IXF VII
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 27 Mar 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: The Underground - The Island (1,000)

Welcome back fight fans as we see IXF make what should be their final stop at the Underground.   Tonights fight card is following up on this past Wednesdays show that saw a company record 1474 adoring MMA fans hit the turnstiles at Hyashi’s Lounge, a record that likely will not last very long at all.
In our Main Event of the evening we see a Lightweight battle close out the show in what will most certainly see a contender step out looking for a chance to throw down for the IXF Lightweight belt.

155 lbs Ricky Luciano v Angus McCloud

We see two dangerous strikers square off in a fight we don’t expect to last much more then 1 round.  Neither combatant has tasted defeat thus far in their young careers. Luciano holds a very slim reach advantage with a clear advantage in the Muay Thai discipline and has also proven to be much more active in his victories then McCloud.  He also has enjoyed a very high level of accuracy in those victories especially when it comes to his punches.  On the other hand McCloud holds a very distinct advantage in Boxing skills and has enjoyed even more accuracy success however in much less attempts, which shows just how much power he packs and unleashes it quickly.  I don’t see this one lasting much more then 3 or 4 minutes it will come down to which guy has the better chin, this one is a virtual coin toss but my money’s on Luciano, last time I bet against him he made sure to throw it back in my face!!

205 lbs Cannon Fodder v Abdul Kadir

Up next we have a solid matchup between two Light Heavyweights looking to stake their claim on a shot at the gold.  Both these warriors come into action with identical 2-0 records inside the IXF cage with zero experience outside of the first round of their fights.  Once again Cannon Fodder enters the cage with little fanfare at all, could there ever be another fighter enjoying this kind of success all while knowing he is merely being thrown to the wolves with little regard and being totally expendable within his managers stable.   Even though his background is in the art of Muay Thai, Fodder prefers to take his prey into the clinch and batter them into next week.  The fact remains however he is not afraid to roll around on the ground as his last matchup proved, take him down at your own risk as he has a sneaky submission game waiting for you.  Facing off on the other side is BJJ specialist Kadir who is managed by the mouthy one GWad, never afraid to throw threats and demands and has a surprising devotion to Joe Biden??  No idea why this guy likes to talk damn politics all the friggin time, this is a fight game, stand up and bang already!  Anyways this is not about the manager, its about the fighter and Kadir’s one scary dude indeed who appears to make no effort whatsoever to attack, and rather sit back and wait for a mistake, which he always capitalizes on.  So far in 2 trips Kadir has not attempted many offensive moves at all, preferring to either lie down for his opponent or drag him down from the clinch.  Why do I get a vision of Nick Diaz here, lying on the mat waiting for his opponent to jump on down and cuddle?  Considering this dude apparently “Prefers standup” I think he lacks any intelligence at all.  Very much like the Main event this one is a coin flip and because of Kadir’s inability to follow his hidden talents I got Fodder in this one via a 2nd round (T)KO.

185 lbs Adio Harris v Enzo Williams

Next up is a tilt between the much taller Adio Harris and Enzo Williams.  Harris lost his amateur debut after being rag dolled on the mat by now retired Darren Till just 9 days ago and he will be here to make up for that result.  Harris holds a very distinct height and reach advantage towering over Williams by 30 cm, this will no doubt make this stick man very vulnerable to the approach of much more experienced wrestler Williams.  Harris did not get off any offensive attacks in his first match however did enjoy some defensive success while on the mat but unfortunately those successes were overshadowed by the beating he took which saw his lights go out 5 seconds prior to the buzzer of round 1.  Williams on the other hand is also making his professional debut following a 5 fight amateur career that looked very promising at first but was quickly shot down by Heavy Handed IXF fighter Patrick Watt.  This defeat was so brutal Williams former manager just couldn’t bear it and kicked him to the curb to become someone elses play toy.   Luckily for Enzo Island savant Callum McGregor saw something in his eyes and decided to give him another chance at success and an opportunity to continue his career in the #1 fight promotion here on the island.  Hopefully Harris has found his missing confidence in time for the first bell of this one, as if he hasn’t his night will likely be over quickly.  I got Williams in this one because even though his last trip to the cage proved his chin is made of brittle glass, his early 4 wins were no total fluke and he clearly outclasses his opponent today.  Look for a 1st submission ending Harris’s night before it even began

265+ lbs Zion Lewis v Ser Gregor Clegane

Now its time to step aside to clear room for the bigaboys to step inside the cage as we see Muay Thai specialist Zion Lewis match up against BJJ brawler Ser Gregor Clegane.  Lewis has some made power as displayed during his debut on the amateur circuit when he ended the night early against his Granite Chinned foe just a mere 0:42 into the very first round.  Lewis was no slouch at keeping the fight on the feet as he stuffed all 5 takedown attempts thrown his way by his opponent.  After that all it took was one superman punch to shut off the lights and send his dance partner home with a devastating finish.  BJJ Brown belt Clegane will definitely want to do anything and everything he can to break that goose egg and get Lewis onto the ground as that is where he is most dangerous as his single attempt at a sub showed with great success an even more impressive 0:28 into the initial frame!  Even with a Granite chin Clegane has shown a tendency in the past to be a bleeder which wont bode well against a power puncher like Lewis.  This one is hard to call for sure, as all fight fans love the big knockout finish however there is something about the art of tap or snap, and I am calling Clegane to drag this fight into the later rounds where he will also drag Lewis into the deep water he has never experienced and expose a limb and make him tap quicker then our good friend Connor against the Eagle!

265 lbs Andrey Karaev v Marcus Gilliam

The final fight of our maincard sees two more big men throw down as Andrey Karaev takes on Marcus Gilliam.  Both these men have only seen the inside of an IXF cage and tonight they will be looking for a more exciting battle then they enjoyed in their debuts.  Karaev won a fairly uneventful split decision in a fight that most certainly could have gone the other way.  Overcoming multiple knockdowns during the fight Karaev was able to win over the judges and score the victory.  His solid chin was exposed and we wonder if it has recoved in time to meet up with fellow striker Gilliam.  Though a good boxer Gilliam does not show off any intimidating hidden abilities that would strike fear into any opponent.  Gilliam leans heavy on a punch only offense which is what we wonder could cause issues with Karaev and his suspect chin.  Much like his opponent Gilliams only fight went the distance where he lost a razor thin UD and we here are hoping for a lot more excitement in this one.  I got this one ending mid way through round 2 with Karaev recovering from his chin issues in his debut and leaning heavily on Gilliam until he puts his lights out for the night to open the main portion of our show!

Undercard fights

185 lbs    Guilherme Godoi v Wanderlei Nogueira
155 lbs    Necmettin Hoca v George Russell
205 lbs    Max Strasburg v Johnny Clark
170 lbs    Dominique Caramel v Jake Damien

IXF VIII
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 28 Mar 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: Hayashi’s Lounge - The Island (2,000)

Is everyone ready to rumble??  Live from Hayashi’s Lounge Island Xtreme Fighting is going to blow the damn roof off this joint tonight.  Tonight’s main card shapes up to set new Organization records in many areas which will undoubtedly last only a short time!  Don’t blink or you may miss some of the action we have coming up for you!

In our Main Event of the evening we see a Middleweight rematch that many pundits don’t expect to last very long at all but it is sure to provide some fireworks for the fight fans in attendance.  Squaring off in this one is a pair of top 10 ranked warriors looking to stake their claims on that coveted #1 spot.

185 lbs  New Car v Marcus Behnder

Coming in ranked as the #3 ranked Middleweight and #8 P4P fighter is New Car who is looking to make up for his upset loss one week ago at IXF IV and surely Behnder who is staring him down as the #2 Middleweight (lets be honest, especially given the blood loss expected tonight he is lucky to stand at 170 lbs) and the #5 ranked P4P fighter is looking for the same form of revenge after being simply run down by Car at IXF II in a tidy 11 seconds.  Knock Knock… was the sound Behnder’s head made when it hit the canvas when he got absolutely demolished by New Car in their first matchup.  Car is a Muay Thai specialists with laser sharp strikes at range however slightly less accurate though hyper active while in the clinch, but no matter how you shake it down, he is very dangerous and as he has proven in the past,  Behnder may not have the chin to hold up to his power not to mention we will likely see him bleed for days.  For Behnder to survive he needs to get this fight on the ground and needs to do so tout suite!  If their last dance was any indication, we aren’t sure that’s going to happen.  Behnder is like an anaconda on the mat and has no fears once there and finishes like so few but I can just imagine the crying going on in his head tonight after taking some of the heavy shots Car will be throwing his way if he fails in that mission.    My heart tells me this one is going to be another nasty nasty finish and the concussion unleashed will have a lasting effect on Marcus, more so then the time he was slew footed and smacked his head off the ice back in Saskathewan!

185 lbs  Mike Ziskie v New Home

Up next we feature another Middleweight showdown in the Co Main Event as highly coveted prospect and recent IXF signing Mike Ziskie makes his professional debut following an extremely impressive amateur career that saw him win 6 out of 7 fights.  Ziskie is a wrestler by trade with a nasty sub game that has seen all his wins end with a feverish tap!  Standing opposite him is New Home, who also enjoyed a successful amateur career aswell as a quick KO finish in his pro debut.  Ziskie has landed just over 50% of his takedown attempts thus far and that is exactly what he will need to accomplish to steer clear of the power in Homes fists.  The Granite chin Ziskie possesses will get tested today for sure but his track has shown that he does not fear strikers, instead it thrives on the challenge.  New Home on the other hand has yet to face a takedown attempt in his career which makes us wonder if he evenhas the ability to stop one or not?  He has yet to meet a chin he has not been able to shatter however we feel today could be the day that he does.  This one wont last long but we got the sub game over the power game today with Ziskie landing a 1st round sub ending Home’s wining streak.

205 lbs  Nick Piano v Johnny Cannons

In our next battle we move up to the Light Heavyweight division as Nick Piano faces off against Johnny Cannons in a showdown to determine who will face Cannon Fodder for the IXF Light Heavyweight belt.  Piano possesses a nasty clinch game along with the risk of being dragged to the floor and grinded into oblivion as shown in his previous 3 victories.  He has lightning in his fists and has hardly been tested thus far in his career however we are sure that Cannons is determined to be the first to touch him up.  When he swings on you Cannons hardly ever misses and has yet to see any fight last longer then 0:52.  His paper thin skin could be his undoing today so we are sure he will look to end this quickly to ensure he only loses a pint or two of blood.  Heaven forbid a Cannons loss knowing his trigger happy Manager pulling the strings will surely set him aside like he has with all of his previous Island fighters.  Some guys just cant hack the competition, what can I say?  I digress here… this one is so very close to call but I think Cannons will find away to prevail and send Piano for his very first L leading to a sure fire collision of epic proportions between him and good ole Cannon Fodder.

