  We will be coming to you live on Friday for our next Honor Fighting Championship event instead of Saturday. It is an action packed show as we will have two big title fights one at bantamweight and the other will be at light heavyweight. We also will have a massive clash at welterweight which should determine Rock Lee’s next opponent for the Welterweight Title. We will have a few other big time fights and we will take a look at each and every one of them. I invite all of you to drop by a Meet the Future retailer to pick up all of your Honor Fighting Championship merchandise. Also if you are a gambling type of person like I am please drop by In The Red Sportsbook which will have odds on most if not all of the fights for this event.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

King Pin (0-2) {0-1} versus Sun "Kakarot" Wukong (3-1) {1-0}

When Pin made his debut to Honor Fighting Championship he was dominated in the clinch. The boxer had a lot of trouble dealing with the clinch and he seemed as though he just couldn’t get anything going. In his first fight he proved that he had good cardio as he went the distance but he did take a loss. For Pin to pick up a win in this fight he will need to prevent any take downs from Wukong. Sun Wukong is a wrestler who loves the ground and pound. The only fight Sun lot was to Gabriel Douglas who was able to stop the take downs and out point Wukong. Obviously Wukong will look to get the early take down and pound Pin out. I think Sun Wukong will pull this out and win by TKO in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

"WEAPON X" Jason Prolight (2-0) {0-0} versus Junior "The Red Pitt" Flores (2-1) {1-1}

Prolight will want to make some big time noise with his debut to HFC. He is a wrestler and a submission artist, and he has won both of his fights by submission and both of those fights came to an end in the first round. The brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will need to get this fight to the ground since he will has such an advantage. Where Flores has a tremendous advantage will be in the stand up. Flores is a gifted boxer with a little ground game to go with, but he will need to only focus on the stand up in this one. If Flores can keep this fight standing he should be able to put Prolight out quickly. I don’t think that will happen and I got Prolight to win by submission in the first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Kevin "GroundnPound" Coonaments (3-5) {0-3} versus Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya (5-3) {2-1}

Coonaments won his first three fights via submission but he has fallen hard dropping his last five fights. I don’t see how he can recover with this matchup considering he does not have a huge advantage on the ground and that is his specialty. Not only is that working against him but also Oscralo De Santiuya has knocked him out once before. De Santiuya completely dominated their last fight not allowing Coonaments to land anything including a takedown. In every aspect of the very short fight Oscralo was step faster and two moves ahead of Coonaments. I see this fight going the same way it did before with a first round knockout victory for Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Dave "D" Davisdon (4-5) {1-1} versus Greg Roddy (1-2) {1-1}

Davisdon could be in big trouble if he cannot get Roddy off his feet. Dave may not be as good of a wrestler as Greg so that will make the task of getting a takedown much more difficult. If he can get the fight to the floor Davisdon should be able to take over the fight. Roddy will have a massive advantage in the standup coming into this one. Do not let the one and two record fool you this man has power. He just needs to learn how to adapt a little more so he does not get over exposed like he did in his first two fights. This will not be an easy fight to pick because the winner will be determined by where the fight takes place. I think Roddy will be able to keep the fight standing and win this by knockout in the mid to late first round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Cullen Bohannan (1-1) {1-1} versus Freddy Lee (2-2) {1-2}

The wrestler and boxer Cullen Bohannan must be happy that he is not fighting Tim Tupy. His only two fights where against the same person Tupy in which he lost a close split decision and then avenged the loss by winning with a head kick in the first round. He will look to use his wrestling to stay off the ground and then brutalize Lee in this fight. In Lee’s four fights he has proven that he can finish and that he can be finished as his two wins came via submission and his two losses came by early TKO. If he takes down Bohannan early I don’t think Cullen can survive but if he can’t we have seen the results with two losses in less than a minute. I am a big fan of the very young black belt but I think Cullen Bohannan will swarm Lee with strikes and get the first round TKO victory.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Nissan "Gtr" Fairtex (2-2) {1-2} defeats Investitor "Cujo" Gradnje (5-0) {3-0}

Nissan seems that come hell or high water his fights are going end very quickly. The longest of his four fights went all the way to the two thirty eight mark of the first round. He has been submitted and knocked out in his two losses but he also has two wins by knockout. He is obviously going to want to keep this fight standing and dispose of Gradnje with haste. Gradnje is a submission specialist who just loves to show off his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu skills. All five of his fights have come to an end via submission and he was on the winning side of all of them. He will look to continue to climb the ranks of the light heavyweight division with a submission win of Fairtex. I foresee Gradnje getting the early takedown and submission victory within three minutes of the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Cap Roundtree (5-2) {0-0} versus Dario "The Killer" Silva (3-1) {2-1}

