TTFC Silva vs Brown is presented by KillShot Klothing of Rio. Somethings are better left unsaid. That was one of them. My bad. Saturday night, fight night!

Bantamweight: "Fat" Big Daddy (2-6) vs "Urban" Donald Crawford (0-0-1)

Donald Crawford had a frustrating start to his career with his majority draw debut and will look to take out that annoyance on a man who is just as frustrated 8 fights into his career. Big Daddy is very much on the bottom rung of TTFC's famous bantamweight ladder but he such a significant experience advantage that he may never get a better chance to record his first TTFC victory than against Crawford. This one figures to be a brawl as neither man has shown much of an eye for technique in their careers to date, admittedly Crawford having had limited opportunity to do so. Big Daddy has a good chin and Crawford has the boxing to test it so this could be an exciting one.

Prediction: Crawford's jab heavy approach and constant pressure should get him the W that many expect against Big Daddy. It won't be pretty but it will be effective for Crawford who should take the decision win.

Lightweight: "Beans" Dwight Grant (13-18) vs "The Cole Miner" Michael Cole (4-6)

These two excellent submission grapplers have struggled to acclimatise to MMA so far as both look to use each other to close the gap on .500 status. Both are capable of locking in seriously nasty looking submissions that torque tendons to snapping point but have found themselves more often than not getting caught by strikes in the process of tap hunting. Poor chins, poor footwork, poor guards or a combination of all three, whatever it is both need to tighten up their games to make progress as fighters and this fight give them an opportunity to earn a precious victory with limited fear of having their clock cleaned. Cole is the better jiujitsu practioner but Grant is the better wrestler and we have seen so many times that wrestling wins fights.

Prediction: Cole has an excellent defensive guard on the mat with triangles a speciality but Grant is no blue belt. With superior wrestling and a size advantage I expect Grant to take the win with a submission of his own before the end of round 2.

Bantamweight: Robson "Phantom" Castro (1-0) vs Mike "8-Ball" Dukakis (1-0)

The road to the top of TTFC's bantamweight division is prehaps the longest and toughest of any within the organsisation. These two are facing that long and arduous journey but if their professional debuts are anything to go by these boys have bright futures. 8-Ball Dukakis looked fantastic in taking down Jet Astronix effortlessly before playing cat and mouse on the mat until finishing the job with supremely accurate ground and pound. Phantom made his twice delayed debut and made up for it with a picture perfect headkick that dropped Gay Pierre before taking his back and locking the rear naked choke. Both fights went as they would have dreamt the night before and both fighters will be high on confidence as they face off in search of repeat performances. Of course one of them has to have their rise to the top halted prematurely by the other and their similar skillsets makes this a nightmare to call.

Prediction: Impressive as they were they are both still relative unknowns. That said we saw more from Castro with his impressive head kick and ground game and with so little history I give him the nod. It's going to be close but Castro by decision.

Heavyweight: One "Big" Dude (19-15) vs Dsdsds "Sdsdsd" Sdsdsd (17-15)

Heavyweights with fight finishing attitudes will always have a home in TTFC and that is exactly why these two journeymen have another chance to impress on Saturday night. One Dude grasped his last chance with his sub 2 minute destruction of Brandon Jacobs, smashing his way to victory with his speed and supreme boxing talents. Sdsdsd didn't take his last opportunity but the memory of his grappling masterclass on Hurba Derba means he is still here to dance the tango de la facesmash with Dude. With 8 wins by way of armbar Sdsdsd is a dnagerous man to get up close and personal with and that means Dude will have to stick to his stick and move style, darting in with a combination and moving away before Sdsdsd can take him for a tumble. Dude is no slouch on the mat but he doesn't want the fight there with Sdsdsd has found himself clipped often enough to fill Dude with confidence.

Prediction: Both are fighters with well earned repuations for delivering the goods but Dude's style is a perfect fit for dealing with Sdsdsd. Look for him to cross the distance with the jab,and put the one-two down the pipe until fatigue and accumulation of blows take Sdsdsd's legs from under him in round 3.

Light Heavyweight: "Colgate" Konstantin Kalyagin (24-13) vs Max Dillan (20-14)

Two of the most fighters in the division square off to move on at 205 as the Russian knockout artist Kalyagin takes on well rounded British export Max Dillan. Colgate finally showed off what the TTFC fans has been waiting for against Yorick Brown having been outwitted by James William and Nicky Salita previously. The hard hitting Russian has the kind of devastating power that when channeled through a strike of any kind ends fights for the unprepared. Freight train fists and howitzer knees strikes punctuate a record that shows that if you let the Russian close the distance it will more often than not be your last contribution to the bout. But Dillan has seen it all before and is in good form going 3-1 in his last 4 with all his victories coming by way of TKO. The last two of which were versus far bigger heavyweights. He too posseses power and excellent hands but taking Kalyagin down and utilising his noticable grappling advantage seems to be the most logical plan of attack in this one.