265+ lbs Arturo Vargas v Zeus Turner

Now we move on to the big boys as we see two fighters matched up with identical 2-0 records to their names.  Arturo Vargas is a pure Muay Thai specialist with vicious power.  That Big Right Hand has turned the lights out inside the first minute of both of Vargas’s matchups however Turner showed just how impenetrable his Granite chin is as he has stood toe to toe against 2 power punchers while throwing in alittle style for good measure in his amateur debut with a KO Slam victory.  He has shown a slight oddball approach given his preference to go with a high volume combos even though his success rate on those attempts just isn’t there.  Vargas is more to the point and is clearly out there head hunting everytime he steps inside the cage.  Normally given his large height and reach advantage Turner would be wise to keep this at distance to avoid the clear advantage held by Vargas in the clinch however I am doubtful he can survive the barrage that will be coming his way today.  I am calling an audible here and predict this fight gets dragged to the ground where Vargas will have Turner tapping in the second round

155 lbs  Helio Nogueira v Lyle Holliday

The final fight of our main card sees two Lightweight fighters looking to climb the rankings and stake a claim of a future title fight showdown.  Helio Nogueira just completed a long-drawn-out boring draw last week against title contender Hells No in a fight that apparently either the commentators weren’t really watching or maybe it was the judges asleep at the wheel.   Unfortunately for Nogueira he has not shown an ability to finish seeing both of his career fights go the distance and when you let that occur you allow the judges to duck their responsibility and duty faster then Paddy’s morale dropped in his sham of a cherry-picked title fight!!  On the other side of the cage, we have Lyle Holliday who clearly has the better chin even though he won’t be needing it today in this one.   In his debut performance Lyle enjoyed a UD victory in a fight that took place all over the cage, and he showed he can take control no matter where they are rolling.  Holliday doesn’t posses any single outstanding ability but at the same time has not shown any glaring weaknesses.  Add to this his far more experienced successful manager is leading the way this one will surely end in his favour because good lord, does ChuckW94 have his 200 lbs bull mastiff setting his sliders for him??  How else do you explain a sub 700 ranking considering how long he has been playing the damn game.   His 1-5 record thus far in IXF will lead the charge today as holey smokes he can’t possibly continue to lose can he?  We say he can, and will as we will see this one go the distance and Helio will get hosed once again by the judges.

Undercard fights

205 lbs  Jhonny Boy v Rock Brown

205 lbs  Savage Opress v Minato Kuroda

205 lbs  Manoel Tobias v Anigav Rennid

265+ lbs Dwalin Giantslayer v Balin Trollslayer

155 lbs   Issac Field v Don Peccorino

Well there you have it folks, this one will be a show for the ages as IXF will continue to enjoy great successes here early in this Island Season.  Records are made to be broken and today those initial records will be entering into the books only to be smashed at a later date!  Enjoy the show folks I know I will be!

Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting

Greetings everyone, we come to you Live from Hayashi’s Lounge with another epic fight card brought to you by Island Xtreme Fighting, the Islands #1 Fight Promotion.  If you are here for some exciting action, here is what we have in store for you!
Our Main Event of the evening is a battle between Heavyweight powerhouses as the #1 ranked HW  squares off against the #9

265 lbs     Phuc Dat Bich v Zuki Nicodeme

Both fighters come into this one undefeated as we see a classic matchup between a striker and grappler.  Bich has made quick work of all three of his opponents to date, making them tap for their life inside of the very first minute of round 1 however he has yet to taste the power of a Heavy-Handed opponent.  Dich does not appear to possess any form of striking ability as from our research he has yet to throw a strike of any kind but how long can he continue that success?  The man standing opposite from him also does not throw a high volume of punches however that is because he doesn’t miss, and he puts the lights out!  Of note here Nicodeme has stuffed the only takedown attempt thrown his way, will he be able to continue that success here, you will have to tune in to find out.  Coming off his KO of the night performance at IXF IV where he put a vicious end to his opponents evening just 0:12 into the first round he will surely be looking to do the very same tonight.  These contrasting styles make this matchup very hard to call but I am putting my money on Nicodeme continuing his magic with a flash KO.

170 lbs     Zhang Wei v Eddie Bravo

Up next we feature a matchup between a pair of the more experienced fighters in IXF combining for a total of 11 fights with only 2 of those (1 each) being defeats.  Wei is making his promotional and profession debut following a very successful amateur career.  Prior to his start in MMA Wei leaned heavily on his creative side while working in the garden and enjoys evenings out at the local theatre.  One thing I know for sure, pizza is not high on his list of preferred pre fight meals!!  He is now more inclined to roll around on the mat with fighters and show off his successful ground and pound abilities, landing 90% of his attempts on average.  He will mix in some submissions as well however his focus is grinding his opponent into the mat.  In Bravo we have a grappler who like Wei enjoyed a very successful and undefeated amateur career until he ran into Marcus Behnder at IXF V in his pro debut where both fighters exchanged submission attempts until Behnder sunk in the triangle ending Bravo’s debut in defeat and tonight, Bravo will be looking to turn that ship around as we know he wont be wanting that same outcome in consecutive fights.  He possesses some wikid KO power however we are yet to see him display that skill in any of his career fights.  We are pretty confident we know where this one is going to take place, but what will be the outcome? Well my money is on a quick submission victory for Bravo putting him back into the title discussion.

265 lbs      Andrey Karaev v DeeJay Dawkins

In our next battle we move back up to the Heavyweight division as Andrey Karaev faces off against DeeJay Dawkins in a rematch to confirm 100% who the true winner was at IXF II following a controversial judges decision.  Karaev is undefeated thus far and seems to be quite the active puncher throwing just over 60 strike attempts per fight which is likely what led to seeing the judges lean in his favour in the first dance between these two.  Karaev possesses a good chin but in their first encounter Dawkins found his way through to put Karaev on his back with a beautiful combination however he was not able to mount any kind of offence as Dawkins was not able to prevent the position advancements of Karaev.  In his follow up performance Dawkins put his superior intelligence to work as he was able to both knock his opponent down and then follow that up with a takedown where he was able to maintain his position and grind some serious ground and pound on his opponent which ultimately saw a referee stoppage a mere 2 seconds prior to the end of the round.  No doubt Dawkins will be looking for a follow up performance in this one and to erase the memory of allowing the judges make the call on the fight rather then taking care of business himself!  They say if you don’t like the result, fight harder and we echo that saying, don’t complain to me about the result, go out and control the result.  My call here is Dawkins will do just that today folks as he learns from his previous mistakes and ends this one early!

135 lbs Squeaky Sneakers v Brett Shoenfeld

Its now time for the midgets to play as Squeaky Sneakers looks to get back on track following a solid performance in his professional debut that ultimately ended in defeat.  He takes on undefeated wrestler Brett Shoenfeld who is making his IXF debut following a pair of quick submission victories on the amateur circuit. In his debut the company Sneakers was seemingly winning the battle against the islands top ranked bantamweight fighter after 10 minutes of action however in the final frame Yuudai scored another early takedown and this time he would accept nothing but victory after taking his back an sinking in the rear naked choke.  Luckilly this did not take all the wind from Sneakers sails as he is here to bounce back and correct his mistakes, as he surely does not want to step in it again now does he?  Shoenfeld comes in sporting a solid chin that really has yet to be tested as he has only ever witness one failed head kick attempt go sailing past his untested head, however what he does possess is a slick submission game as he has enjoyed success with both attempts he has thrown out in his 2 career fights.  He will surely be looking to get this one to the ground as soon as possible however with a keen eye on t he fight tapes of Sneakers debut to show him where to focus to ensure victory.  Based on his recent success most would fully expect to see Shoenfeld continue on his path to glory however I am going to call an audible here as Sneakers will look to test that chin and finish what he wasn’t able to in his debut with a flash KO in round 2.

170 lbs     Son of Dan v Obebobwe Osas

The final fight of our main card pits a pair of strikers representing the welterweight division in a matchup stylistically I have not written about to date, unless my aging and failing memory is playing games with me at least.  Son of Dan is a Muay Thai specialist coming off a KOTN performance in our inaugural IXF event taking on Boxer Obebobwe Osas who enjoyed an exciting amateur run of power only to get stopped in his tracks in his IXF debut early in the second round.  As an outsider looking in, he does not appear to have recovered from that performance or he needs to hit a laundromat to clean those clothes in an effort to regain some morale.  Dan certainly has the chin to stand up to Osas’s heavy handed offence and appears to have some lightning in his hands and we expect nothing different in his performance today as he looks to continue his ascent up the rankings.  Osas, on the other hand is looking to get his career back on track but I fear this is not the favorably matchup he would need to accomplish that feat.  This one ends quickly with Dan seeing his hand raised in victory while Osas lays sprawled out on the mat rethinking his career choice.

Undercard fights

265+ lbs      Francis Nigganou (-111) v Mfer Phol
155 lbs        Gosuke Del Valle (-111) v Issac Field
170 lbs        Yeves The Soul Rapist (-111) v Haole Boy
170 lbs        Durans Helmsfrid (-111) v Polish Powaaah
135 lbs        Leon Smalls (-111) v Viserys Targaryen

IXF X
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 4 Apr 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: Hayashi’s Lounge - The Island (2,000)

Greetings once again everyone, for what should be the second last time we come to you Live from Hayashi’s Lounge before moving on to the largest venue the island has to offer, we have another epic fight card brought to you by Island Xtreme Fighting, the Islands #1 Fight Promotion.  If you are here for some exciting action, here is what we have in store for you!
Our Main Event of the evening is a showdown between the Islands #2 P4P and #2 ranked Middleweight fighter Ache Guarani taking on undefeated wrassler Ebubekir Siddik who slots in at #7 in the Middleweight rankings.

