Official Fight Card

-[Heavyweight bout]: Isakie Takeru vs Damian Grabowski

-[Outcome]: Damian Grabowski controlled this fight with his Jujitsu early on by taking Takeru down and controlling him from the top position. Grabowski stood up and caught Takeru on the way up, stunning him and allowing the three punch combo to finish him. Damian Grabowski def. Isakie Takeru via KO (Punches) at 3:08 of round 1.

-[Heavyweight bout]: Ben Breeze vs Miguel Foster

-[Outcome]: Ben Breeze was able to absolutely shut down the offensive Jujitsu of Miguel Foster. His top game was so clean that he was able to take Foster down in two consecutive rounds and control him. But Breeze wasn't content to sit idle on top... he was smashing his hapless foe with relentless ground and pound before finally finishing with a submission. Ben Breeze def. Miguel Foster via Submission (Americana) at 3:58 of round 2.

-[Welterweight bout]: James Dove vs Max Lacroix

-[Outcome]: James Dove was no match for the aggressive Max Lacroix who dominated Dove on the ground. In the end, James Dove attempted to escape from being mounted and gave up his back... and fell into a submission. Max Lacroix def. James Dove via Submission (Rear Naked) at 2:53 of round 3.

-[Welterweight bout]: Prince Symbol vs Alexito Mustacho

-[Outcome]: Alexito Mustacho has looked absolutely dominant since moving up to the welterweight division to find competition. After controlling Anderson Jones, he put on a ground and pound clinic against Prince Symbol. Alexito Mustacho def. Prince Symbol via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

-[Welterweight bout]: Nando De Leeuw vs Henry Jones

-[Outcome]: Nando De Leeuw looked fantastic in his domination of Henry Jones. The lone blemish on his performance was when he gave up a brief takedown to Jones but he managed to avoid taking any real damage. The second round finish was icing on the proverbial cake for De Leeuw. Nando De Leeuw def. Henry Jones via TKO (Strikes) at 2:25 of round 2.

-[Welterweight bout]: Bradly Danielson vs Ronald Rousey

-[Outcome]: The former welterweight champion of the world looked fantastic for ten straight minutes in this fight. He took Danielson down and controlled Danielson while hunting for submissions. For ten minutes it didn't appear that Danielson belonged in the same cage as Rousey... and then, in the third round, Rousey ate a punch that seemed to shake him up. With blood pouring down his face, the former champion started swinging for the fences on rubbery legs. He ate another strike that sent him to the canvas. He jumped back to his feet and sent him back down and this time he didn't stand back up. What a comeback for Bradly Danielson! Bradly Danielson def. Ronald Rousey via TKO (Punches) at 2:05 of round 3.

-[Middleweight bout]: Thomas Hooke vs Sylvia Silva

-[Outcome]: Thomas Hooke was on point in this fight. He made it clear that Sylvia Silva didn't belong in the same cage as him. Silva came out aggressive on the feet and didn't attempt any takedowns which was a surprise to me. Hooke made him pay with brutal counter strikes to the head and to the body. Thomas Hooke def. Sylvia Silva via 3:25 of round 1.

-[Middleweight Championship bout]: Fenix Espada(c) vs Narcizo Thomas

-[Outcome]: The undisputed middleweight champion of the world Fenix Espada had a dominant run in UPF. He was known as a head kick master with brutal finishes over James Van Der Sluijs, Thomas Hooke, and Anthony Becerra. He defended his title against Tien Jaa in a closely contested match as well. Fenix Espada held the company championship record of three title defenses to his name, a feat that nobody has been able to reproduce. He was the last of the original champions.

Narcizo Thomas made him look amateurish. Narcizo Thomas battled George Greggers after rematching him. In the first fight they fought evenly but in the rematch, Narcizo clowned Greggers. When Thomas met Time “2” Bang, it was as an equal. They were both up-and-coming grapplers trying to make a name for themselves. Narcizo Thomas submitted him in 40 seconds. Narcizo Thomas submitted the most dominant champion in company history in under 25 seconds. Holy shit.

Narcizo Thomas(c) def. Fenix Espada via Submission (Triangle Choke) at 0:23 of round 1 to become the new undisputed middleweight champion of the world!

Aftermath

Fight of the Night goes to Bradly Danielson vs Ronald Rousey

Knockout of the Night goes to Bradly Danielson

Submission of the Night goes to Narcizo Thomas

Ronald Rousey will be completing the final fight on his contract and then sailing to greener pastures wherever that may be. I don't know what his future holds for him but he is a young fighter so I expect that he will continue to grow quickly. I'd love to see him come back to UPF-M after he has some time to train and improve.

Fenix Espada likewise will be retiring from active competition. Despite his hype, I'd like to see him retire altogether but there is a chance that some new manager will pick up his vacant contract and put him back into action.

For the time being, both fighters will be listed as (retired) on the record books.
