie is 5 years Rivaldi’s younger but just as accomplished, having tasted defeat only once in his fledgling career. He’s looking to show that he is ready for prime time. With two hungry fighters looking to improve their stock stepping into the cage, all signs point to fireworks.

Following that is a Light Heavyweight bout between Rodney Holmes (18-5-1) and Peter Smith (26-13-0). A former Sabotage Combat League champion and still unbeaten in his IMMA career, Holmes is a heavy handed fighter with a granite chin and defensive ability to boot, having never been finished in his career. Surely though Peter Smith will be there to test his chin. A grizzled veteran about to compete in his 40th career fight, Smith has 18 (T)KOs, the most recent being his violent finish of Johnny Chimpo to end a two fight slide. Having gotten back onto the winning side of things, the 30 year old knockout artist is looking to build towards a run in the 205 division.

The next fight will be a welterweight contest pitting “Napalm Mecca” Mahmoud Denjat (24-7-0) against “Cursed” Sinuhe Egyptian (27-8-2). Victorious in his IMMA debut against Johann Joensen, Denjat wowed the crowd with a wild display of ground and pound en route to a knockout victory. He’ll have his hands full in his second fight against Egyptian, who is making his IMMA debut. With 37 fights to his name and a long career, “Cursed” is looking to make an immediate impact.

The co-main event for this event is a middleweight bout that will see Igor “pure evil” Glozman (29-11-0) face Abe Goldman (23-5-0) in a battle of Israelis. Igor is arguably one of the hardest hitters in the sport today, with 25 (T)KO victories on his record. He’s looking to rebound from a submission loss to one of tonight’s main eventer, Gomer Pyle. Standing across from him is a knockout artist in his own right- Abe Goldman, who has finished 82.61% of his victories. He’s making his IMMA debut after a tear in Genesis and wants to send an early message to the 185 division.

The main event of the night features “General” Gomer Pyle (18-5-1) facing Maximus Scott (24-5-0) with the IMMA World Welterweight Championship on the line. Defending champion Pyle at age 26 has reached the top of the MMA world, being considered one of the top 20 fighters on the planet today and top 5 in his weight class. Having just come off of wins against Olli Jokinen and Igor Glozman, he is looking to add to his young career with a fight against powerful striker Maximus Scott. With 12 (T)KOs on his record, Maximus has finished every one of his IMMA fights by stoppage. All signs point to fireworks in this title fight.