185 lbs     Ebubekir Siddik v Ache Guarani

Ache Guarani was on a brief hiatus and rumours have been circulating recently that he was not impressed by being passed over on the chance to do battle for the inaugural IXF Middleweight Championship.  At press time words had been exchanged however it seems calmer heads prevailed knowing all it will take is a victory at IXF X to see him reclaim his shot at gold.  Standing in his way is undefeated Ebubekir Siddik, who the hell comes up with these damn names, must be a manager with bold political aspirations!  But that’s enough of that, lets get back to the fight.  Siddik is a very determined fighter who prefers to see the fight take place on the ground as he has yet to put his quickness to the test in a standing exchange.  So far a standing gameplan has not been needed as his focus is squarely on beating his opponents into the mat with his outstanding ground and pound.   That gameplan could very well work to his advantage or it could backfire miserably as his opponent possesses a solid chin that may be enough to withstand the barrage but more importantly a BJJ game that has seen his only 2 opponents tap feverishly to end the torture he likes to impart.  This one could go either way for sure, however based on Siddik’s yappy manager and his continued gloating about his record against yours truly, I can never cheer on any fighter of his! Your day will come Mr but that wont be today!! Because of that I am calling a quick sub victory by Guarani as he looks to regain his coveted #1 p4p ranking on the island.

144 lbs     Helio Nogueira v George Russel

Up next we see an Abu Dhabi encounter that sees a pair of BJJ Brown Belts seeking their 3rd win and a shot at climbing into title contention.  Once again my elite level match making skills are on display here as we see a second consecutive event sporting a rematch between 2 fighters who recently battled.  Add to that the shame from last week when I was overconfident in my predictions and called for an easy loss for Nogueira as he made sure to clap back at that and prove how dumb I am when judging talent.  Word has it ChuckW94 was not at all pleased with my comments and at the after party did not hold any punches in voicing his pleasure in seeing his warrior pull off a quick and dangerous knee bar before the clock had time to hit the one minute mark.  His paper thin skin has not proven to be a detriment thus far as he wastes very little time getting the fight to the ground in order to display his BJJ prowess.  Russel is coming off his own slick submission victory at IXF VII and once again will be working hard to get the fight to the ground so he can go off on numerous sub attempts, maybe this time he can work towards a more effective position before going throwing up fruitless attempts.  In their previous matchup Nogueira proved to be the more effective grappler enjoying more success when transitioning to more dominant positions and throwing in some effective ground and pound.  Unfortunately, both fighters either possess outstanding defensive grappling abilities or only have the ability to land the sub against inferior ground fighters. This one is a coin flip and would not be at all surprised by this one being scored a draw.  Lets hope I am wrong and there is more excitement in store for us.

265 lbs      Kari Polli v Louise Chaderito

Next up we see wrestler Kari Polli making his IXF debut following an impressive amateur debut that saw him put his clinch game to the test, a test he easily passed.  His granite chin surely allows him to stand in the pocket or take his opponents into the clinch however with a small sample size its hard to conclude 100% this approach will win out every time.  Standing opposite Polli is undefeated Muay Thai specialist Louise Chaderito who likes to lean towards a very similar gameplan to Polli and possesses a very similar Granite Chin.  Chaderito eeked out a unanimous decision victory in his promotional debut and then quickly followed that performance up with a first round TKO victory after ragdolling his opponent in the clinch.  Polli will enjoy a large reach and height advantage but could that be his undoing in the clinch or will he abandon that gameplan instead looking to strike from range and catch his opponent off guard?  The name of the game here is catching your opponent by surprise but I have a feeling this one will be a battle of wills in the area that has brought them here allowing us to see who has the more resistant chin.  This one has fight of the night written all over it as I expect Polli to control the action early,  wearing down Chaderito and then testing that chin late in round 2 or early in round 3.  We will see if Chaderito has the heart of a lion to withstand this barrage and pull off the victory late.

170 lbs Patrick Watt v Jake Damien

Time to see a classic striker versus grappler matchup as Boxer Patrick Watt steps into the cage for the third time under the IXF banner against BJJ Brown Belt Jake Damien making his second appearance.   Patrick Watt possesses a Big Right Hand who has enjoyed a pair of TKO victories to go with one submission loss.  Standing down the barrel of the Heavy Hands of Watt is Jake Damien who has shown a tendency to bleed which could prove to be his undoing unless he is able to get the fight to the ground where he is easily a much more dangerous fighter.  During Watt’s only loss of his career he showed himself how important it is to not miss with his strikes as it led to a counter takedown and from there his opponent had his way with him ending the festivities early prior to the one minute mark of round 1.  Damien has surely reviewed that fight tape numerous times as he looks to repeat that result on Sunday.  Through 3 fights Watt does not seem to be an overly active fighter, while turning up the heat slightly within the clinch however taking this fight there could prove to be counter productive knowing Damien’s successful take downs could be even more dangerous when adding a possible guard pull to the mix.   This one looks like it could provide fireworks or a devastating tap then snap ending but my money is on the pyro technics paying the audience a visit and Damien’s lights going out to facilitate the show!

265+ lbs Mizark Coleman v Jorlan Vieira

The final fight of our main card sees the big men step into the cage to get the show started right.   This one seems as though these 2 behemoths are staring back at one another from a mirror as their height and skills are as close to identical as you are going to find, only being separated by 25 lbs of extra fat on the frame of Mizark Coleman compared to the slightly smaller but just as effective Jorlan Vieira.   Coleman and his Solid Chin enjoyed a very successful amateur debut that lasted a mere 0:32 when he was able to get the fight to the ground and sliced and diced his opponent with his first strike and then brought the BOOM with a devastating hammerfist that put out the lights.  Unfortunately during his second fight the main achievement he enjoyed was in bleeding all over the canvas as his offensive attacks were unsuccessful during the first round and he was not able to get the fight back to his bread and butter, as 6 strikes later Coleman was out cold on the floor.   Unlike Coleman, Vieira prefers to use his wrasslin acumen within the clinch where he has shown some scary power unleashing a devastating attack that ended the night early in both his amateur and IXF debut fights, unfortunately in his follow up performance a Heavy Handed nightmare that knocked him down twice in the first round and sealed the deal almost 3:00 into the second round.  I don’t see Vieira changing up his gameplan much here as his clinch game could very well cause Coleman to bleed out before our very own eyes and that’s exactly what my prediction is for this one, as a TKO Cut stoppage will get the ball rolling in what will certainly be another exciting and successful event for Island Xtreme Fighting!

Undercard fights

185 lbs        Nikolay Leonov v Guilherme Godoi
170 lbs        Steve Cannson v Sorrenco Cistiffufs
185 lbs        Jeb Freeman v Steele Campbell
265 lbs        Jon Walker v Victor Valachi
170 lbs        Roy Keane v Brazilian Powaaah

There you have it folks, IXF will continue their dominance as they look to continue to build on their already successful start to the Island Season as IXF X will be a springboard to even bigger shows coming up in the near future!!  Hope you enjoy the fights today and in the future, continue to check in here for more fun and excitement!

Phuc Dat "Humongous" Bich (4-0): Well finally somebody made it past the 1st minute lol but not the second :)

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/sub.jpg
Bich has his feet on Nicodeme's thighs here. He's pushed Nicodeme off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nicodeme screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Phuc Dat Bich!
Phuc Dat Bich decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

IXF XI
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 7 Apr 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: Hard Knocks - The Island (3,000)

Greetings Island Xtreme fight fans and welcome to our first stop at the Hard Knocks watering hole here on the Island.  We have you covered tonight as we close out the show when the first fighter in the companies existence will have gold wrapped around their waist!  Not only that but we will showcase some fireworks, some guys trying to recover from recent losses and of course a show like this wouldn’t be worthy of my time without a high octane midget fight!!

In our Main Event of the evening is a showdown between the Islands #1 ranked Lightweight, undefeated KO artiste Ricky Luciano taking on the #4 ranked Lightweight fighter and fellow undefeated warrior, BJJ specialist Hells No.  This battle adds the intrigue and suspense as the winner will not only have his hand raised in victory, but he will forever be remembered as the Fight Promotions very first crowned champion.

155 lbs  Ricky Luciano v Hells No

Ricky steps into the cage for his 5th time this season and the 4th time under the IXF umbrella with a explosive arsenal of punches, never one to lay back in wait on his prey, Luciano goes after it and takes no prisoners landing at over a 70% rate and let me tell you folks, you get hit, you go to sleep!  Luciano is known to wear his heart on his sleeve however to date he has shown a determination to be the last man standing in each of his trips to the cage.  Standing opposite him is an accomplished BJJ Brown Belt who may just possess the Granite Chin to be Luciano’s kryptonite.  His undoing may very well be his inability to land any strikes he has thrown thus far in his career however he makes up for it with over 80% success rate when taking the fight to his favorite place, the ground.   The last time Luciano faced off against a Granite chinned opponent he was making his professional debut at IXF II, where he was not able to seal the deal with a finish, taking until the final frame to cut, rock and knockdown his opponent however it was not enough leaving him to settle for a unanimous decision victory.  I am sure he has learned from that fight as he prepares for tonight showdown and will make the required adjustments.  No on the other hand has not yet fully reached his potential as he has gone the distance in 2 of his 3 career fights, the last one being a controversial judges draw.  Depending on whose fight camp you talk to, both combatants feel they did enough to earn the win but that’s all in the past now, as you cant dwell on that shit man, just go after it!  This one will surely send the fight fans home happy but I am not happy with having to call a winner, I have been here before and been called out on it rightfully so, but I think the fact Luciano has never had to defend a takedown will be his undoing as No will drag him down and score a boring yet effective UD

265+ lbs Torrasso Fisticuffs v Brook Brokovsky

Next up we are going to see a pair of giants enter the cage as undefeated Muay Thai specialist Torrasso Fisticuffs looks to shut the lights of Michael Bisbing wanna be Brook Brokovsky out.  Fisticuffs has a Big Right Hand that is known to cause serious brain damage, especially during his unsanctioned backyard fight days.  Not much footage exists of those battles but we hear brutal is not the word one would use.  Whether the fight is at range or in the clinch Fisticuffs lands at just over 50% of the time and that’s all he needs, because when he touches you up your lights go out!  Brokovsky has enjoyed a successful career thus far however he did taste the bitterness of defeat in his last trip to the cage at IXF IV when he was skunked in all his offensive attempts before needing the ref to step in and save his ass from further punishment.  Using his huge reach and height advantage Brokovsky has been very successful with his offensive attacks both at range and in the clinch to go with an impressive 80%+ success rate with his takedowns however in this one, he will be hard pressed to lean solely his intelligence as he will need to add in a wing and a prayer to come out the victor!  Both guys badly need to hit the laundromat as their clothes are getting severely ratty and may play a role in the outcome here but I am calling it here as this one doesn’t last longer then 1 round and Fisticuffs ends it in dramatic fashion looking to add to his KOTN swag.

