Heavyweight Championship

(Champ) Vincent Mars vs. (3.) Jack Hollow

Heavyweight king Vincent Mars is back to action as he faces Jack Hollow. Vincent is defending his belt for 3rd time now. Mars is coming from first round TKO victory against Kelly Olynyk. Mars and Hollow will face eachothers for the 2nd time. First fight took place at Destiny 34 and Mars took the W via first round knockout of the night performance. Mars is 11cm taller than the challenger and he should have edge on the feet so Vincent's reach advantage might be big factor in this fight. Vincent needs to avoid the takedowns as much as he can because he is facing BJJ black belt even tho Hollow has zero submissions in his 5 fight MMA career.

Jack Hollow is 2 days away from the biggest fight of his career. This will be 1st title fight of his career, but he has been very impressive on his road to this fight. 22 year old canadian is 4-1 in DFC and he is coming from 2 wins. First one was knockout of the night stoppage against DFC veteran Felippe Francisco and TKO victory over Jakub Ketrzynski. Hollow has been delivering knock outs again and again, but most of his training partners and coaches has been saying that the best aspect of his game is yet to be show. The BJJ black belt has zero submission wins and thats pretty odd. That is also very dangerous to his opponents because every single one of them knows that there is a hidden weapon inside that body. Will Hollow try to get his first submission victory or will he just stick on knocking guys senseless.

Both fighters wanted to focus on the fight and didn't want to share their thoughts about the fight.

Welterweight Championship

(Champ) John Dux vs. (2.) Dav Rolling

Undeafeated DFC welterweight champion John Dux is defending his belt for the 3rd time this saturday. Remarkable boxer and brown belt BJJ artist is on 5-0 in DFC and he is coming from first round TKO victory over Jay Yap. Just like in HW title fight these fighters have also fought against eachothers before and that fight took also place in Destiny 34  where Dux got 2nd round TKO victory, but the interesting thing about that fight is that Rolling actually won the 1st round of the fight. It's very hard to say where this fight gonna take place because they are both so well rounded and dont really have weaknesses.

DFC president praised the champ earlier this week:

"Dux is one of the guys who have really grew inside the DFC cage. It's crazy that the kid has 5 fight in his career and he is already defending the belt for the 3rd time. I really think John has bright future and he could be one of the guys that keep the belt for the long time. Don't get me wrong I think this is very tough match for John and Rolling has all the tools to become the new king of the hill."

21-year old frenchman Dav Rolling earned his spot as a top contender after finishing his last 2 opponent via 1st round TKO's. Rolling is good friend and teammate of the heavyweight champion Vincent Mars so he is coming from real championship quality camp. Rolling has now biggest fight of his career and huge opportunity to take the belt to France. The freak thing about this fight is that Rolling will be 23cm shorter than the champion, so if u see landed headkick by Rolling donate him a dollar or two!

Few funny facts of the 2 title fights in this event:

-Mars and Dux both defending their belts for the 3rd time

-Mars vs. Hollow and Dux vs. Rolling both faced eachothers for the first time at Destiny 34.

-Mars and Rolling has same manager and Dux and Hollow has same manager.

Middleweight

(3.) Odin Tualasamony vs. (4.) Kazumi Okamura

Odin "Dom" Tualasamony is coming from dissapointing loss to the champion Joe Pae in their rematch. Odin is now back in business and ready to make his way back to the top. Odin is looking to Kazumi's 2 fight win streak. At this point you probably already guessed that they have fought against eachothers before, but this fight took place at Destiny 28. It was Tualasamony's DFC debut and he knee'd his way to victory in very first round. This will be battle of 2 muay thai specialists so maybe we will see a clinchwar or will the secondary skills be the X factor.

Kazumi "DOA" Okamura is on 2 fight win streak and victory over Odin would probably grant him a title shot. Kazumi has been looking like a killer lately with two back-to-back brutal KO's. 26-year old japanese will enter the DFC cage for the 7th time this saturday and he currently has 4-2 record inside the organization. Okamura haven't got his chance to fight for a title yet so this is really the chance of his life.
