    • HFA 2 REVIEW   Eli Beehi Def. Danny Hall via TKO (Strikes) RD 1 3:23 - Light Heavyweight Bout This main event was a special one with both men being undefeated heading into this one, and neither letting a fight go without a finish. You could only imagine this one would mimic the past, and it did just that. Danny Hall acknowledged the crowd's support when entering the cage. He has a fairly sized reach advantage, and Beehi did not entertain that by closing the distance and clinching immediately. Hall tried to break free, but Beehi kept Hall from escaping and unloaded on him with a mix of punches. Uppercuts, hooks, body shots, and even shoulder strikes. After 3 minutes, Hall got dazed with an uppercut followed by another and another and another until he was finally dropped near the cage. Beehi celebrated with his team and moves on to 5-0. Danny Hall will take on Alexander Montegriffo with a chance to redeem himself at HFA 4. Best Moment: Beehi throws a big uppercut that drops Hall! More strikes from Beehi and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hall lies dazed against the cage as Beehi celebrates with his cornermen!   Damien Frey Def. Lonnie Ringer via TKO (Strikes) RD 1 0:05 - Heavyweight Bout [KO OF THE NIGHT AWARD] With the fastest finish HFA will probably ever see, Damien Frey made Hayashi's Lounge shake with a stunning 5 second finish. Perhaps it was the fact that Lonnie Ringer was tweaking his nipples and staring at Frey before the fight started (PBP actually said this) that got Frey amped up. We will have to see what is next in store for Damien Frey. Congrats to him and his team. Best Moment: Frey circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ringer to the canvas! Ringer doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Frey keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!   Gwynn Kramer Def. Adan Hunt via Submission (RNC) RD 1 2:57 - Super Heavyweight Bout Adan Hunt proved at HFA 1 that he can be dangerous to stand with, and needed to try to keep this one on the feet as well. Gwynn Kramer was coming into this fight unable to find any rhythm thus far in his career with hopes to snap his losing streak. The fight started with an overhand right from Hunt and a stuffed takedown attempt. Kramer knew he needed the takedown and shot again with a double leg and this time he got it, landing into Hunt's guard. After escape attempts from Hunt, Kramer was able to eventually get his back. Kramer landed some decent shots, set up a RNC, and got himself back into the win column. Best Moment: Kramer is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hunt with him. Hunt is trying to defend but Kramer has an arm under the chin now! Hunt grimaces and is forced to tap out!   Leonel Sherman Def. Reece Campos via Unanimous Decision (30:27) - Lightweight Bout Both fighters here return from HFA 1. Sherman full of confidence, enjoying his music entering the cage. He started this fight slamming Campos to the mat and the first round was spent on the ground for the majority. At the end of the round Sherman had a tight arm triangle that nearly gave us a buzzer beater finish, but Campos did well to escape. 3 takedowns from Sherman in the second round, and he was more effective on the ground as well. After a comfortable third round from Sherman too, all judges gave him the 30-27 unanimous decision victory. He moves on to 5-1 now awaiting his next fight. Campos is surely disappointed from this loss, and can look forward to getting back into the cage on June 22nd against Paul "Fun Time" Sanchez. Plenty of motivation for both men heading into that one. Best Moment: Sherman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle. Ooooh, that looks tight Campos is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Campos and Sherman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.   Cody Shelton Def. Filemon Garcia via TKO (Strikes) RD 1 1:16 - Lightweight Bout This fight was the definition of one sided. Shelton went into this fight and wasted no time to clinch up and put Garcia away from there. Garcia was not able to do a single thing except pray and also fail to pull guard. Shelton poured on strikes, landing to both the head and the body to wear him down, and then giving him an uppercut that subsequently got the ref to call it a night for Garcia. Shelton made his mark in his first fight, we will have to see what becomes of him in his future in the lightweight division. Best Moment: Shelton creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Garcia's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Garcia drops to his knees and Shelton pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!   Solly North Def. Bye Ng via Submission (Kimura) RD 1 2:07 - Middleweight Bout [SUB OF THE NIGHT AWARD] Both young men being just 18 years of age, Australian debutant, Solly North took on 2-0 Mauritian, Bye Ng. The fight was looking unpredictable as a lot of swings and a lot of misses came from both sides for the first minute of the fight, until Solly North was able to connect with a dramatic spinning backfist set up by a feint to the body. Shortly after, North managed to drop Ng and cut him open. He followed him to the ground and managed to lock in a painful kimura to get the win. Bye Ng was notably not happy with himself for not defending better, and you can say that he will use this as a learning experience and also as fuel for his next fight at HFA 5 vs Lonnie Fisher. North showed off some good skills and earned himself a Sub of the Night Bonus! Best Moment: North feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ngs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!   Mario Guerrero Def. Sorin Danil via TKO (Strikes) RD 1 4:17 - Lightweight Bout Opening up HFA 2, Mario Guerrero was coming off of a debut win and was surging with confidence. He opened the fight aggressively and then followed it up making Danil pay with several counter punches. Sorin Danil was making his debut and struggled in this fight, not seeming to have a real gameplan. Inevitably, Guerrero gave Danil a barbaric end to his debut. A very solid win for him. Best Moment: Guerrero feints with a jab and clips Danil right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Danil is sent crashing into the canvas and Guerrero leaps in for the kill! Danil tries to get to his feet but Guerrero is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Danil is in need of a savior and steps in!