205 lbs  Johnny Cannons v Abdul Kadir

Next up is a battle between a pair of Light heavyweight fighters looking to get back to the winning ways from earlier in their careers.  When faced with greatness and a shot at IXF Gold, both these guys crumbled under the pressure!   This one features a Muay Thai/Wrassler mix in Cannons throwing down with a BJJ Brown belt in Kadir.  Cannons is clearly a bleeder with some pop in his hands, as long as he can defend against the strikes he is never out of any fight however he did show in his last fight he is susceptible to submissions and I am sure Kadir will be out to expose that early.  Through 3 career fights thus far Cannons only likes to deploy a boxing offensive a gameplan he has deployed effectively while at range, however when taken into the clinch he was easily dragged to the floor and will be looking to avoid a similar fate in this one at all costs.  Meanwhile Kadir has thrown out some low success punch attempts in his previous trips to the cage both at range and within the clinch, however he did enjoy the most success when dragging his opponent to the ground from within the clinch in his only attempt.  I have a feeling he has watched the fight tape closely and will be looking for a similar window of opportunity in this one knowing that’s where he holds the advantage.  With this type of matchup it could go either way, and I expect to see Cannons come out guns a blazing earning a flash KO and compete for the KOTN award

205 lbs  Savage Opress v Diamond Hand

Up next we have a Light Heavyweight battle that pits the Wonderful Muay Thai fighter Opress against Wonderful wrassler Hand.  Opress comes into this one undefeated in both his professional fights under the IXF banner, both victories were 1st round finishes brought on by his Big Right Hand.  Opress likes to pick his opponents apart at range where he enjoys successful punches but has yet to attempt any kicking strikes but where he is most dangerous is when inside the clinch where he is yet to miss an offensive strike attempt.  Will Opress prefer to put his height and reach advantage to work or will he look to take this one into the clinch where he likes to maul his opponents?  Facing off on the other side of the cage is Diamon Hand who is making his promotional debut following a 1-1 record in the now defunct Colossus MMA Fight Promotion.  In his pro debut he suffered an early submission defeat against recently signed Phuck Yermotha and then made up for that defeat with a first round stoppage just past the 4:00 mark.  Coming into his last fight he showed he is very confident and his stats prove that point landing at over 80% of his head strike attempts.  Thus far in his career he does not seem to have put his wrestling to work, perhaps tonight is the night he will show off that skillset?  I am not sure however he will have enough to continue his winning ways as I expect Opress to make quick work of him with a KO victory

135 lbs BJ Killoshaw v Squeaky Sneakers

The final fight of our main card is a fight that was put together last minute after previous opponents went MIA.   Killoshaw comes in tonight making his professional debut within IXF and reports we have received anonymously tell us he is already looking past Sneakers as he does not feel he is much of a challenge at all.  Killoshaw will enjoy a slight height/reach advantage but we wonder if his spread-out skill set will be his undoing in his career.  Killoshaw has the advantage in the fact he can scout Sneakers 2 fights and will have an idea of what to expect coming his way whereas Sneakers will be coming in blind and merely guessing what to expect.  Based on Primary skills Killoshaw holds a slight Boxing advantage to go with a bigger Muay Thai advantage however is under the gun in the wrestling department.  When looking at Sneakers, he is a bleeder through and through who showed an ability to dominate a BJJ fighter early in his debut when he controlled the pace of action and kept currently undefeated Bantamweight standout Takeshi Yuudai wondering what he was doing wrong until the 3rd round of their fight when he could not defend the takedown and was quickly subbed out.  For sure a demoralizing outcome considering how well he faired in the first portion of the fight however considering the superior manager he was up against not at all surprising.  Knowing he did not want to see history repeat itself he was not going to waste any time in his follow up appearance ending his opponent’s night just past the 1:00 mark of the first round, erasing the questions raised in his first appearance.  Even though we are dealing with the unknown, I prefer to look at what I do, and Sneakers,  though a total bum will be sure to end this one as early as possible and eliminate and possible repeat performances.

Undercard fights

265 lbs                  Lee Tassen v Smile Telheiras
265 lbs                  Balin Trollslayer v Louis Gingerbeard
185 lbs                  Adio Harris v Reid Bloom
265+ lbs               Javier Graves v Yeetr Sokolova
155 lbs                  Necmettin Hoca v Don Peccorino

IXF XII
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 10 Apr 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: Hard Knocks - The Island (3,000)

Welcome Island Xtreme Fight fans to what is surely going to be the biggest event to hit the island thus far in the season!  This show will be fire for sure as it will include 3 of the Islands top 10 p4p fighters and 4 of the top Middleweight warriors looking to lay claim to #1.   We will also see our second Champion crowned as two of the more active Island fighters will collide looking to take home the gold.

Our Main Event of the evening is a showdown between the Islands #1 ranked Middleweight, Muay Thai specialist New Car taking on the #4 ranked Middleweight fighter Wrassling aficionado Mike Ziskie.  These two warriors have stepped into the cage a combined 14 times so far this season holding a combined record of 12-2 and tonight is surely going to be a clash of styles with the winner having his hand raised in victory and the title belt place firmly around his waist.

185 lbs  New Car v Mike Ziskie

New Car enters the cage tonight off a flash finish of Veteran Marcus Behnder at IXF VIII in a mere 0:09 running him over for the second time in three fights.  Car had a gameplan in mind and was not going to be detoured making sure his claim as the top Middleweight fighter was firmly in his hands.  Car is a very strong fighter and his 5 (T)KO finishes proves that point, he also isn’t much for hanging around very long as he has barely been in the cage for more then 2:00 total during his 3 pro fights.  Staring New Car down tonight is Granite chinned Mike Ziskie, who has pulled off an amazing 7 submission victories to go with one defeat while on the amateur circuit.  Ziskie pulled off a first round submission of Car’s training partner in his IXF debut at IXF VIII at the midpoint of round 1 and will be looking for a similar result today.  Landing at 56% of all standing takedown attempts he is confident he will be able to dictate where this fight will take place and is going to be looking to end this one as early as he can and avoid the dangerous striking of Car.  Both fighters look to be coming into this one alittle tired, hopefully that does not tarnish todays results in any way.  I believe in this one, Cars wheels fall off and he tastes a submission defeat for a second time in his career as Ziskie will come out on top with a new bout and an 8th sub victory.

185 lbs New Home v Enzo Williams

In our next fight we see a very similar matchup to the nights Main Event as Muay Thai fighter New Home faces off against Wrestler Enzo Williams.  New Home is managed by the same puppet master as New Car and he has the same exact fight style, he wants to shut your lights out as fast as he can so he can head home and relax in style.  Unlike his training partner, he possesses true KO power in his hands which is surely going to be bad news for his dance partner tonight.  During his 5 trips to the cage he relies mostly on head punches landing at 55% of his attempts with a secondary attack towards the body where he is much more successful at 75%.  Home does not focus much on his defence as his opponents land at around a 70% rate on head strikes and 63% body strikes but the more glaring stat is he is yet to defend a takedown attempt.  Williams on the other hand was a FA pickup by Island picador Callum McGregor and is looking to continue with his winning ways to seek a shot at gold in a top flight Fight Promotion.  Word backstage is the going is too tough here in IXF and he has requested the release of all his fighters so he can find them easier fights elsewhere, but has a tendency to sack them following embarrassing L’s before management can hit the release button.  However that’s not what we are here for, so lets get back to the fight at hand.  Williams is determined to rely on his Big Heart and his successful takedown attempts finishing just under 60% of his attempts at range and 100% from within the clinch.  Once he gets the fight to the ground where he is most comfortable, he has a tendency to just flail about throwing up whatever attempts he sees fit at that moment until something sticks, kinda like mom used to see if the spaghetti was cooked by throwing it at the ceiling to see if it would stick.  His most dangerous weapon is his submission attack but the 9% success rate isn’t entirely scary so hopefully he has worked on that and we see an improvement in the future.  As for today, this one will end quickly as New Home to turn the lights off and curl up on the couch inside of 3:00 of round 1.

185 lbs  Ebubekir Siddik v Jeb Freeman

Once again we look towards the Middleweight division as undefeated wrestler Siddik (I refuse to try and type that first name again let alone say it dammit) faces off against BJJ specialist Jeb Freeman.   Siddik is an IXF veteran  having won all three of his dances including his last appearance where he pulled off a lopsided 30-26 victory over former Island #1 p4p fighter Ache Guarani.  We have yet to see Siddik throw an offensive strike in any of his fights to date, relying solely on the takedown where he has been successful in 100% of his tries.  Once on the ground he works his way into a dominant position and lays waste to his opponents landing his ground and pound attempts at a whopping 96%.  Knowing Siddik is very quick, he will be looking to use that to his advantage to get the fight where he wants it however that could prove to be his undoing knowing his opponent is most comfortable on the mat as well.  Freeman possesses a Granite chin which will likely come in very handy today as he is sure to take some punishment from Siddik.  To date Freeman is 1-1 in his career and also maintains a 100% takedown success rate however differing from Siddik in what he does once he gets there, he prefers to advance just about as much as attempt submissions landing at a 33% rate when going for the tap or snap.  Under normal circumstances I would say Siddik has the advantage and should pull this one out, but I cant stand that fucking name so my money’s on him coming up big with the L today as Freeman will grab hold of a limb and contort it in ways the body is not meant to bend until he is forced to tap for dear life!

170 lbs Zhang Wei v Eddie Bravo

And its rematch time here in IXF as we watch 2 warriors look to settle the score that could not be settled back at IXF IX.  Wei is an odd ball who enjoys standing while reading his comics or enjoying a musical however he has still enjoyed a successful start to his season having won 5 fights in his 7 trips to the cage.  Eddie Bravo on the other side of the cage has serious KO power however has never put it to good use, preferring to fight on the ground where he had successfully landed 4 sub victories compared to one defeat until he ran into Wei.  Their fight was far from a barn burner, as Wei missed on most of his strike attempts and Bravo landed 40% of his takedowns, from there both fighters basically flopped around trying to improve their positioning however were only successful a combined 47%.  They both worked for 15 submission attempts however neither combatant could find success.  I called Bravo for the victory last time around and I am going to stick with it as I believe he will make the required adjustments to pull out the victory, lets just hope this one doesn’t drag on like the last one.

