    • ROUND 1 RESULTS And so the slaughter is underway! The event didn’t waste any time with the upsets when unfancied Freaky Fernando made short work of favourite Frankmaster Phlex who’s granite chin did him no favours at all when Fernando went full sub whore from his back. There’s still a long, long way to go but that loss is surely going to sting Gaetano Villacci performed well against toff ruffian Chadwick Raffelburg getting the TKO in a little over a minute as did Minor Cuevas who defeated the big hearted Seth Christian in just under double the time. Things were a lot more competitive between Juan Pablo Estrella and Jedrek Piotrowicz who paid homage to the Don Frye/Yoshihiro Takayama epic from yesteryear. It was a close decision but in the end it was Piotrowicz that narrowly got the nod from the judges. Things went straight back to slaughter in the next match up with the inexperienced Jasur Ordilovokov making hamburger out of Booby Soul in around forty seconds. One takeaway for Soul is that was said to have some heavy hands that he might take advantage of going forward. Though relatively quick, the match up between Tyler Durden and Ben Barnes certainly entertained the fans and ended in spectacular fashion when Durden KO’d Barnes just under the three minute mark. Precision and power beat volume this time around between these two granite chinned warriors. Tournament favourite Terry Farley seemed to live up to expectations as he beat and bloodied BJJ brown belt Luis Caixinha in lightening quick fashion. Twelve seconds is all it took to leave Caixinha second guessing his arts proficiency but he’ll have no time to wallow as he prepares to for the next round. Poor Asian Guy was forced into the cage and told the only way to get his passport back was to win which is exactly what he did. Clearly wanting to get back to his family in his Asian homeland, Guy managed to outmanoeuvre opponent Big Boss (great Bruce Lee movie by the way) in all areas before picking up the submission win in round two. Keep an eye on Asian Guy who fights for his very freedom from slave master Wilhelm Arsewürst. Clearly chasing the prize money for quickest finish, Tijuana’s Dario Juan Pablo set the record at a blistering eight seconds when he tapped out opponent Oscar Bukele with a guillotine submission. Pablo’s estimation definitely went up a spot or two after this showing bolstered by the rumours of an unflappable chin. Rounding out the evening with some tomato soup the hot potato surprise prize was also revealed to be the Summer Slaughter title which was on the line. On this occasion it was the power of love as Sancho Bandito hugged his way to a unanimous decision victory over Jaiden Montgomery. Bandito will now attempt to carry the title all the way through the tournament though there is more chance of the plumber finishing the bathroom then that happening.
    • Round 1 wrapped up and congrats to the winners ! We move on. Here is the updated bracket.     Semi-Finals held on June 30th. Winners will advance to fight for the TITLE and more, but remember the losers will also fight for the 3rd Place Prize.
