    • BE 9: Smithers vs Chunks 2 Main Card Preview   Kumite Kyle here! Back again with another explosive card from Bloodsport Elite! 2 Title fights, 2 title elimination fights, and an explosive Lightweight battle; all on the Main Card!! All of this is coming to you beautiful and bloodthirsty people live from Hayashi's Lounge in Sydney, Australia on May 23rd!   The Heavyweight champ makes his FOURTH defense of the Heavyweight title against a familiar foe in Bobby Chunks, who is seeking redemption for their prior bout, and to put an end to the Smithers reign. The Co-Main event, an inaugural Welterweight title bout between Two-Weight Belliclose champ Tim Horton, and always prominent welterweight Viktor Kruglov! Lets dive into this explosive Main Card!     Main Card Bout 1: Heavyweight Title Eliminator Jacques Pierre (10-5 MMA, 3-1 BE) vs. Moses Okafor (11-7 MMA, 1-0 BE) First up on the main card is a Heavyweight clash and title eliminator between world class Kickboxer Jacques Pierre, and Elite class MMA Boxer Moses Okafor. On 4 days notice, and with high stakes, these guys step up like warriors and battle for the chance to challenge the winner of our Main Event!   First, in the blue corner, is the BE newcomer in Moses Okafor. Moses recently signed with Bloodsport way back in March; and immediately made waves by calling out camp rival Scott Dolton in a charged Buzz post; catching the attention of the Bloodsport staff. He was awarded his wish and got booked against Dolton at BE 8 in what was slated to be an absolutely explosive fight, and for the time it lasted; it certainly was. Right from the bat, Dolton came charging in with takedowns, securing a couple; but Moses showed his grappling prowess as he completely dominated positions and got himself back up to his feet in no time. The stand-up was a different story, showing complete accuracy that led to the eventual result; Moses only missed an estimate 8 strikes when including his missed combos, completely piecing up Dolton on the feet to earn an incredibly impressive TKO victory over an always game opponent, and to make a statement right away in the Heavyweight division. Across from him however is an incredibly talented striker in his own right, so his pinpoint accurate boxing will be put to the test; if he preforms the way he did against Dolton, it should be an easy night.   However, in the red corner, is the world class Kickboxer and BE Heavyweight top contender in Jacques Pierre. Jacques was one of the original Heavyweight signings that graced Bloodsports barren roster at the time, making his debut at BE 2 against Fedor Mazepin and winning with an impressive 5 second KO. He went on to drop his next fight at BE 4 via submission, but decided he needed to bounce back against one of the hardest opponents in the Heavyweight division with Keith Bronson at BE 6, shocking the masses by starching the former title challenger via a crisp combo KO with only a little over 2 minutes in the first round. His most recent fight he was tasked with welcoming world class striker and Heavyweight legend Hassan Fezzik to Bloodsport at BE 8, surviving an onslaught of strikes early in the first round; only to open up a deep cut with a few perfectly placed shots of his own which forced the referee to stop the fight due to the severity of the cut. He looks to continue his streak and earn himself a shot at the title, but first he wants to shut up the mouthy but talented Okafor.   This one is gonna be a battle! Don't blink folks! We have two world class strikers going to war in the heaviest division, someone is going night night!     Main Card Bout 2: Lightweight Title Eliminator Ziggy Ozbourne (15-6-2 MMA, 3-0 BE) vs. Jello Belly (13-11-2 MMA, BE 0-0) Next up on the main card is a Lightweight Title Eliminator for the vacant belt! Whoever wins this goes on to fight the eccentric Diego Lacasa for the Vacant Belt at BE 10! Classic striker versus grappler! A match up as old as time!   