205 lbs Max Strasburg v Carlton Yonge

Kicking off our main card tonight is a Light Heavyweight showdown between Remarkable wrestler Max Strasburg and Proficient wrestler Carlton Yonge.  Strasburg is an IXF original who sometimes battles which side of the confidence fence he prefers, losing in his debut by way of Guillotine submission but coming back in his follow up securing the Arm Triangle finish.  His original manager saw something he didn’t like and cast him astray and has since been reclaimed by new management looking to continue on with his winning ways.  Facing off against Strasburg is Determined fighter Carlton Yonge, who has enjoyed a pair of submission victories on the amateur circuit, and will be making his Professional debut today.  Yonge comes at his opponents with a wide range of attacks from striking at distance, to some clinch work and a well balanced ground game.   My money is on Yonge to continue his winning ways and beat up Strasburg before ending the fight in round 2.

Undercard fights

205 lbs                  Matthew Quigley v Phuck Yermutha
135 lbs                  Brett Shoenfeld v Pat Risher
145 lbs                  Leon Smalls v Issac
185 lbs                  War Path v Wanderlei Nogueira
205 lbs                  Larry Legend v Sergey Vinogradov

What a great night of fights we have in store for you fight fans, records will be broken, championships will be won and contenders will be clearly defined.  Don’t blink or you will miss some of the action!

"Williams on the other hand was a FA pickup by Island picador Callum McGregor and is looking to continue with his winning ways to seek a shot at gold in a top flight Fight Promotion.  Word backstage is the going is too tough here in IXF and he has requested the release of all his fighters so he can find them easier fights elsewhere, but has a tendency to sack them following embarrassing L’s before management can hit the release button. I liked your post, in case there is an confusion on who may have done so.  Also as you most recently requested I have offered to loan both guys to the new KT Org.  Best of luck to them there I am sure they will flourish.  And for the record as I know you are big on trying to make me look bad, let’s agree to disagree and move along there is no room for this kind of bickering on the forums, only makes you look bad.

                                                              IFX XIV (PREVIEW)

                                      1616951693IXF%20XIV.jpg

DATE: APRIL 17TH 2021

ARENA: HARD KNOCKS

START TIME: 17:00 GMT

CITY: THE ISLAND

Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Matty Fernandez, who btw if you didn’t know already, is set to bring to you all, the preview for yet another! Yes another! High-quality action-packed card in one of the best organizations on the city of Island (I really hope I don’t get mugged off by the fighters and this ends up being a boring event, after my glorious speech above). Moving on, by now I think all of you are surely starting to think what’s this guy on about and what’s so special about this event right? Yes...good. Well, I got a solution for you guys to find out the reason of me doing so...but, to get that solution, all you need to do is have a look below, and therefore let’s not waste anymore time and see what we have in store for you guys in this mega event...

UNDERCARD BOUTS

1) Steve “Crawdad” Cannson vs Durans Helmsfrid (Welterweight division [170 LBS])

Starting off todays event will be an absolute banger of a grappling match, and I say grappling cause honestly, I don’t really see this fight having anything to do with standup striking and all that, therefore if you are a guy looking for some action packed knockouts, then you might wanna avoid this fight. But then again, don’t expect this one to be a boring fight in any way because, in Cannson [4 wins 0 losses] and Helmsfrid [2 wins 1 loss], we have two exceptional technicians of the ground game, one a purple belt and the other a blue belt respectively, who know nothing better than submitting their opponents, so I think this one will be a very enjoyable watch.

Now looking at the fighters, Cannson is currently on a pretty long winning streak to be fair, and at just 18 years old, he is only gonna improve by leaps and bounds in the next few years...He is a kid who definitely loves his first round submissions doesn’t he? But tell you what, his ground game is literally second to none in the welterweight division, but when I asked his coach about his training, he kind of gave away the fact that this kid has added many more repertoires to his already growing list of skillsets, and therefore all I can say is, beware of the Crawdad!!

His opponent on the other hand tho, does not really have the same amount of hype on his back, mainly because of his one and only loss to another one of the hottest welterweight prospects around, which tbh, isn’t that bad a loss to take... but nonetheless Helmsfrid is no slouch when it comes to showcasing his skills on the ground, and if you don’t believe me, then just look at his last fight for example, which he dominated btw and won too... therefore, he will be desperate to win this fight, not only to back that first win up, but also show the world, that apart from a win against the minnows, he actually can indeed beat the big boys around the place too.

PREDICTION: Steve Cannson wins via submission [Round 2]

2) Roy Keane vs Isai “Groovy” Anderson (Welterweight division [170 LBS])

Next up in the list is definitely one of the most interesting matchups of the night, as we have a striker vs grappler matchup guys...and let’s be honest, there ain’t nobody who doesn’t like the classic fight of contrasting styles, as at the end of the day, we are pretty much guaranteed a finish (be it a submission or a knockout), so expect this one to be a fight which is going to bring out some fireworks [KO], or some stars in the night sky [submission].Right, now as I have pretty much covered the background to this matchup, let’s take a look at both the contestants in this fight...shall we?

Roy Keane (and please don’t think this is the legendary irish footballer/soccer player) is a 25 year old Muay Thai specialist, who carries with himself a pretty healthy professional record of [1 win 0 losses]… Now this guy might not be the youngest going round the weight class nowadays, but don’t let that make ya’ll underestimate his skill levels, cause this guy has one hell of a solid chin, along with the fact that, boy! he can pack a punch alright, which was proven in his professional debut, where he comfortably brushed aside his opponent within the very first minute of the night, which in turn earned him the  {KO of the Night} award. Hence, as told by his coaches in the pre-fight press conference, when this guy fights, expect fireworks.

On the other end, Anderson is a 25 year old grappler hailing out of United States, who is all but set to make his professional debut in this fight. Now, tbh, I for one can’t really tell you for sure what to expect from this guy, other than the obvious fact that he will definitely try his level best to get this fight to the ground, because apart from a few sparring clips of his, no one has seen him fight, so one this is for sure, expect the unexpected from this kid, cause, that’s really what we say for all debutants basically. But nevertheless, if the stuff that his coaches were bragging about in presser are even half the truth, then expect a good showing from this guy.

PREDICTION: Roy Keane wins via TKO [Round 1]

3. BJ “C-EPO” Killoshaw vs Agent Orange (Bantamweight Division [135 LBS])

The third fight of the night will take us to a very intriguing matchup between two fighters, whose confidences are at very different places at the moment, as killoshaw is coming into this fight on the back of a pretty poor performance on his debut, but orange on the other end, is buzzing after a near complete domination on his debut where he really impressed everyone... Now both these guys have contrasting styles of fighting, hence with Killoshaw desperately looking for a win and Orange looking to continue his good start to his career, expect this one to be one of the fights to watch out for. Now tho, let’s take a closer look at both the fighters...

Killoshaw is a rather interesting fighter tbh, cause he doesn’t really specialize in any fighting style, rather he is a mixture of everything...now sometimes that might give you an advantage in a fight, but on most occasions, that might turn out to be the reason of your downfall, and I am talking facts here, cause in his debut, he unfortunately never really got going in the fight at all, losing in very disappointing fashion, therefore, at 25 years old he really has to get his career up and running soon, cause there won’t be too many opportunities ahead for him to prove himself to the public. So expect him to come out all guns blazing in this bout for sure.

Orange on the other hand, is another one of the very promising 25 year old grapplers in our organization, who is coming into this fight with his confidence at an all time high, because unlike his opponent, he actually put in a highly polished performance on his debut, winning the fight comfortably and straight away putting his name amongst the mix of fighters to watch out for in this division...and hence with his future looking bright, he will be looking to continue his winning run in this fight and continue his steady climb towards the top of the rankings in the Bantamweight Division.

PREDICTION: Agent Orange wins via submission [Round 2]

4. Mfer Phol vs Frank “Smiley” Blank (Super-Heavyweight Bout [265+ LBS])

Now next up is probably the most interesting matchup of the event, as Phol, a much younger yet much more experienced fighter, on a nice winning streak, takes on an unproven 25 year old in Blank, who would definitely be coming into this fight with absolutely nothing to lose, as this is pretty much a free hit for him, whereas for Phol, this is simply a match which he cannot afford to lose, or else all the good work he has done over his past couple fights, will ultimately be for nothing...so make sure to watch this fight, cause believe me, this fight will definitely be a classic. But before we move on, let’s take a closer look at the fighters.

First up, Phol is another one of the relative newcomers to the sport, who at just 18 years of age has already made quite a name for himself...and I am pretty sure the record of [2 wins 0 losses] helped his cause a lot. He is a guy who definitely likes to end his fights early for sure, as he finished both of his fights within the first two or so minutes, and therefore as said by his head coach, he is hungry and really wants another early knockout real bad...so guys, when this fight starts, don’t blink! But apart from some solid punch power and some nasty knee strikes, he is a great wrestler, and therefore, if you are his opponent, then for your own sake, try to follow covid guidelines and be at an arms length from this dude.

Now Blank on the other end, is a 25 year old boxer, who is set to make his debut in a professional organization. Now he is much the older fighter in this contest, but experience wise, apart from a convincing win in an amateur QFC fight, there’s not much else to show for him, but with a professional record of [1 win 0 losses] his confidence is as high as it could be, and with nothing to lose, he is definitely going to come out all guns blazing, in the hopes of winning the biggest fight of his life, and proving to the doubters that he is indeed ready to compete and stay in this level of competition.

PREDICTION: Mfer Phol wins via TKO (Round 1)

5. Zeus "Big Dog" Turner vs Ser Gregor "The Mountain " Clegane (Super-Heavyweight Bout [265+ LBS])

Now moving on from the boys coming into their fights high on confidence, in this fight, we have two guys who know that they desperately need to win this fight, or else they might not have a very long future in this organization anymore...and hence, this gigantic battle between the grappler and the striker, is definitely one that you fans might not wanna miss at all, cause as we know it, when people get desperate, they do some crazy things, so whatever you do, make sure not to miss this one... Alright, enough said about the fight, now let’s concentrate on the two contestants...

