CCoR: Glove vs. Keane PREVIEW!

On Sunday, March 10th, Champions Cage of Rage presents: CCoR: Glove vs. Keane!! 12-4 boxing machine, Dynamite Glove takes on 16-12 former SVW champion, Roy Keane in what looks to be a barnburner of a matchup for the vacant CCoR welterweight title! Also on the card, we feature another title bout, this time in the Bantamweight division as Champion Barney Rubble puts his belt on the line against rising star, Alberto Lopez! This is our BREAKDOWN!!

Main Event Welterweight Title Fight: Dynamite Glove (12-4) vs. Roy “Mean Machine” Keane (16-12)
Glove is coming off of a 3rd decision victory over William Joseph. Dynamite is currently riding a 3-fight win streak & looks to make it a 4th as he challenges for the vacant welterweight title. His opponent, Roy Keane is coming off of 2 wins – one by 1st round knockout, the other by 1st round submission. Both men are well rounded fighters but it is Dynamite Glove who prefers to strike. Glover possesses sensational hands, backed by a solid Muay Thai game & a wonderful defensive wrestling style. Dynamite has scored numerous knockouts in his career so we know he has power in his hands. Let’s see if it’s enough to stifle the crafty veteran, of nearly 30 fights & win him a belt! Roy Keane is a fighter that can win the fight anywhere.  One thing you can’t deny about Roy is that he…is…a..FINISHER! This guy is either finishing or getting finished! In his 28 fights, he’s only gone to decision once! I expect this matchup to be no different. Someone is getting knocked out or submitted there’s no doubt about that one folks, so be ready & don’t blink!

My Prediction: This one is very close to call! I’ve got Dynamite in this one. I believe Keane will make this a ground fight but Glove will do enough to keep it standing & the knockout will open itself up for him at some point. Glover by TKO

Co-Main Event Bantamweight Title Fight: Barney Rubble (10-3) vs. Alberto “The Gunslinger” Lopez (18-9)
This Sunday the 135lb title is on the line as Champion & #1 ranked fighter Barney Rubble takes on top contender Alberto Lopez. Barney Rubble who has won his last 4 fights wants to continue his destruction at bantamweight with a decisive finish he says. Barney possesses a lethal striking game & a strong defensive wrestling game that makes him super dangerous. In his debut matchup against the Korean, Hae Ki, he picked apart the veteran en route to a decision. He’s looking forward to showing he’s the real deal amongst the best. The challenger, Alberto Lopez is sensational anywhere the fight goes, whether on the feet or on the ground & is sure to pose problems for the young Barney Rubble. Alberto is on a 3-fight win streak himself winning his last 3 by sub & TKO all in the 1st. Like Barney, Alberto has only fought once in the organization but don’t expect any hesitance from either fighter as they both have something to fight for. I expect Alberto to come out aggressively & establish the pace of the fight early. He’ll be looking to score another 1st round finish.

My Prediction: Albert has the skills to win the fight anywhere it goes & he has momentum. I believe he’ll score a finish in the 2nd.

Middleweight Fight:  Ricky Davis (11-6) vs. “Rambo” Suporn Red Gym (19-14)
When Ricky David & Suporn Red Gym enter the cage, anything is bound to happen. Both of these guys can end the fight in an instant. Ricky David is a BJJ black belt with a wonderful standup game. He has a lot of versatility as evidence by his mix of submission & knockout victories. “Rambo” is a boxer & GnP fighter who after losing 3 in a row got himself back on the winning side with a unanimous decision win against Legionarivs Sakara! Now, at first glance it’s clear to see that if this fight stays standing, the fight goes to Ricky. If the fight goes to the ground, it’s also in Ricky’s favor because of his Jiu-jitsu. However, you cannot over look Suporn’s wrestling advantage. He could certainly employ a takedown laynpray strategy. He also possesses lethal GnP which I suppose he’ll employ vs. trying to out-grapple Davis.

My Prediction: If the fight goes to the ground which I expect it will at some point, Ricky will get the quick submission win - That is assuming he doesn’t get the flash knockout beforehand. Davis by Submission.

Welterweight Fight: “Captain Armageddon” Bruce Alvarez Banner (22-11-1) vs. “WJ” William Joseph (20-6)
Prediction:  “Captain Armageddon” by decision

Welterweight Fight:  Joey Bolton (16-12-1) vs. “Ip Wrestler” Kazushi Sakuraba (19-9)
Prediction:  Joey Bolton by TKO

Welterweight Fight: Nelson Muntz (7-1) vs. Jordan De Wilde (8-4)
Prediction: Jordan by TKO

Welterweight Fight: Albert Hitchenfrog (13-10-1) vs. Jim “Boomerang” Carlo (13-7)
Prediction: Albert Hitchenfrog by TKO

Middleweight Fight: “The Genius” Roberto Amongero (12-16) vs. Ronnie Castillo (7-5)
Prediction: Roberto Amongero by KO

Welterweight Fight: Buster Cherry (3-1) vs. Ava “The Boa” Noel (2-1)
Prediction: Buster Cherry by TKO

Middleweight Fight: Bruno “The Python” Sailo (5-3) vs. Jens Schmidt (4-3)
Prediction: Jen Schmidt by TKO

So, there you have it, folks! CCoR the Breakdown! DON’T forget to buy your tickets before they sellout! I’ve already got mine & I CANT WAIT for the action to begin This Sunday night, March 10th! See you there!
