Main Event: Rhust vs Dundee (Welterweight Championship)
Undisputed Welterweight Champion Liyak Rhust defended his most prized possession against the previously unbeaten Bruce Dundee.

This headlining bout marked Rhusts second defence of his title, cementing his name as one of VCCs all-time greats. Rhust has racked up an impressive five Vanquish Combat Club wins since his loss on debut in VCC 3.

Rhust dominated the fight against the home grown Australian hero, Bruce Dundee, successfully taking the fight to the ground numerous times throughout the fight. Whilst on the ground Rhust was able to land tremendous damage via an impressive array of ground and pound strikes.

As the fight progressed Dundee became more and more inhibited by fatigue therefore Rhust found it increasingly less difficult to bring him down to the mat. Here he was able to inflict maximum damage on his worn down opponent. Ultimately meaning the scorecard was weighted, unarguably, in his favour - claiming a unanimous decision win.

Co Main Event: Hardenov vc Gatto

Hardenov was fighting for a second successive week following his victory on VCC debut in last weeks event. For Gatto this was his fourth VCC fight, coming in off the back of a two fight win streak.

The bout started well for Gatto landing a clean shot instantly However this success was not to last. Following this early success Gatto was unable to land one more strike before Hardenov knocked him flat on his back less than one minute into the fight, with a hard hook to the temple.

Hardenov followed this clean shot with a tirade of strikes on his heavily dazed opponent, before the referee jumped in to save Gatto from serious injury.

Pike Biscuits vs Alfred Jarry

This was the third of three fights from the newly formed 135lbs division, comprising of two of the divisions strongest fighters. The winner of this fight was sure to announce themselves as one of the favourites to win the ongoing bantamweight championship competition.

As it transpired this was one of three sub one minute fights from the nights card. It took Biscuits just 31 seconds to knock out his adversary through a storm of smoothly delivered punch combinations.

On winning this fight, Pike placed himself as the organisations new favourite for the Bantamweight title, however there is still a way to go with a number of fighters right on his tail will be fighting in this weeks VCC21 event.

Rangi Smith vs Ronan Gunner

Gunner came into the fight looking to recover some of his dignity following a loss on debut in is previous fight. Hoping to utilise his excellent boxing prowess to finish his opponent who possesses strong BJJ before the fight went down. However this was not to be. Smith entered the cage vastly more experienced bringing with him a Good chin and a solid boxing background.

Just five seconds into the fight, it was over. Gunner out cold on the cage floor following a heavy handed combination from Rangi Smith. Smith was awarded KO of the night for this single blistering combination. Brutal!
