Kage Ryu Taijutsu's Featherweight and Heavyweight divisions will finally crown champions as their tournament finals are closing in. Four fighters are entering the cage on March 1st with only two of them walking out, not only as top dogs in their division, but with $25,000 in hand. The three-round affair will last 10 minutes per round to solidify the stronger of the challengers and I guarantee you... this will be one of the greatest events of the century.

Welcome to WayFightsTV and I am your host, "Eye" Ronnie Way! As it stands, the eight-man KRT Featherweight and Heavyweight tournaments are coming to an end. Featherweight's Yuki Nakai and Nicky Santoro and Heavyweight's Leeroy Russo and Jayden Ray will go toe to toe in the center of the cage with the prize being a championship belt around their waist.
The KRT's number three and number four P4P fighters are slated to fight this Friday in what is the most anticipated event of the organization's history. These two grappling experts head into battle after defeating every fighter before them throughout this eight-man tournament to secure a shot at the featherweight gold. Both guys are coming into this fight hungry. Yuki Nakai, who boasts a 24-10 record, has had many title shots but has come up short in every attempt. He's itching to become a champion for the first time in his career. Santoro won a championship here in the KRT but lost it again in a rematch against the then champion. He spent 6 long months to work his way back to this moment and is ready to hold the title once again.
Nakai has defeated many fighters in his path but Santoro's single title win was against an opponent that was probably one of the most dominant featherweights to fight in the KRT. That win alone is what makes me believe that he will walk out as the champion tonight.
Prediction: "The Ant" Nicky Santoro via TKO (2RD)
There's been a lot of back and forth talk between the heavyweight tournament finalists but now is the time for all words to step aside and allow the fists to do the talking. Winning all of his fights by KO, Jayden Ray is looking to silence Leeroy Russo with a single blow. But Russo is no slouch himself. He, too, has shown that he can knock people out. But he's also shown that that's not all he can do. In all honesty, this fight can go either way. Ray can finish this fight before it even starts and has proven that he can do it. But I don't think he's ever fought a guy like Russo. At the start of his career, Russo used to cut down to 205! This guy is over 7 feet tall, competing in a weightclass that he should've never been at in the first place. But he did well and even now so competing as a heavyweight. But Ray is very heavy handed. Guys who are supposed to have incredible chins have been put in the freezer like they were ice! He is massive at heavyweight and although we haven't seen him in the later rounds, I'm sure he's well trained to fight there if he needs to. But against a guy like Russo, I'm not sure if that'll be enough. But with the title being on the line, anything is possible.
It's a tough decision to have to choose between these two due to the potential quickness of this fight and not to mention that it could honestly go either way. I'm going to have to go with the more well-rounded and former champion in Russo.
Prediction: Leeroy Russo via Submission (1RD)
This next fight, I absolutely love. I can't wait to see these two guys clash man. Heavyweight's Jacob Donovan and Alan Kolodin. Who's wrestling is better will determine who wins the fight. If Jacob can keep the fight on the feet where he has a clear cut advantage, he'll easily get his hand raised. But as soon as it hits the mat, it's Kolodin's game. The black belt, who is tied for the most submissions with fellow Heavyweight, Jones Future, at 10 submissions a piece, will want to close the distance and nullify Donovan's attacks. Donovan's going to have to look for the quick KO, otherwise, he's getting submitted.
Prediction: Alan Kolodin via Submission (2RD)
The fights are getting close. It's going to be intense but when all is said and done, $50,000 will be handed out and two champions will be crowned. This is definitely one event you do not want to miss out on. So until next time, this is "Eye" Ronnie Way signing off!