Roundtree started off his career with a four fight win streak and it seemed he had the world in the palm of his hand. Things have taken a turn for the worse lately as he has won just one of his last two fights. This will be his Honor Fighting Championship debut and he wants to get back on track of winning. It may be difficult for him to do that in this one since his opponent is a better striker and that is Roundtree’s bread and butter. Silva will be looking to rebound from his first loss which came by submission in a grueling fight. Silva was seconds away from possibly becoming the middleweight champion before he was forced to tap out do to an armbar. He is going to look to wrap his huge arms around Cap Roundtree and destroy him in the clinch. I am not sold he will be able to do that enough and I also feel this will be a closely contested striking war. I think if Roundtree alters his game plan a bit and goes for some ground and pound he will win easily but if he stands which I think he will then I got Silva to win by decision.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Title Fight (135lbs)

Ethan "Captain Insaneo" Harris (7-2-1) {2-0-0} versus Gabriel "DaBeast" Douglas (4-1) {3-0}

The Champion has terrorized his opponents. In his seven wins one came by decision three have come by TKO referee stoppage and the other three by TKO cut. Harris knows how to bust his opponents up and trust me you become a different kind of fighter once the blood starts to flow. Harris will look to clinch and start throwing elbows looking to brutalize and cut Douglas. Douglas shocked the world in his last fight not because he got the win, but because he was able to finish his opponent. That was his first career finish and it came at the half way mark of the fight. Douglas has been wonderful at out striking his opponents and out pointing the opposition but now that he has proven he can finish he might just be the most dangerous man at bantamweight in Honor Fighting Championship. This fight can go either way and it is a very difficult fight to predict, but I am going with the underdog Gabriel Douglas to win by decision at the end of the five round war.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Title Fight (205lbs)

Diego Russell (8-4-1) {2-0-1} versus Khru "Big Buddah" Maokhamphiou (4-0-1) {0-0-1}

This has to be the highest anticipated rematch in the young history of Honor Fighting Championship. In their first fight all three judges scored the first two rounds for Big Buddah ten to eight much to my chagrin. Two reasons I was not happy with the first two round, number I picked Russell to win in the third by TKO and he was getting his ass whopped and number two I don’t see how the first round was ten to eight. I had Khru winning both rounds but ten to nine and then ten to eight respectfully. After getting killed for the first two rounds Russell did turn it around and he came back with a vengeance winning the last three rounds ten to nine on all three judges’ cards for rounds three and four and a ten to eight for round five ending the title fight in a draw. Since there was no previous champion the title had to remain held up until the two could meet again. Personally I had Russell winning the fight on my score card forty seven to forty six but never the less it was an amazing fight. I have to stick to my guns with my first prediction and take Russell to win, this time I am going fourth round via submission though.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Bobby "The Next Big Thing" Shamrock (5-1) {1-0} versus "Veliki" Ljuti Hrcak (12-0) {1-0}

Look at these two headlining a major event above not one but two title fights. Indeed these are two of the more popular welterweights in Honor Fighting Championship. As most of you all know I am a big Bobby Shamrock fan and I will be cheering him on, but this has to be his toughest challenger to date. He will need to do everything in his power to keep himself standing as his opponent is a submission specialist. If he can he should dominate this fight as he has the superior stand up game. Shamrock should look to make Hrcak think twice about shooting in. Hrcak will need to shoot in though as the thirty one year old twelve fight veteran has no striking training what so ever. Obviously he must have some defensive training though as he has marched to a twelve and zero professional record. Hrcak is a two time champion and he has the taste for gold still. If the brown belt can get the fight to the ground Shamrock could be in trouble even though Shamrock does have a good wrestling pedigree. All signs point to Hrcak winning this fight, but I cannot pick or bet against Shamrock. I will pick Bobby to win this fight by TKO in the third round.

I have this sickening felling in my stomach that I am about to lose a whole bunch of money again. Rather I win or lose though the fans as The Palmtree will all be winners with this mega card. Honor Fighting Championship pulled out all the stops with the move to a bigger venue and I personally am really excited. This will be Honor Fighting Championship’s Uprising!
