In the Main event, the champion “Panthera Onca” Joaozinho Gurgel will defend his belt for the first time against the experienced “General” Maximus Meridius. Gurgel has only two fights in his MMA career, but both was very expressive wins. He likes the stand up fight, especially boxing, but he also has good muay thai skills. In the other hand, Meridius has an extensive curriculum of 31 fights, with a 18-13-0 record. He’s an intelligent and heavy handed fighter, which prefers the muay thai fight, with high kicks in stand up and a knees in the clinch, but he also knows how to play in the ground. Gurgel has a granite chin and never goes to the ground in his fights, so I think this may be the key for a possible victory from Meridius. But with a better wrestling, I'm sure Gurgel won't go down easily. With these factors, I'm sure we'll see two warriors in an explosive match for the 205 lbs title!
185 lbs 3 Jordan Statham v Randjob Jiu Jitsu
In the Co-Main event, Jordan Statham will try to increase his 6-2-0 record against the Randjob Jiu Jitsu, who tries the win to get more victories than losses and get a record better than 4-4-0. Statham is a typical wrestler, who always tries to go in the top position of the ground and get a KO with his powerful strikes, taking advantage of his great cardio and strength to get the takedowns a lot of times. Jiu Jitsu is a brown belt in BJJ and, like a typical one, always wants to go to the ground and submit their opponent. He lost 3 of his 4 fights in decision, and I don't think this final will go to the final time. So, it's a great chance for him, because Jordan lost his only fight against a brown belt in BJJ. Well, dudes, there is no doubts this fight will be a massacre in the ground, don't lose it!