First up, in the blue corner, is a world class grappler in Jello Belly. The TWGC 34 finalist is coming into this bout with a bit of a skid to break, coming from Dynasty Contenders, he left the now-defunct organization riding a 4 fight losing streak; and is now looking to break it and make a statement in a small and fledgling division. With a win over Ozbourne, it surely sky rockets Belly into the title picture against Lacasa; and he hopes to do that by exploiting the strikers purple belt in BJJ. The black belt hopes to smother and submit Ozbourne, and with ease as the longer this fight goes on, the more likely it is for a KO to occur. Belly isn't afraid of a purple belt though.   Next up, in the red corner, is the BE Lightweight and Welterweight star, and world class striker in Ziggy Ozbourne. Ozbourne has been with the company since just a little after it's inception, making his debut at BE 3 against Kickboxer Lorenzo Smashotti at Lightweight, KO'ing the world class kickboxer in 22 seconds. He decided after that he wanted to move up to Welterweight, as the division was growing larger than Lightweight at the time, debuting in the BE Welterweight division at BE 4 against Mark Benke in an absolutely memorable fight where he scored a 2nd round TKO over Benke. Most recently he beat the brakes off the current Welterweight title challenger Viktor Kruglov at BE 6, scoring a first round TKO stoppage. Due to the signing of Lacasa, he decided to move back down to Lightweight for the potential challenge, but was offered Belly first. He has a formidable test in-front of him with Belly, and the black belt has a high chance to upset Ozbournes plans; however Ozbourne hopes his sensational wrestling is enough to keep the black belt at bay.   This one is gonna be a slapper, folks. Both guys absolutely elite level at their disciplines, and with high stakes; we're gonna see a potential fight of the night folks... or a KO/Submission of the night. We'll see!       Main Card Bout 3:  Lightweight Contender Bout Matthew Bandini (3-2 MMA, 2-0 BE) vs. Moe Lester (18-12-1 MMA, BE 0-0) Next up on the Main Card, and squeaking ever closer to our main events; is another Lightweight bout. This time a top contenders fight, winner faces loser of Ozbourne vs Belly. Another classic Striker vs Grappler match up! Lets dig in!   First up, in the blue corner, is a heavy handed world class Mixed Martial Artist in Moe Lester. Moe is a veteran of the game, his MMA career dating back to 2019 and in the LONG defunct UnderGround FC promotion. Safe to say Lester has had a storied career at Lightweight and is looking to make one last push toward the belt before he inevitably retires. Boasting a world class boxing game, and absolutely sensational kickboxing and wrestling; the BJJ brown belt is a complete package for an MMA practitioner, which makes him a problem for many people despite the 18-12-1 record. Lester is looking to use his heavy hands and experience to his advantage against a MUCH younger but more inexperienced opponent in Bandini to rocket himself closer to a potential shot at the Lightweight title.   Next up, in the blue corner, is the world class grappler with youth on his side in Matthew Bandini. The Stepping Stone Grappling star decided to make a dip into MMA, starting his career with MMA Helsinki and unfortunately falling to a 1-2 record with his time in the promotion. That didn't deter him from MMA however as he signed a contract with Bloodsport and made his debut at BE 5 against world class kickboxer Lorenzo Smashotti, besting him in under 10 minutes via Rear Naked Choke after a hard fought battle. After this impressive debut, Bandini shocked the masses with a surprise lightning fast submission against former GDL and SPPS champion A.Mere Con at BE 7, putting the division on blast and showing the masses that he belongs in MMA and is here to stay. He hopes to use his youth and grappling prowess to secure himself a top contender's shot, and show everyone that he can potentially become a champion! But first the veteran Moe Lester stands in his way.   Just like last bout, this one is slated to be an absolute slobber-knocker and a technical wet dream, this could end in a flash, or we could have a hard fought 30 minute war! This is what Bloodsport is about!     Co-Main Event Vacant Welterweight Title Bout Viktor Kruglov (14-7 MMA, 2-1 BE) vs. Tim Horton (19-4 MMA, 0-0 BE) Next up is our Co-Main Event of the evening! A vacant Welterweight Title clash between former HFC title challenger and Bloodsport Welterweight star Viktor Kruglov, and the Belliclose MMA double-champ Tim Horton! Kumite Kyle is a tad too excited for this one!   