Hello everyone “Sunshine” Weston Markson here again along with Rudy “The box” Knife and we are here to bring up the discussion of HMMA 76, this cards is headlined by two lightweights looking to take home the title.  There are a lot of young fighters on this card looking to make a name for themselves in HMMA and the MMA community.

Rudy:  This card may lack superstar caliber fighters outside of the Main events, but don’t write it off just yet often times these young fighters bring the fight and leave it all in the cage, with nothing to lose and everything to gain expect some epic battles between the future stars of Heroic MMA.

MAIN EVENT

"mr decision" Mike Tyson  (18-8-1)  v  2nd Bjorn Helgi  (15-2)          155 lbs title

Weston:   The main event of HMMA 76; a lightweight title fight between champion Mike Tyson and challenger Bjorn Helgi.  Tyson has started a reign as champion that looks like it could go on a long time, having not lost yet in his 6 HMMA fights many are starting to wonder what it will take to see the champion falter.  Bjorn Helgi thinks he has the answer having gone a perfect 3-0 in his time in HMMA this title fight could be one of the best fights the division has seen for a long time.  I imagine the winner goes on to keep this title for a long time, but only time will tell as new challengers arise.

Rudy:   Weston you mention that both of these guys are yet to lose in HMMA but the interesting thing is both of these guys are very battle tested, not one of their fights has been easy, and only one has not went to the judges scorecard, this leads us to believe we are going to see a full 25 minutes of fast paced action out of these two great fighters.  This is a fight I have been looking forward to for a long time even before Helgi was the #1 contender I was dreaming of a day when these two would do battle in the HMMA cage.  When it comes to strategies I don’t believe either fighter will be taking this fight to the ground even though the champion has a small advantage on the ground if he does chose to do so.  Who takes home the lightweight title?

Prediction:  I think Tyson retains here by decision in a very close fight 3 rounds to 2.

CO-MAIN EVENT

“*world-class*" SasH Hemingway (5-4)  v  Stephan Walter (13-8)

Weston:  The CO-MAIN EVENT of the evening is a welterweight fight between SasH Hemingway, and Stephan Walter, two men looking to gain ground in the division and start a run towards championship contention.  Hemmingway has been alternating wins and losses lately but finds himself in a position to take on Walter who is on a two fight win streak.  The winner of this fight finds themselves making a nice jump into the upper middle level of the division and a few fights away from ranked status.

Rudy:   This fight is very even both men seem to counteract each others strong skills with equally impressive skills.  SasH may have a small advantage on the ground and Walter standing, but either man will be able to hold their own in all areas of MMA.   What may be the greatest aspect of this fight is that out of the 18 wins these two share ONLY ONE has come by decision.   So wherever the fight goes these two men wont be looking to stall and control they will go full force for the finish, the question is which fighter gets it?

Prediction:  Im taking Hemingway in a small upset here by submission.

MAIN CARD

"AlkoFans" Jim Beam (13-8) v  Matt "$Dollar$" Leach (5-1)

Weston:  The last fight on the Main card is a middleweight fight between two of the divisions sexiest strikers.  Beam’s most recent fight was a victory of David Nixon that stopped a two fight losing streak and got him back on track to make another possible run into title contention.  Leach has had a great start to his young career having only dropped one fight to one of the divisions top 3 fighters.

Rudy:  These two guys are knockout artists and I expect them to illustrate their abilities to do just that when they meet inside the cage.  With 24 fights between these two men only 6 have wen to decision, and the majority of those fights were losing efforts, if these two want success it usually comes by way of (t)KO.

Prediction:  Leach takes this one by KO.

Baki Hanma  v  Erwin Korba

Antonio Trillanes  v  Tommy Farr

Hakeem Diaw  v  Boing Sparbot

PRELIMS

Cain Marko  v  Nikolai Walujew

Phoney Bones  v  Isaac Newton

                                                              BB Fack  v  Seppo Kneeigeninen
