Lightweight: Mohsen "Gilgamesh" Mosaddegh (2-0) vs Steve Pharaoh (12-11)

If you don't know Mohsen Mosaddegh, you will do soon. The fighting pride of Isfahan is a real deal lightweight prospect who looks more than capable of dealing with his far more experienced opponent on Saturday. With room to grow in all areas it his fast and powerful hands that have caught the eye so far. Whether in uppercuts in the clinch or the cross that follows up the jab the punches that Mosaddegh throws are nothing short of venomous. He is constantly pressuring his opponents but not with wild flurries, he sets things up and cuts off angles until matching

TUF Live: Lawrence vs. Marcello Results

Editorial by

Results for the TUF Live bout between lightweights Justin Lawrence and Cristiano Marcello, fought in the season's second regular episode. In TUF seasons past, the strategy has been to pick off the weaker fighters in the early bouts. But bantamweight champ and current coach Dominick Cruz flipped the script last week when he had control of the matchups. Instead of finding an easy mark, he pitted his top pick - Black House MMA kickboxer Justin Lawrence - against Team Faber's Cristiano Marcello, a Gracie BJJ black belt who's trained Chute Boxe fighters like Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua.

"By choosing Marcello and Lawrence, I'm making both those athletes better fighters, because they weren't expecting it," explained Cruz. "There's a lot of eyes on these guys and that's the type of pressure that builds champions."

When it came up to living up to the pressure, 21-year-old Lawrence did not disappoint, meting out his strikes before finishing with a knockout at 3:16 of the second round. The defeat also took down Team Faber's second pick, which Cruz described as the strategic equivalent of "taking ou

An Interview with Glory

Fighter profile of Golden Glory by

How are you doing man? Its so good to finally meet you. I have personally been a huge fan of yours since my dad began writing a long time ago. You were the P4P king and no one looked close to stopping you at least not in my eyes. So, hows the training and fighting going?

Training and fighting is going well. After my recent losses, I'm doing my best to patch up some holes in my game to make sure that I reach the top again.

If you werent fighting what is one thing you would want to do with your life?

My focus is just on my gameplan and how I'm going to win. That's the only thing o

Brought to you by Kingdom http://mmatycoon.com/clothingpublic.php?cid=2911 and Syn Euro Betting http://www.mmatycoon.com/bookmakerpublic.php?bid=7381 Red Forman v Qing Kong-It says something about a card when the main card begins with the only title fight on the card. This is a rematch for the 155lb championship of the world. Kong comes in as the underdog, and claims he is going to make up for his earlier, shortcoming. His manager Chris Karter, one of the best Tycoon managers ever, is a master of making adjustments, and he could be in the driver’s seat in this fight. It would be a big risk for Forman’s manager to move away from the strategy that he used in the first fight, which may cause him to stick with that strategy, and allow Karter to adjust accordingly. Forman claims that he will win anyway. He thinks he has Kong’s number, no matter the adjustment. He wants to end the pot smoking Commie’s 155 run with a bang, as he claims that the fight will be won by KO this time, not by split decision.

Cody Lee v Tyrel Sackett-A match up of two of the tougher fighters in the Syn Euro 205 division. Sackett is has some of the best power ever witnessed in the Syn Euro octagon, and a kill or be killed attitude that the fans love. Sackett knows that Lee is also a fighter with dynamite fists, but he may throw caution ot the wind, and look for that KO. This strategy may be a mistake, as Lee has shown to have a granite chin. When Lee first arrive in Syn Euro expectations were high as his name was mentioned in the same breath with the Tycoon God at LHW Jeremy Tonal. Now that he has been tested in the org. It seems those rumblings were not as over stated as people expected. Lee looks to have

A Short Introduction to Golden Glory

Fighter profile of Golden Glory by

September 15th 2010, a match was scheduled between two 280lbs fighters. The fight was a quick booking, two unknown fighters to go head to head to boost their career to stardom. For one of the fighters this would be the case. Within 45 seconds of the first round Rick Ross fell to the future P4P king, Golden Glory.

When he first laid eyes on the young man his  goal was to see Golden Glory become the best there ever was at least for the time and there was no doubt that this was the case. The fighter would go down in the record books known to have defeated 8 straight victories against top ten heavyweights becoming the youngest fighter to reach the #1 P4P fighter in all of history at the age of 21. He became the youngest fighter to be inducted into the hall of fame of MMATycoon and would eventually headline the card with the highest rating, revenue and attendance in MMA history. The young Hall of famer grew up in the streets of Brazil before he was taken under the wing of his manager GunMetal Grey. Greys wish was to see Glory become the greatest fighter at the time, little did he know he probably held the greatest fighter ever right under his wing.

After his first fight in the QFC he took another to keep the ball rolling forcing the referee to stop the fight due to a cut handing the undefeated Cisterna his first loss.  The clinch work Glory had shown in the fight was no doubt beyond what his manager could have expected. This was the moment where his fans started taking notice and so did the ORGs around town.  Glory not only defeated the 3-0 Cisterna but he completely dominated him.  His final fight in the QFC was the true ticket he needed to join a top org while having the referee or the doctor stop t

Bushido: Cage Fighting
2012-03-30, Tokyo, The Underground - Tokyo
Author:Dane Ford

Hey Now! This is JLP reporting to you live from Tokyo! I'm wearing my BCF sumo thong, so that means Bushido Cage Fighting is about to go live for it's history making first event. Lets get to the fights.

Jett Padilla(3-6) v Ken Nasamaki(0-0)

The first fight of BCF will feature MWs Padilla and Namasaki. Padilla is a BJJ/MT fighter who has won 3 of his last five after a rough start. Namasaki is making his pro debut. There is no film on Namasaki yet, and he is real excited to make his debut.

Spencer Oswell(0-0) v John YJ(1-4)

Oswell is also making his pro-debut tonight. He is primarily a boxer and rumor is he has devoted a lot of training time to improve his wrestling game. YJ's sole victory came by armbar so you can bet he hopes to get the fight to the ground. His stick-figure like physique can help him grab a sub, but can hinder his durability in the ring. Someone get this guy a taco.