Turner is a 25 year old striker, who very recently made his debut in a professional organization (here), where in he suffered a first blip in his once perfect record...now although many would say that this guy has a granite chin, well his last defeat proved otherwise, but all in all, with a professional record of [2 wins 1 loss] he is still just starting off his career... But after that last loss, which incidently was his first, he has been working really hard to correct the wrongs, and he has improved leaps and bounds since his last bout according to his coaches, therefore expect him to make an instant statement in this fight for sure and also make sure to not take your eyes off of this fight.

Now Clegane on the other hand is somewhat an IXF veteran, but with a professional record of [1 win 2 losses] let’s just say it hasn’t been the rosiest of times that he has spent in here... He like many-many others is also a grappler, but his standup game is undoubtedly woeful, and has caused him some serious troubles during his fights in the past...but his coaches have assured all his fans that he has been going through some rigorous sparring sessions with some of the best strikers in the game, and therefore hopefully we can see some improvement in his standup game in this fight, cause we know that if this fight ever goes to the ground, then there is only one winner.

PREDICTION: Zeus Turner wins via TKO [Round 2]

MAIN CARD

6. Brett Shoenfeld vs David Otunga (Bantamweight Bout [135 LBS])

Starting off our main card is another one of the many grappling matchups that we have in store for you today, as in Shoenfeld and Otunga, we have two of the most promising wrestlers/ Grapplers in the Bantamweight division, who are set to square off in the middle of the cage, hoping to find out who is the better of the two. Now these two are actually in quite decent form of late with victories in their previous fights respectively, and therefore, I am pretty sure that both of them would ideally love to continue their winning run, so expect some aggression from both sides, which in turn should make this fight worth watching for all you guys for sure. Ok enough about the fight, let’s move onto the fighters now...

Now Shoenfeld is a 25 year old grappler with very decent wrestling skills, who had a disastrous start to his career here at IXF, but since then, he has really worked hard during training and finally managed to get his first ever win in a professional organization on his previous fight. As we already know, when it comes to wrestling and grappling, there are very few better than him in the weight class, but when it comes to his standup prowess, well, it’s not one to be proud of let’s say. Now he is a guy who likes the fight to end early, be it submitting his opponent, or getting himself knocked out, he does it effortlessly within the first round itself... but with some good form and a high morale behind him, I for one expect him to put in a good performance in this fight, so my suggestion on this guy will be, make sure to keep an eye out for him in this bout.

On the other hand, Otunga is another 25 year old grappler, although a much lower skill wise than his opponent, and is also another one of the guys who are just about starting off their careers as a pro... He is a guy who has been touted to do some big things in the future by some very prominent names in the business, and honestly, so far he has arguably backed it up with some good performances in dominating wins over at QFC level, but unfortunately for him, fighting in  a promotion is definitely a step up compared to QFC, and hence he will look to continue his winning run and try to improve his pro record of [2 wins 0 losses], so that he can prove to all his critics, that he is indeed good enough to cut it at this level...and as he said in the press conference, he is ready! So let’s wait and watch if he is indeed or not.

PREDICTION: Brett Shoenfeld wins via submission [Round 3]

7. Ache “Republica” Guarani vs Guilherme Godoi (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

Well-well-well, now this is where the competition starts to get real serious guys cause next up, we have a bout that is sure to get some juices flowing in amongst the audience for sure, as in Guarane and Godoi, we not only find ourselves witnessing yet another classic striker vs grappler bout, but we also get to see the actual top contenders of the middleweight division, set to battle it out, to well, basically stay in the race for a shot at a #1 contender spot I guess...hence with a lot on the line, we are surely going to see one of the best fights of the evening, which will definitely make our day, cause both these fighters know that nothing but a win would do, so expect a cracking fight in this one people and make sure not to take your eyes off this fight, as we know that this one could finish in the blink of an eye...anyways, with that being said, let’s take a look at the fighters involved.

First up, we probably have one of the single most feared grapplers on the middleweight division in the shape of Guarani, who btw, after a fantastic run of victories, got this close to a title shot, but unfortunately he blew it to the man who is the current #1 contender...but nonetheless, he still isn’t completely out of the title picture and he knows that another win against a fellow contender would surely get him back in that title picture...hence with a pro record of [2 wins 1 loss] and a will to get things right which he probably didn’t in his previous fight, he will be desperate to win this fight, so that he can somehow prove to everyone that he is indeed a rightful contender for that elusive title...so don’t miss this battle royal!

His opponent Godoi on the other hand, has been slowly chipping away with some good victories in recent weeks and has suddenly found himself possibly close to the top #5 in the division, but undoubtedly, this is his toughest challenge yet... still tho, with a confidence that is at a sky high level and a perfect pro record of [2 wins 0 losses], he will definitely come into this fight looking to win, cause he knows, another win against a big name, would surely get him ever closer to a title shot. Now he is a boxer, so if this fight doesn’t go to the ground early as expected, expect this dude to win, plain and simple, but as always, we can only wait and watch.

PREDICTION: Ache Guarani wins via submission [Round 1]

CO-MAIN EVENT

8)                Marcus      Behnder           vs           Jake     Damien        (Welterweight Bout [170 LBS])

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Marcus Behnder            VS     Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Jake Damien

Now then, just before we move into the title bout which most if not all of you are waiting for, we have yet another belter of a contest in the co-headliner people, as we might just find out our first title challenger in the welterweight division (this is just my opinion, so please don’t moan if you win the fight and don’t get a title shot). Both these fighters are coming in this fight off the back of good wins (in this division) so expect this to be a very close encounter which I would think will be very cagey, with neither fighter looking to give any opportunities to their opponents and in the end I'd expect the fighter with the better tactical plan to win this bout, so as much as this fight is set to be fought between the fighters, well, there is going to be an even bigger battle between the two coaches so as to find out who will prevail in the battle of atrition, blood, sweat and hopefully no tears. Ok with that out of the way, let’s take a look at the two fighters...

Behnder is a 25 year old grappler hailing out of Canada, who has had a really interesting career so far...He started off his career on fire, and with a pro record of [4 wins 0 losses] he was really one of the most feared fighters on the roster who no one wanted to mess with, but then suddenly with a title fight in sight, he suddenly made his move over to Middleweight, where in he unfortunately lost all the strength advantage that he had in lower weight classes, and got mugged twice by one of the best middleweights currently in the organization...but finally, now after a while, he is back where he belongs once again to, in his words, “conquer the conquests” which means to win the title basically, which we all know he is more than capable of doing, so make sure to keep an eye out for him, cause if you want some first round entertainment, he is the guy to watch.

Damien on the other hand, is also a 25 year old submission specialist, who has been slowly but surely climbing up the ladder towards the top of the welterweight division, and his pro record of [2 wins 0 losses] helps his argument. But, this is by far the single biggest fight of his career so far, and as he told us in his press conference, “you only get these chances once, so I have to make sure that I do not mess this up”, he is definitely fully focused on winning this fight and showing the world, that he is indeed good enough for a title shot, so expect a proper performance from this guy, as we know when he turns it up, very few can live with his aggression.

PREDICTION: Marcus Behnder wins via unanimous decision [Round 3]

MAIN EVENT

9.          Takeshi "Turbo" Yuudai         vs         Squeaky Sneakers    (Bantamweight Title Fight [135 LBS])

Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Takeshi Yuudai            VS      Mixed Martial Arts Fighter - Squeaky Sneakers

And just like that, we have finally arrived to the fight that you all have been waiting for, it's time ladies and gents, for us to look forward to the epic title fight involving a rematch between two of the very best the bantamweight division has to offer. Now, these two have been quite  long standing foes to each other, and we all know that they don't particularly like each other either... The last time these two fought, Yudaai was much the experienced of the two having already competed in 4 fights before that, winning all of them, but on the other end, Sneakers was making his pro debut in the fight...alas the end result was as expected, with Yuudai winning the fight rather comfortably. Sneakers was obviously devastated with the loss as he was coming into that fight with a lot of hype, but since then, this guy has been on a rampage, destroying everyone in his path and even winning the KO of the Night once, so i expect this bout to be a much closer encounter than the last one, and with both fighters having a different fighting style, this will definitely be one of the matches which no matter where you are, you don't wanna miss.

Among the two fighters involved, Yuudai is of course a 25 year old grappler who has had an absolutely flawless career so far, winning all 5 bouts that he has competed in, the last one being against his opponent for this bout, but, one thing that is cannot go unnoticed, is the fact that he hasn't fought quite as regularly as his opponent, and therefore there might just be some rustiness that he would probably need to shake off, which might cause him some trouble during the bout, but on the other end, he is much the fresher guy coming into this bout, so the longer this bout goes, the more advantage he will get...but he doesn't like taking fights any longer than the first round, so we would have to see how he could react to going longer in a bout...nonetheless, he is definitely going to go into this fight as the clear favourite, and would hope to put in a good performance, to finally accomplish his long standing dream and win the title that he has craved for so long.

His opponent Sneakers on the other end, is a striker, who as i said before, is currently on destruction mode..as after losing that first fight to Yuudai, he has won his next two fights within the blink of an eye, and i mean literally, he has. Now unlike his opponent, he likes to maintain a distance during fights, so that he can use his outrageous punching power and knock out his opponents , which was there for all to see in his previous bout, but for this fight, he will probably need to be very smart and agile, cause we pretty much know, that if he gets taken down even once, it could very well be curtains for him...He is going into this fight as the underdog, but as we know it, in a title fight, anything could happen at any point of time, and therefore, he would be hoping to pull out a shock win out the bag on this one, and finally win the coveted title that he so dearly wants.

PREDICTION: Takeshi Yuudai wins via submission [Round 4] and becomes the new IXF Bantamweight champ

And so with that, we have finally come to the conclusion of another great event that is set to take place here at IXF...Hopefully you all liked the preview and until next time, stay safe and have a good day!

IXF XV
Organization: Island Xtreme Fighting
Date: 18 Apr 2021
City: The Island (17:00 GMT)
Arena: Hard Knocks - The Island (3,000)

Welcome back Island Xtreme Fight fans to today’s jam packed fight card.  Tonight’s show will be entertaining and will surely blow the roof off the Hard Knocks venue.   Tonight we will see our first title defence along with the Heavyweight Champion will be crowned as one of the big men from the Promotion will suffer their very first defeat.
Our Main Event of the evening is a showdown between the Islands #1 ranked Lightweight, Muay Thai specialist Ricky Luciano taking on the #3 ranked Lightweight fighter BJJ aficionado George Russell.  Tonight is surely going to be a clash of styles with the winner having his hand raised in victory and the title belt place firmly around his waist, will it stay with the Champion or will we see a new King crowned?

