The Islad Fighter, Ceasar Memphis

Fighter profile of Ceasar Memphis by Tim Key

Since joining the MMA scene on January 10th, 2014 many questions have risen. Like who is Ceasar Memphis? Where did he come from? What does his backround look like? These are just a few of the questions I've seen on many fourms and websites. I'm Tim Key, the manager of the man in question, and I will do my best to deliver the answers everyone wants.

Ceasar Memphis is from a small town called Bloomington in central Indiana. Now I'm sure some of you have heard of Bloomington or atleast the college that is there, Indiana University. The school is very well known for it's basketball program.
Ceasar was once a young man who had high hopes of one day playing point guard for the Indiana Hoosiers. Those are the same dreams that young boy in the state have. He was a very good basketball player, but was also very stubborn. He wanted to
play the game he wanted and not the way the coach wanted. He was kicked off his high school team for not listening and testing positive for drugs. After being kicked off the team he turned to the streets. He started selling drugs, and thought he was
untouchable. Then one day he was jumped by a group of guys who beat his ass, took his drugs, and his money. That was the day he decided he didn't want to live that type of life anymore.

Over the next year Ceasar had started training at a gym in one county over, in a little town called Spencer. Owen County
Boxing and MMA opened there doors to him and he fell in love with MMA. He started doing some amateur boxing and MMA. He went 10-0 in his amteuer boxing stint and 5-0 in his amateur MMA stint. I just happened to be attending his last amateur MMA fight to watch the guy fighting in the main event when he caught my eye with the way he completely dominated his opponent. He was fighting a guy who was on the verge of getting his first pro contract, and finished him in the first 2 mintues of the 2nd
round. He displayed very good hands, and some gppd wrestling to boot. He transitioned very well and held the dominate position while on the ground landing some very serious GNP. I spoke to him after the event was over and asked him if he'd like an opportunity to make a real name for himself. He said yes, and we worked out the terms of me being his manager. A few days
later we flew to "The Island" where he will be living, training, and fighting for the time being. We found him a place to stay
fairly quickly, and then went to look for a gym. He really like the "Island Conditioning Gym" so we got him registered to  train there. After we finished getting the gym stuff situated we went and booked him a QFC Fight, that would take place in 2
days. I told him that getting a fight right away would help get his name out there and get the gitters over with early. It
could potentially earn him a contract with a local org, or even possibly land him a sponsorship.

Ceasar made his professional MMA debut on January 12th, 2014 against the Scientific Calculator. Ceasar won by TKO strikes at 2:52 into round 2. He had his second fight on January 17th, 2014 against DeMarcus Bojan. This happen to be a complete and total domination that finished with Ceasar winning by a Unanimous Decision. That DeMarcus guy has huge heart and wouldn't give up. Ceasar has since signed a contract with "Island Freedom Fighters" and has his first fight with them booked on their 5th card on February 1st, 2014 against Joshua Drum who is coming in with a 1-0 record. He finished his only opponent in the first round and appears to have very good power. This should be a very good fight folks you won't want to miss it.

Now that you've all got a little more insight on who "The Big Dog" Ceasar Memphis is Ive done my job here.
