Author:War Pig

Primal Combat returns the Hard Knocks arena in New York for Primal 11 on Saturday the 20th of February in what promises to be the most stacked card yet, with two title fights and a barrage of other up and coming contenders, the night promises to deliver on excitement and most importantly, violence.

Main Event
Featherweight Championship
Jacoby Nichalos vs Brandon Longson

The nights main event sees two of the stalwarts in the featherweight division collide to decide the innaugral featherweight champion in a matchup that pits grappler against striker.

Jacoby Nichalos is riding high on a four fight streak to begin his career, with all 4 wins coming by way of TKO finish, albeit in a now defunct organisation, DFC where he held the title before its ultimate demise. Nichalos will be looking to pepper Longson with strikes early to try and take the fighting spirit out of him and secure the strap for his trophy cabinet.

Brandon Longson comes into the fight coming off a shock win over the highly touted prospect, David Yung in the first round in his last outting. Longson will be battling some mental demons coming into this fight with rumors circling that his morale has dropped off and he is fighting a severe lack of confidence coming into the fight, the signs are not looking good and if he doesn't raise his chin it's unlikely they will be raising his hand at the end.

Co-Main Event
Welterweight Championship
Buri Bokh vs JoJo Monsoon

The night continues to roll on when the first of two title fights takes place inside the Primal cage, in a bout that sees two undefeated knock out machines collide in search for the position at the top of the table in the stacked welterweight division.

Buri Bokh is arguably one of the most popular fighters on the Primal roster and it's no surprise he's one of the highest rated either, rampaging through his first 6 fights with big finishes inside the first round, the Mongolian national wrestling champion will be looking to make short work of Monsoon on Saturday night too.

JoJo Monsoon is looking very confident coming into this fight, with a strong wrestling base and destructive knockout power, this fight is a perfect matchup for him. Monsoon will be looking to avoid the clinch at all costs, however his wrestling should hold up well enough to not be too threatened by Bokh's expertise and power, expect Monsoon to unload from the outside with absolute fast balls to try and starch the Mongolian native and keep the belt in America.