155 lbs Ricky Luciano v George Russell - Championship Fight

Ricky steps into the cage looking for the sixth victory of his career with his explosive arsenal of punches, as mentioned in previous articles, Ricky is never one to lay back in wait on his prey, Luciano goes after it and takes no prisoners landing at over a 70% success rate and you get hit, you only know it for a short moment in time because at the snap of a finger, you go to sleep!   Luciano is also not one to be afraid to speak his mind and call out his boss when the time is warranted, perhaps today I will learn from my mistakes, but you will have to continue reading to find out.   Standing opposite Luciano is George Russell who is coming off a quick submission victory in his last trip to the cage.  Speaking of learning it would appear Georgie boy listened to yours truly in his last appearance avenging his previous defeat to Helio Nogueira as unlike previous performances at IXF X he did not fool around at all, taking the fight to the ground and sinking in the RNC on his first attempt.  It appears he has found his ground game winning back to back and earning his shot at the gold.  However unlike previous discussions, this one is all Luciano as I don’t see that freight train being stopped on this night as he will get the finish early in round 2.

265 lbs Phuc Dat Bich v Andrey Karaev - Championship Fight

Up next we see a standoff between a pair of big men who have yet to taste defeat as 4-0 Phuc Dat Bich takes on 3-0 Andrey Karaev to stake their claim on IXF HW Gold.  Bich is a wrestler with a dangerous submission game in his arsenal who has ended his opponents nights early in each of trips to the cage with his last appearance being the longest night of work in his career having lasted a lengthy 1:59.  Bich seems to have a fairly predictable approach, clinch, takedown and snap and a tap landing 67% of his submission attempts.  His good chin has not really been tested that much thus far in his career however tonight could very well be the night it does as he takes on a solid boxer in Karaev.  Andrey Karaev is undefeated thus far and seemed to be quite the active puncher throwing just over 60 strike attempts per fight until his last appearance when he toned down his activity level and took a more precise approach landing the KO victory in just under 2 minutes.   I don’t believe he will need to rely much on his solid chin tonight, the focus will be on staying on his feet and knocking Bich’s head into the third row of spectators.  One of the more exciting fighters in the IXF fold will be looking to continue that trend as Karaev has won an OTN award in each of his trips to the IXF cage.  Karaev is one of my favorite fighters, and I certainly hope this prediction is wrong but I don’t know if his TDD will be at par with Bich’s eagerness to get the fight to the ground, Karaev gets out of the first round of this one but tastes defeat early in round 2 as Bich continues his dominance earning the claim of becoming the inaugural HW Champion.

265 lbs      Louise Chaderito v Lee Tassen

Our next matchup is what likely will see our winner step up to take on the winner of our HW title fight as undefeated Muay Thai wunderkind Chaderito takes on Boxing/wrestler “Roid Monkey” Lee Tassen.   Chaderito does not appear to enjoy much success when standing at range however when he gets the fight into his kitchen within the clinch he simply goes off.  His success rate may not be fantastic but his work rate certainly is as the over 100+ strike attempts within the clinch will attest.  In his last appearance his opponent did not seem to have an answer to his attacks, as he attempted a whopping 152 strike attempts overwhelmed his dance parter and by the time the start of round three took place Polli simply had enough as Chaderito landed a devastating uppercut putting his opponent to sleep standing.   Squaring off opposite Chaderito is former CoMMA fighter Lee Tassen, who won his debut fight back at IXF XI scoring a flash KO a mere 0:34 into round 1.   If there was ever a way to make a statement for your new employer, that folks was it for sure!  Tassen appears to have dynamite in his hands as his high (T)KO result show following a modest amount of strikes thrown.  On average Lee only 7.5 strikes per fight however as stated above, that low output is all he needs to get the job done.  This one should be fairly close however I believe based on skillset and gameplan Chaderito will continue his clinch dominance tonight earning a second round stoppage.

155 lbs Kasper Hansen v Gosuke Del Valle

Its now time for a pair of Wrestlers to do battle in the Lightweight division as visions of a title fight dance in their heads.  Kasper Hansen comes in to tonights showdown with a 2-0 record matched up against fellow 2-0 fighter Gosuke Del Valle.  Hansen has a main focus of getting the fight to the ground and does not try anything else.  So far in his 2 matchups his Granite chin has yet to be tested has not one strike has been attempted let along landed on that chin.  Once to the ground Hansen focuses on advancing position along with a large volume of submission attempts, eventually landing the winning tap then snap.   Del Valle on the other side seems like a total mirror image of Hansen however at a shorter stature.  Del Valle tends to rely more on a counterattack, but make sure you don’t blink or you will miss his very quick offensive attack.  Much like Hansen, Del Valle has yet to attempt anything other then takedown attempt and has yet to have his chin tested, I don’t believe today is the day that will change.  He lands his takedowns at roughly the same success rate of Hansen however once on the ground he prefers to mostly flail about trying to find a submission that will stick.  Coming into this one he seems to posses a much higher morale value in himself and his abilities and I strongly believe that even though he is more kamikaze in his approach, he will seal the deal with a submission stoppage in round 3.

155 lbs Joaquim Mourao v Koa Nightmarcher

Our main card tonight starts in the Lightweight division as we see Joaquim Mourao pitted up against Koa
Nightmarcher.   Mourao is an experienced brawler making his professional debut following a 5 fight amateur career winning 3 of his fights via submission against a pair of defeats.  Joaquim has moved up in weight after seeing all of his fights take place at 155 however we don’t see a very big difference in size compared to Nightmarcher.   Much like Hansen in our next fight, Mourao seems to be fighting the morale bug as it seems to have dipped due to a lack of laundry services in his immediate area.  Focusing solely on the takedown, Joaquim works to get the fight to the ground and then spreads out his attacks while enjoying great success with ground and pound and moderate success on his submission attempts.   Nightmarcher is suffering slightly from the same lack of laundry support but not quite as serious.  He prefers to look for a more balanced approach and unlike Mourao, his focus is more on the standup game and less on getting the fight to the ground, however if the fight is taken there he does have some skills to try and defend and even throw up some offensive attempts from time to time.  Given the heavy hands he possesses and his preference to lean towards a counter attack the opening might be there to shut the light out quickly but if he stands back too long waiting for an opening he will find himself on his back fighting for his life.  At the end of the day our belief is the morale deficiency holding Mourao back will be his undoing as Nightmarcher will continue his winning ways with a second round stoppage.

Undercard fights

265 lbs     Balin Trollslayer v Yeetr Sokolova
170 lbs    Patrick Watt v Sorrenco Cistiffufs
170 lbs    Sum Young Gai v Haole Boy
155 lbs    Snake Jones v Mike Carpenter
170 lbs    Yeves The Soul Rapist v Jean Sebastian Joly

We have another action packed night of fights for all you Island fight fans, look forward to seeing you in attendance and all our talented fighters in action!

DATE: 24th of April 2021

ARENA: HARD KNOCKS (THE ISLAND)

START TIME: 17:00 (GMT)

CITY: THE ISLAND

Hello and welcome back guys, especially the hardcore Island Xtreme Fighting fans across the globe, to what is sure to be the preview of one of the most exciting and action packed cards that you will ever see in the city of Island...And i say that with full consciousness, as tonight's event features not only two of the most highly anticipated title fights in the short history of the organization, but it also provides us with some absolutely brilliant matchups by our owner Mr. DePalma, which is sure to bring about some fireworks in that cage, and make this event worth the entrance fee...So without further adieu, let's get straight into the fights that we have in store for you tonight...

MAIN CARD

Featherweight Feature Bout (145 LBS): Leon Smalls vs Char Clip Snit

The opening bout of the main card, takes us to matchup between a Grappler and a Muay Thai Striker respectively, who tbh, even at pretty much the same age are at very different stages of their respective careers here at IXF...but nonetheless, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that both these lot still have a lot to do, to prove that they are indeed good enough to carve out a long term future for themselves in this sport, and therefore in the bout, for these two, a win is not a need, but a necessity. Right, now as we are doing with a little background check on this fight, let's take a closer look at the two fighters involved...

Smalls as previously told, is a grappler born out of one of the very famous cities in Canada (Toronto), known for producing some of the most talented wrestlers actively competing across the globe for various organizations (Surely this smalls dude can't be that bad then eh?)...He is 25 years old, and tbh, he's had a flying start to life  here in IXF, as he is currently sitting pretty at the top of the rankings in the Featherweight division with a perfect (1-0) record at Featherweight [(2-1) overall], and to be fair on him, it does look like he is currently the best fighter in this division...Therefore, he will be hoping to continue his winning run in this bout, to not only stamp is authority at the top of the rankings, but also move one step closer to his dream of winning a title at a major organization.

His opponent on the other hand, is a 25 year old Striker, who let's be honest, even with a professional record of [4-2], is a pretty unproven commodity, but to give him credit where it's due, in the past three fights, all of which he has won, it really looked like he has turned a new leaf in his career and for once looked like he is the real deal...but unfortunately, after a change of management, none of us are really sure how he is gonna approach this bout, or what is his mental state...and therefore, for his sake, hopefully he is looking to win this bout on his IXF debut, to show everyone that all those QFC wins were actually not a fluke and he is indeed good enough to compete at this level.

Prediction: Leon Smalls wins via Submission (Round 2)

Super-Heavyweight Feature Bout (265+ LBS) Mizark "The Smesher" Coleman vs Adam Wright "The Atomic Bomb"

So next up in the list, is going to be yet another classic Grappler/Wrestler vs Striker bout, featuring two of the most exciting prospects in the Super Heavyweight division, who are looking to make a name for themselves in this organization...But as we all know, they still have a long way to go before they can even come close to achieving that particular target, and therefore with both of them desperate for more wins and wins only, this is sure to be one hell of a bout that you should try not to miss...Right, so now with the fight out of the way, let’s take a look at both the contestants in this match...

Coleman as mentioned above, is a wrestler with some Muay Thai back, who in his own words, came to the Island to be the ultimate “Smesher”...don’t ask me what that means cause I simply don’t have a clue about it. Now, smeshing is one thing, but he really did not have the best start to his life at IXF, as he was knocked out cold in just about 1 and a bit rounds, but since then, according to his coaches, he has been training like a mad man and has improved by leaps and bounds...now most of us would think that it’s his coaches and they will say that, but guys, our guy here, did back up those statements pretty well, as he dominated his opponent in his next bout, and therefore, with an hunger for wins, this guy is sure to put on a show for us tonight.

