135 lbs Frankie Sanchez(0-0)  v Lee Pang(2-2)

Lee has been in the wars this young chinese fighter specializes on striking but he got exposed in hes last 2 fights and some improvements will be needed if he wants to stand a chance in this contest...
however he holds the advantage if he plays hes tactics right and get this fight into the clinch...he has a clear MT and wrestling advantage so i assume he should be able to control procedures from that position..

his opponent will be  Frankie "The Outlaw" Sanchez ,this young Cali kid has made a good impression in training and hes camp has high hopes for him....hes a strong boxer and  comes into this fight with superior BJJ and i think that where he will try to win this fight on the floor ,with a submission....

Prediction:Frankie Sanchez-Submission

Nothing to Lose: Mark Hamilton

Fighter profile of Mark Hamilton by Grazi Akbar

By most accounts, Mark Hamilton would be considered a loser.

A big one. Literally- he’s 6’ 3” and 265 lbs.

Anyone with a passing look into the fighter’s life would probably say that things are not going so well.  They would be correct.  A part time job, a vengeful ex-wife, no car, and a tiny apartment that is barely livable and barely within the city limits of Las Vegas.  Not the dream life that the 25 year old was told he would have.

Broken promises are a recurring theme in Hamilton’s life and the big reason he finds himself in the typically ‘fighter who fights’ situation.  A narrative that we’ve seen played out over and over in books and movies and television:  Fighter wins, Fighter encounters tragedy, fighter trains, fighter overcomes, fighter goes home happy.  This is not the story of Mark Hamilton.  He’s been a loser from the get go.

“I guess I’m pretty good at being the whipping post,” Hamilton pushed out of his mouth in between sets of push-ups.  “I paid a lot of bills by letting guys beat me.  You can make another guy look really good by knocking out a 6’3” 265lb dude… “

Hamilton is a ringer.  A paid fall guy w

Interview for Carlos Newton

Carlos Newton is an seasoned fighter and has seen his share of big fights in his carrer. He was former Island FC MW champion and three time Canadian ju jitsu champion. But his most important fight is coming at Island Combat 3 versus Ukko Metso for the Ligt Heavyweight title. We had thepleasure of interviewing this fighter before his big fight.

Martin: You have been Island FC MW champion before. So you have some experience going into this fight at Island Combat 3.

How well has this prepared you for this fight?

Newton: I've won and lost title fights, so I think my experience will definitely help me in this one. It's been nice preparing for another grappler for once. It's allowed me to focus on my ground game again and sharpen my skills.

 Michael McGuire (5-0-0) vs Desmond Bradley (4-1-0) – 205lbs

Two quite inexperienced guys who both have their roots in Victory Combat League will meet in our first fight of the main card. 20-year old Michael McGuire is an undefeated boxer from the United States. It's being said that his actual strength lies in his kicking game, but to be honest, we haven't seen much of it yet. McGuire has opted to do the most damage from the clinch instead.

His opponent hails from a similar background, but has took his skills another way. Desmond Bradley also comes from a boxing background, but prefers to work at range. From there he mostly headhunts for the killshot. He has in his last fights that his takedown defence still needs work, something that co

Pulse FC 30: Chonan vs. Abarai

 Pulse Fighting Championships 30

Main event: Chonan vs. Abarai II

Coming straight from the anime Bleach, Renji Abarai is definitely looking to try to his supernatural powers to take the fight to the ground and keep it there. With five impressive submission victories, Abarai finished four out of his five submission victories in the first round. Defeated the first time around against Chonan by way of 2nd round TKO, Abarai is certainly seeking revenge this time around.

On the other side of the pond, Piranha Chonan, the undefeated PFC middleweight champion, will be looking to keep this fight on foot and defending against Abarai's ground game. A superior striker, his 8-0 record has ended with 7 TKO finishes against powerful strikers such as Sebastian Ostereguy. However, Chonan is not afraid to go to the ground if need be; as he himself is a strong grappler. Renji Abarai has to be careful against Chonan; as he will be looking for yet another finish.