Prediction: Kalyagin can end this at any time but if Dillan is smart he can expose the Russian on the ground assuming her doesn't take a face crushing knee whilst shooting in. Dillan by ground and pound late in the first after taking the back.

Super Heavyweight: Jefferson Davis "Boss" Hogg (5-2) vs Rashad "Salt" Evans (11-6)

Heavy handed man mountains Boss Hogg and Salt Evans got a taste of their own medicine as they tasted defeat to two of the divisions best in Chris Cook and Dominic Luc Boivers but prior to that they were on brutal winning sprees of their own. They were on matching 5 fights streaks that they will want to relive starting with turning the lights out on the other this Saturday. Hogg is Muay Thai master with excellent cardio and a penchant for the clinch where he can victimise opponents with precise knees to the head and body but he is just as dangerous at range. Evans is more of a boxer but is no less destructive when he gets up close and personal where he can generate power even in tight. A KO seems inevitable as these two head hunters throwdown but the biggest problem for Hogg is the sheer size of Evans who at over 7ft is not the kind of man it is easy to manhandle even for a 6'3" clinch magician. For Hogg his best bet is to use his cardio to frustrate Evans and tire him out with the pace of the match up. Evans' cardio is excellent for his size but at 7 foot plus and with bad intentions in every swing he should be running on fumes by the middle of the second if Hogg pushes it.

Prediction: It only takes one of Evan's cannonball hands to find Hogg's chin for this one to end but if he uses footwork, timing and speed Hogg can play mongoose to the viper before landing some killer strikes of his own. Hogg by TKO in the 3rd.

Super Heavyweight: Armin "Martillo" Merkel (20-3) vs "Frankenmullet" Brock Samson (6-2)

Armin Merkel and Brock Samson did what they do best in their last fights, knocking the opposition unconcious inside 5 minutes. When it comes to pure power Frankenmullet is hard to match and when it comes to volume of strikes, particularly to the body, Merkel is likewise. Samson has the kind of killshot power that ends fights in a heartbeat. No messy follow up ground and pound or need of to keep swinging as the fans yell "Timber!" He connects and the victim is stiff as a board before the mat rapidly rises to play pillow to their sleepy head. Samson likes start quickly and it quickly with ambidexterity in his hooks that follow up his precise power jabs. Merkel is no less impressive to watch but favours a more soul sapping approach, working the body with vicious punches in the clinch and at distance, taking the heart and emptying the gas tank of those on the receiving end. When fatigue starts to set in he capitalises, often on the counter but also with a sudden change in style as the right hand down the pipe comes and separates victim from conciousness.

Prediction: Samson has to be respected and feared but with a marked size advantage, a better gas tank and a significant experience gap Merkel should take another step towards regaining the title yet another TKO, probably in round 2.

Super Heavyweight: Chris Cook (15-4) vs "Big" Ralph McGuire (15-5)

As impressive and awe inspiring as watching two technical wizards display the full range of skills that the modern mixed martial artist possess is, it's often just as fun to watch two big dudes hammer each other with heavy leather until one drops. That is the likely result of this contest between durable boxers Chris Cook and Ralph McGuire. Both have only ever failed to win by (T)KO once before as these boys partner power with precision and dispell the myth that the super heavyweights are pure sluggers. When the heat gets cranked up they are both happy to stand in the pocket and swing hard but expect them to utilise the sweet science expertly, with an emphasis on faints and punches in bunches. Their chins are good but the nature of their fighting styles makes defeat by KO the most often outcome when their own gameplan falters so this looks certain to end brutally and early given the startling number of first round finishes between them.

Prediction: Cook is the bigger fighter with more big fight experience and coming off an impressive win over Jefferson Davis Hogg he should be confidet and focused. Cook by TKO in round 1.

Heavyweight: Rich "Vengeance" Silva (20-5) vs "Magnificent" Monty Brown (7-4)

It is extremely rare for a fighter with such a mediocre looking record as Brown's to be fighting for a title, particularly in as strong and prestigious an organisation as TTFC. But Monty Brown earned it and earned his nickname along the way. Arriving 3-4 in TTFC, Brown has rattled off four straight wins with 2 submissions, 1 TKO and a dominant decision over former champion Richtor Schkayle. This guy can fight! His striking isn't pretty but it is effective as he backs people up and then drives through with the takedown. On the mat he is excellent with a plethora of submissions from virtually any position. If Silva let's Brown get him down and loosened up he will find Monty tough to deal with despite his own stellar grappling pedigree. Monty definitely earned his shot but he is facing the biggest test of his career in the seemingly flawless Rich Silva. Silva is as good as Brown with his grappling and far superior in his stand up, factor in experience and Silva has all the tools required to end the Magnificent fairy tale. His range control frustrates fighters and lets him dictate the pace and style of the fight, and Monty's wildman style coming forward will not phase Silva as he plays matador. Silva is the strong favourite but Monty has faced tall odds before, can he beat them again?

Prediction: Brown in top position is a nightmare for just about anyone but Silva has too man strings to his bow and should finish this fight with strikes in round 2 after a scare or two in the first.