Now his opponent on the other hand, Is a boxer, who at the age of 25, is basically just about starting off his career atm...He is a pretty raw and unproven talent, who made his pro debut in a QFC bout, which he won pretty convincingly I must say, but as we say, fighting in QFC and fighting in an organization is two very different kettle of fish...so with a pretty decent hype and a morale boosting win behind him, he will be looking to win this bout, to once and for all show the world, that he is ready to compete at the highest level.

Prediction: Adam Wright wins via KO (Round 1)

Welterweight Feature Bout (170 LBS): Juanma “El Loco” Lopez vs “Zhe Zhiong” Zhang Wei

The third bout in the main card features a much awaited grappling contest between yet another very exciting couple of fighters in the Welterweight Division...Now I say grappling, cause these two have been involved in a few fights in their careers respectively, and in nearly all of them bouts, these two have shown the tendency to take the fight to the ground... But with both of them having pretty equal skillsets in the ground, it will be very interesting to watch how this bout unfolds, and therefore be sure not to miss this bout at all...Right, now let’s take a look at both the fighters involved...

Lopez is a 25 year old grappler, who is one of the most experienced QFC fighter in the whole of IXF, and is currently coming into this bout off the back of 4 straight wins for the first time in his career (of course he is)...Now, his morale as you might expect is currently sky high, but the biggest advantage he will have in this bout is his ability to change up his fighting style and suddenly become a striker as he can box too...But luckily for him, I don’t think the same can be said of his opponent and therefore, he will look to win this bout, to mark his entry at IXF in style and achieve one of his lifelong dreams of winning a match at a professional organization.

Now Wei on the other hand, is also a grappler, but unfortunately unlike his opponent, he doesn’t really possess any ability to mix it up during a bout and suddenly start to box or something...He is 25 years old and has a wealth of experience at both IXF and QFC level when compared to some others in this organization, and therefore having come through with flying colors from his rivalry with Eddie Bravo who he beat in his last fight, even his morale is pretty sky high, and therefore with that win behind his back, he will be desperate to win this bout, to once and for all prove to the hierachy, that he is ready to finally take on the big boys in the organization now.

Prediction: Zhang Wei wins via Unanimous Decision (Unanimous Decision)

Now the first of the two title fights tonight, takes us to what could only be described as one of the most evenly matched title fights in the history of this organization, as in our champ vs the number #1 contender today, we have two almost nye-on identically skilled individuals with similar record, age and fighting style, squaring off in the middle off the cage, to once and for all prove to all us fans, and show us as to who is the better among the two...Now this fight is one that the fans have been calling for a very very long time, as in both these individuals, we have clearly found out who are the two best fighters in the division, and as we say, a title fight should always be among the two very best fighters eligible to compete for it, and therefore, here we are, finally getting to witness the matchup of dreams in front of us, and hence, no matter where you are, please do not miss this bout, as these type of matches do not and i mean do not come about oftern.

Hello ladies and gents, this is your boy Matty Fernandez, and honestly, by now you guys surely know what i came here to do, so without me boring you guys with another long intro, let's get straight into the nitty gritty of the actual reason you guys are reading this, shall we? Yes...thank you. Right, let's begin...

MAIN EVENT

"A" New Car {5-2} vs Guilherme Godoi {3-0} (Middleweight [Possible Number #1 Contender] Bout)

Alrighty then, since i guess you guys don't really like the so-called Feature Bouts to be previewed first, let's start off with the biggest banger of a matchup for the event...So, in the main event of the night, and i'll just be very honest here, we have two absolute Killer monsters in the Middleweight Division, who are set to go one on one, in a matchup that i am sure will be one of the most exciting ones our die-hard supporters will never ever forget, cause if you know anything about these two, it's gonna be fireworks from the get go...So, i think i am really hyping up this fight, but there's a reason to that, which will be very evident when you lot get a closer look at the fighters involved...So without further delay, let's analyse them two futher...

Now, Car is definitely by far and away one of the most scariest strikers from range (I.E Boxer) in the whole of the IXF Middleweight Division,. He has had a real up and down start to life here at IXF tbh, cause until now, he has never really put in a solid run of X amount of wins on a trought, it's always been a win followed by a loss and repeat...with both the wins coming against the same guy. Now, i would sort of give him a leeway sometimes cause to be fair on him, he has always fought against the best in the division, last of which was his maiden title bout where he lost...but even then, he is still always right up there on the charts and rankings, trying to beat the very best and rightfully earn himself another title shot, and i respect him for that...But, to earn himself another title shot, he knows that nothing but perfection from now on would do, and hence he will be desperate to win this bout, so that he can once again get right back into contention for that elusive title.

His opponent Godoi on the other hand, is a 25 year old Muay thai striker (Close range striking), who is techically by far one of the very best in the whole organization i think...He has so far had a picture perfect start to life here at IXF, which has rightfully bumped him way up in the rankings and into the mix for a title shot, but we all know, beating the so called minnows is rather easy, but when you come up against the best, you gotta be the best to beat them, and therefore, with his much superior clinching, he will hope to get his opponent right into a clinch from the get go and win this fight, so that he can finally prove to his doubters, that he is indeed ready for a step up in competition, and challenge the big boys in the game.

Prediction: New Car wins via KO (Round 1)

CO-MAIN EVENT

Jake Damien (C) {3-0} vs Patrick Watt {3-2} (Welterweight Title Bout)

So the one and only title fight of the evening takes us to another one of the classic Grappler vs striker contests, and we all know why everyone loves these, don't we? Well, if you somehow don't know the reason tho, here it is...So in a Grappler vs striker bout, we almost always get finishes, as both the fighters possess strength in different areas skillwise, and therefore when during a fight, a situation almost always helps one of the two out, like when the fight is fought standing up, the striker obviously smashes the living hell outta his opponent, and when the fight get's to the ground, the opposite happens, and therefore, these are the bouts, that most of the OG fans of the beautiful game love to watch, so this bout is definitely gonna be one to look out for, and hopefully it lives us to it's billing and provides us with unlimited entertaintment, whch will make our money's worth it.

Taking a closer look at the fighters, i see that the champ Damien is an undefeated professional Grappler, who at the age of 25, is aleady pretty much the man to beat in this division and a possible future HOF er in the long run. Now an unusual thing about this kid is that, when he steps into that cage, he just doesn't win his bouts, oh no, no no...this man, loves to dominate his opponent, to the point where they simply give up and tap out most times...He is a guy with whom you really don't wanna take your fight to the ground, cause once he get's a hold of you, it's basically curtains for the entire round for his opponent, as there is no way to get out of his grip...and therefore with that being said, he will look to win this bout, firstly to retain his title, and then further enhance his legacy as one of the best IXF welterweight fighters ever.

His opponent Watt on the other hand, is a 25 year old boxer on whom i don't really have much to say apart from i don't know which version of him will turn up for the fight...I really don't. Now this is his and Damien's second meeting throughout their short career so far, the first of which was dominated by his opponent tonight, but honestly, if this guy does turn up and performs at his best consistently, he could be one of the best, but the thing is he doesn't, as when he wins, it almost inevitably get's followed up with a loss...But nonetheless, he will hope to turn up at his best in this bout, to win his dream title first of all and also prove all his haters wrong and once and for all show them that he is indeed the real deal.

Prediction: Jake Damien wins via Submission (Round 2) [Retains His Title]

Feature Main Card Bouts

Benny "Steel Fist" West (2-0) vs Zuki "Nico" Nicodeme (3-2) (Heavyweight Bout)

Now this is gonna be a hard fight for the coaches on both sides to set up their tactics tbh, cause honestly, skill wise, these two are pretty much nie-on identical....Now i have seen these two fight very closely and i can tell you one thing, which is that their fighting style and Skillsets are very similar...alongside their age ofcourse, and therefore, i can already see this fight being won on tactics and whoever following them the best will pretty much be the better of the two fighters involved, and will end up with their hands raised at the end of the fight. But, maybe they still might have some chunks in their armour which can be exploited by their opponent, so let's take a closer look at the fighters to see if that's actually the case.

Now West is a 25 year old boxer stright out of the streets of Auckland, New Zealand, who has had an unbelieveable start to his professional career so far. He is currently unbeaten in his two pro fights, one of which was his IXF debut, where he completely annihalated his opponent, yeah i am not joking. He is definitely one of the hype who has a lot of hype surrounding him, with many calling him the next best thing, but for us to idiolise him like that, he knows he has to win and keep winning many many more bouts in the future...So with that being said, he will hope to win this bout, to keep up his winning run, and move him one step closer to his eventual dream of taking part and winning a title fight.

His opponent Nicodeme on the other hand, is a much experienced yet relative unknown commodity in the Heavyweight division...Now on his day, we know he can beat anyone, but unfortunately those days are few and far between...He is a real hard one to read tbh, cause at the start of his career, he was looking like a solid prospect, but then he went on a run of 2 straight losses, before winning a bout very confidently, just like when he first started off...and therefore, i don't really know which version of him will turn up tonight. Nonetheless tho, he is still a very capable fighter as we know and hence he will be hoping to win this bout, to finally unearth the hidden potential that we all know he has, and show the world, that he is more than ready for the big boys in the game and this division.

Prediction: Benny West wins via TKO (Round 1)

Timur Vasiliev {3-0} vs Ser Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane {2-2} (Super-Heavyweight Bout)

Marcus Behnder {5-3} vs Sorrenco Cistiffufs {2-3] (Welterweight Bout)

UNDERCARD BOUTS

Squeaky Sneakers {2-2} vs David Otunga {2-1} (Bantamweight Bout)

Agent Orange {2-0} vs BJ "C-EPO" Killoshaw {0-2} (Bantamweight Bout)

Robert "The Predator" Gastelum {1-0} vs Johnny Le Banner {1-0} (Heavyweight Bout)

Javier "Grande Hermano" Graves {1-2} vs Zeus "Big Dog" Turner {2-2} (Super-Heavyweight Bout)

Jean Sebastian Joly {1-1] vs Earl "The Foot" Wilson {1-0} (Welterweight Bout)

So with that, we have come to the conclusion of yet another high quality action-packed event put together by our fantastic owner Mr DePalma...We hope you enjoyed the preview so until next time...Peace!
