Divock "Belgian Beast" Origi

I have been making steady progress and that is thanks to the two great gyms that I am training in. I started my training in Bjorn's Elite Team, but switched over to River's Edge Gym as there are some great training partners over there for me and Bjorn's gym was getting a little too crowded. Not many people knew about this switch, so that allowed me to train in the shadows of the spotlights. The media wasn't there during training as they had no clue where to find me. That was a nice change as it allows me to really focus and improve as a martial artist and a human being. By speaking with the owner of the gym, Joe River, I learn more about life day by day and he really is like a father to me. I love being here and couldn't wish for a better place to train. I took on a lot of opponents in the early stages of my career and that has slowed down my progress as a fighter, but skyrocketed my fame. I love fighting , so I would love to be in the octagon to fight every week, but I know that is not a smart thing to do if I ever want to become a legend. I train twice a day very hard and the hard work is paying off. I still have a lot to improve on, but that is no problem. I have time on my side as I am only 22 years old. Everyone says that the early signs are promising, so all I have to do is to stay healthy, go to the gym 12 times a week. There is a saying that goes like this : ' Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard. '  

I couldn't agree more, but I rather like to say : ' If talent works hard, nobody beats him! '. I consider myself a rough diamond. The diamond is there already, but the edges need to be sharpened. Once that is done, I will shine even brighter.
