This week on tycoon times highlight reel we have 25 year old Luther Lamel fighting out of Valhalla New York.

With a record of 1-0 and a early TKO finish in that debut fight, the fans who have bought tickets to see his next fight against David Jamieson on the 18th of May will surely be in for a treat.

We decided to catch up with "Double L" Luther to get an insight into the young talent and find out how his training camp is going,

So Luther have you been training any differently for this battle compared to the training camp that you completed for your debut?

Honestly its been very similar because there is no hiding the fact that i have an extensive amateur boxing background and that i am much more comfortable on my feet as opposed to on the ground, i've been training and improving my takedown defense and defensive grappling to avoid being put in a situation that i'm not comfortable i guess.

How did you get into MMA?

Well i was an amateur boxer for years and i loved it and one day Caleb Smith turned up at my gym for a promo event, was impressed by what he saw and offered me a contract to become one of his fighters, when you get an oppurtunity like that you just don't even dare to turn it down.

Ofcourse,What are your goals in MMA?

I aspire to fight in the best orgs worldwide, Syn,Gamma all of them , i aspire to be known amongst names such as Tonal,Glory,Jigoro Kane etc.

One last thing before we wrap this up then, any last words for the fans and your opponent pre event?

Simply do not blink, i'm going to knock this clown's teeth so far down his throat that he has to stick a toothbrush up his arse in order to clean his teeth in the morning.

This will be the start of my mma career and you will all get to witness it, this weekend, only with Valhalla
