Middleweight Championship

(Champ) Max Casacci vs. (5.) Jack Chambers

MW champion Max Casacci is back after to back finishes over DFC Hall of famer and long time middleweight Joe Pae, and Casacci is now ready to turn another page in his career as he defends his belt for 2nd time. Casacci is really the kind of fighter that grew inside the DFC cage. Casacci has never had fight outside DFC and now at the age of 22 he is the champion of the organization. Casacci and Chambers faces eachothers for the 2nd time in their careers. First fight took place at Destiny 45. The fight ended in 2nd round when Casacci landed devastating head kick and followed by overhand right that droped Chambers like a sack of potatoes. Anyway that fight is in the history books and its chance for Chambers to get his paypack. The fight is very evenly matched. Their stand up is pretty even but Casacci should be better wrestler and Chambers better at BJJ. It's pretty hard to predict where this fight gonna take place.

Casacci was ultra confident when he was asked bout the rematch:

"Unless Chambers grows a 3rd arm and a 3rd leg, he won't do any better than in our first fight"

Jack Chambers is coming from two impressive victories after losing to Casacci. At Destiny 50 he stopped Praying Mantis via 2nd round tko and in Destiny Tuesday 2 he earned Knockout of the Night when he finished Uchiha Sasuke in just 32 seconds. That victory solified the 2nd title shot in his career. His first shot was at Destiny 38, but that time Joe Pae was too much to handle. Chambers is 29-years old so if he wants to become champion, the time is now. Physically these two are almost mirror images Chambers is just 2cm taller and they both walk around 202lbs. Can Chambers use his expectional muay thai and superior BJJ to become 3rd MW champion in history of DFC? or will Casacci continue his reign as the champion?

Bantamweight

(1.) Kenshin Yamamoto vs. (10.) Bagong Buhay

The co-main event includes two tough middleweights. The former 2 time bantamweight champion Kenshin "Kid" Yamamoto is one of the legends in DFC. Yamamoto returns to cage this saturday after back to back loses against Darius Kasparaitis. Darius Kasparaitis decided to vacant the belt after his latest title defence, leaving door open to two fighters to get the belt. Fourie Du Preez has already been set to fight for vacant belt and his opponent will be decided right here in this match. So if Yamamoto gets past Buhay, he would get chance to get the belt back and become 3 time champion. Everyone knows what we can expect from "Kid"; amazing BJJ and strong wrestling, but Buhay is build pretty much the same way. These two face each others in Destiny 27 and went full 5 rounds and Yamamoto won via unanimous decision. The interesting thing in that fight is that it was was only time Yamamoto didn't finish his opponent in succesful title defence.

Bagong Buhay is also coming from 2 back to back losses against Jose Torres and Mark Bariga. Buhay has now huge opportunity to erase those defeats from peoples memory and gain title shot by winning number 1. ranked Yamamoto. 23-year old Buhay is still young and evolving when at the same time Yamamoto is 31-years old and probably doesnt too many years left in his prime. Buhay should also have better stand up game than Yamamoto and that is something he really needs to use if he wants to get the W. Even though Bahoy is ground specialist he is facing pure ground specialist so keep the fight on the feet with his respectable boxing could be the key for victory.
