Mayweather Vs McGregor- what’s on the cards?

Video article by Mike Tycoon

With August 26th fast approaching, it’s not just the weather heating up, but the excitement buzzing around the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor. McGregor is a favourite in the MMA scene, entering into his career in 2008 and with spectacular wins such as the UFC Featherweight Championship in 2012 at UFC 194, in only 13 seconds via knockout. Mayweather is also a spectacularly challenging competitor, winning every title he’s competed for professionally without ever being defeated. If there has ever been a match that you need to bet on, this is it! If you decide to try Betting on Mayweather V McGregor you should check out the great range of free bets and odds on offer!

The Who is Who?

McGregor is a fantastic MMA fighter but Mayweather has got an unmarked record in boxing. This could well give him an edge, given that McGregor’s facing a new kind of fighting which he hasn’t tackled before when it comes to MMA. This being said, Mayweather’s come out of retirement for this fight so it might be a tough one for him too – he’s been fighting less regularly, which might give McGregor the advantage to potentially topple the champion. Given that Mayweather was ranked top Boxer pound for pound by ESPN in 2016, and has the most accurate punches recorded, this is going to be a difficult challenge. McGregor’s a force to be reckoned with though, so with the fight edging closer every day, the odds get closer in his favour.

What are the odds?

Many people are hoping to make it big from this fight, and with good reason – it’s been anticipated for nearly a year now and the bookies have been keeping an eye on this for the whole time. As expected, the odds are still in Mayweather’s favour however with the odds at 1/8 with victory to him. McGregor, a contender with high hopes, still has the odds against him at 9/2 however. The chance of a draw is even more unlikely, with the odds sitting at 33/1. Even though McGregor has shone in MMA, the question of how he’ll stand up against Mayweather in boxing is a big one. This is Mayweather’s arena, and McGregor’s not used to fighting in boxing the way he is in MMA – the outcome remains to be seen on the 26th of August at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Give it a go!

If you have never been into this scene before, or you have only ever been into one particular type of fight, then we highly recommend that you get involved with this fight. Not only is it going to be one of the most intense fights in fighting history but it is stirring up some of the most exciting odds imaginable. Even if you have never dabbled in betting before, this fight is most definitely the place to start!
