The Wild Den: 49

Event Preview: TWD 49
The Wild Den(150k+)
2013-01-19, Rio de Janeiro, Hard Knocks - Rio
Author:Xavier Zane

The Wild Den presents T.W.D: 49! I'm Roy Goos, the writer for The Wild Den owned by Xavier Zane and welcome to... well, the same place we were last night.

The Main Event: Sebastian Belousov vs. Simon Morgan.

Yarr Mateys! We be havin' ourselfs a Capt'n brawling!.. Ahem. Okay. So it's "Captain" Simon Morgan, a highly talented 21 year old stand-up
maniac against a Sebastian Belousov who... Stand-up wise... doesn't stand a chance, pretty much. Simon Morgan has the distinct advantage
in the clinch, as Sebastian Belousov is Useless there, and... well, Morgan is one level away from being Elite. So yeah. Whoopdiedoo for Morgan.
It's hard to write a review for this one since the results is pretty much clear.

Simon Morgan, yarr! via T.K.O (Strikes) in the 1st round, 25 seconds in.

The Co-Main event: Gim Ruut vs. Julio Calbrentes

Wai-wai-wai-wait.... So Ruut is entering to Soundgarden? Oh HELL yeah! The 23 year old Everywhere-but-clinch fighter takes on
the recently un-lucky fighter Julio Calbrentes. Clabrentes lost two of of his last fights via Decision, which might have taken a toll on him.
Speaking of tolls, Ruut's last fight was against Borys Grabowski. In a losing effort via KO (Punches) he's taking out his anger on Calbrentes.
Perhaps, if he gets two more victories, we see Ruut in the main event again... perhaps for a title?

This one's hard, but i'm thinking Gim Ruut via Submission (Guillotine) in the 2nd round, 1:44-ish.

---

Fight #3: Joes Ortiz vs. Djolekov Biceps.

This gus has a funny last name... Biceps... Haha... ahem. Biceps is a all-rounded fighter, with a white belt in BJJ. His last two fights
ended via K.O, and he probably hopes to do the same to Ortiz. Ortiz can easily avoid this result and end it in a minute. How? Simple.
Takedown, Submission attempt, tap, winner. Biceps has almost no Submission Defence i assume, due to his white belt. Or maybe he
does or just doesn't know how to utulize it. So this one is all Ortiz.

Joes Ortiz via Submission (Armbar) in the 1st round, 1 minute and 50 seconds.

Didn't you read my advertisement for ATTICUS BLACK last preview? Daaamn. GET THEM SUPPS!

Fight #4: Nelson Torres vs. Thiago Khan.

A not-so-motivated Torres hopes to submit the submission and boxing specialist Thiago Khan. This is a all or nothing battle for Torres.
If Khan can stuff his takedowns, he can punch him out. If Khan gets taken down he can lock in submissions of his own. So Torres had
better think his strategy through one or two times as this could lead to disasters. The Rio native Torres hasn't been as lucky
with submissions as he should, only having 1 submission victory in his career. The other W's are via Decision. Will he have to sit it out
and hand it to the judges yet again, or will Khan end it quickly? We shall see.

I feel that Thiago Khan wins this one via KO (Punches) in the 3rd round, 2:55.

---

Fight #5: Ricky Ricardo vs. Claudio Tenorio.

Boy, this will be a tiring fight. Ricky Ricardo has no morale, no energy, and is still forced to train. Tenorio has a little bit of energy...
But i feel that they will both drop after one hits the other. I can hardly write a preview on this fight 'cus a good fight requires energy.
If they both can't utulize their skills 'cus they're tired, it's just not gonna work. Even IF you go full damage, it'd be hitting someone with a
freakin' pillow. Guys, pay attention to your energy.

Claudio Tenorio via K.O (Punches) in the 1st round, 0:13 seconds.

---

That's it for the main card. Here's my predictions for the lower card.

Artemio Bayagris vs. Natural Killer sees Natural Killer win for the first time via T.K.O (Cuts), 1st round, 2 minutes in.

Alex Shawn vs. Cruz Vito is easy. Cruz Vito. T.K.O (Strikes). 2nd round. 3 minutes and 20 seconds in. BAM!

Bo Lo vs. Power Ranger.. gold..? Ahem. GO ZORDON!... Power Ranger Gold via T.K.O (Strikes) in the 1st round, 1st minute.

=-=

That's it for this event. I'll see you guys tomorrow with the review. Bye!
