INSANITY 5: We Die Alone

Second event of the month starts out with a 205 fight between Manu Bennet and Matt Laury, Bennet shows some aggression early on eager to impress, but Laury uses that aggression to his own advantage getting the upper hand and with big head punches landing over and over again Bennet eventually goes down and Laury wins by KO.
Next up Jahwayne Tosh Vs. Guan Yu in the 205 and this one was a quickie as Guan Yu avoids a few strikes and with his own cuts open Tosh, he stumbles backwards and Yu goes after him and eventually drops him down for the TKO victory!
Even more 205 action was here as Antoine Kelstral faces Ilir Latifi for bragging rights and financial gain. Latifi had a clear gameplan going into this fight, and that was take down Kelstral and work him over. The first thing was succesfull and for three rounds he managed to grind out a decision victory, Kelstral fought back in the last round but it was too little too late.
Next up a break from 205 action with a featherweight bout, Gary Bitters Vs. Jacques Roumain and this fight was a showcase of dominance by Bitters who used every limb to lay a hurting to Roumain who gets knocked down eventually, he gets up miraculously though but it doesn't help much as he gets a bunch of painful leg kicks and eventually he gets hit with a right hook that causes him to stumble into the wall and get met with a bunch more punches, the ref sees enough and stops the fight giving Bitters a dominant yet exciting TKO victory.

After that exciting TKO we get a Welterweight bout between Paul McKilly and Gustavo Meranda and the fight starts out with McKilly driving in with a clinch up against the cage, but Meranda fights it off by tripping the leg and getting a takedown instead. McKilly looks completely lost and Meranda goes for the submission, but McKilly isn't giving up at all and is slippery than an eel, in the second round his bell finally tolls though and after getting taken down again he gets locked into a triangle and is forced to tap out to Meranda...
Time for Eddie Peak Vs. Alex Rhys in the middleweight and it starts off hot and heavy as Rhys gets cut open and gets knocked down, but Peak wants him back on his feet and he obliges before getting sucked into a clinch, from there it's all Peak all day and Rhys gets completely battered from the clinch, lots of punches later Peak hits a picture perfect uppercut and it's Goodnight Saigon for Rhys who lies against the cage like a piece of burnt toast. Dominant TKO for Peak.
After that fight we got Featherweight action, Tim Key Vs. Nathan Jason. Jason hits a leg kick that cuts Key open, but Key hits a big combo that rocks Jason badly and he dominates Jason for the rest of the first round. Jason tries to clinch in the 2nd, but Key isn't having anything of it and continues the clubbering for the rest of the round. The final round and it's clear Key is done playing games and he is going all out for a win and as we go into the 2nd minute time runs out for Jason who gets dropped by a straight and he can't defend the punches that follow, forcing the ref to call this in. Tim Key wins by TKO in what might be the best fight of the night.
After that lengthy three round fight, it's time for a little breather in teh Welterweight division as Johnny Pain faces Jay Dee BJ, and this one wasn't a fight as Pain brought the pain with perfect striking that drops his opponent like a sack of potatoes, Pain wins in just over 30 second with a TKO!

Co-Main event time and it's two fighters from ''The Island'' facing off, Bart Finkleton Vs. Tom Moore is the match up and Moore is a finalist from the Island too... But that didn't really help one bit as he lies on his back counting stars after 20 seconds as Finkleton breaks his face with that lethal overhand right all the cool kids are talking about.
And now it's time for the big ticket, the main event between Jarczopeles Sa and Chase Rouch, and just like many other fights this one wasn't a real battle as Rouch takes clinch control very early and just pounds on Sa for the rest of the fight. And after just over 2 minutes Sa gets crumpled by a knee to the face that ends the fight by TKO!