First up, in the blue corner, is the double-champ, mister double-double himself! Tim Horton! Tim decided to graciously sign with Bloodsport after seeking new management with Django Watts and Dynasty Contenders unfortunately closing up shop. However, coming into Bloodsport, Tim carries an impressive 3 fight win-streak from Dynasty Contenders that surely would have saw him earn a title shot if it had not gone defunct; so we awarded him one anyway! However we  didn't give him an easy task as we wanted to test his skill against the ever game Kruglov. Tim has experience on his side, but only slightly, and he hopes that's enough to make the difference against a Mixed Martial Artist with an incredibly complete arsenal.   Next up, in the red corner, is the always game Viktor Kruglov. He boasts a 2-1 record in the Bloodsport circle and made his debut at BE 5 with a hard fought battle against Jim Rhat that saw him find the judges favour in the end, however in his next fight he would be unlucky enough to cross Ziggy Ozbourne in one of his two Welterweight bouts at BE 6, succumbing to punches from the high class striker a little over 3 minutes into the first round. He bounced back at BE 7, however, with an absolute war against Mark Benke that saw him earn the judges favour once again, and he looks to repeat the result and earn the coveted Bloodsport championship title in the process.   Don't miss this one folks! High stakes on the line with the belt! A double champ star and an absolutely game MMA fighter going toe to toe for the coveted belt! The excitement is over the top for this one!!     Main Event: Heavyweight Title Bout Carlton Smithers (18-10 MMA, 5-1 BE) vs. Bobby Chunks (19-9 MMA, 3-1 BE) Finally, our Main Event of the evening between Bloodsport's biggest star and Heavyweight champion, and one of  Buzz's oldest mouth pieces. Two veterans going toe to toe in a rematch, this time with heavy stakes!   First up, in our blue corner, the challenger and world class grappler Bobby Chunks! Bobby is a veteran of the game, his career dating all the way back to Saudi Arabia Fight Organization or SAFO for short. Bobby has fought any one and everyone, challenging for the title in orgs like SFL and Hardcore FC. Bobby made his BE debut at BE 2 against Dwalin Giantslayer, dominating for a unanimous decision win. His next fight is where these two warriors first faced off, Bobby squaring off against Carlton at BE 3. Bobby was aggressive with takedowns, predictably so as well since Carlton landed two good shots and KO'd Bobby in an embarrassing 19 seconds. Bobby went on to earn submission victories over Tau Masunwendinghamar at BE 5 and Mawashi Geri at BE 7, earning redemption at the current champion. Bobby says he aims to stand for a while with Carlton, as engaging in grappling right away proved to be a fatal flaw that led to his KO loss, and only blemish on his BE record to date. He looks to correct that blemish, but against an formidable opponent.   Next up, in the red corner, the Heavyweight champion of the world and Bloodsport superstar Carlton Smithers! Carlton made his Bloodsport debut at the very beginning of our companies inception at BE 1 and against Scott Dolton, dispatching the world class grappler via TKO in 32 seconds flat. His next fight, and his only loss in Bloodsport, was against Keith Bronson in a title eliminator at BE 2, which saw him on the receiving end of a TKO loss. He bounced back against his current foe with a 19 second KO over Bobby. This earned himself a shot at the first ever champ Grant Alyoshin, beating him the same way Grant won the title; via a vicious knee KO. This win kickstarted a dominant title reign that has seen him hold wins over Bronson at BE 5, Buzz superstar Loke Axelsen at BE 6, and most recently Peter Kowalski at BE 7; solidifying him as a longtime champion. That is, unless Bobby Chunks has anything to say about it that this time around.   This is a massive fight, made bigger by the title on the line. A rematch with some heat, and some redemption on the line! This is gonna be a fight to remember for ages! You CAN'T miss this one!     That's it for me, Kumite Kyle; and Bloodsport. BE 9 has some explosive fights that you can't miss! I'll see  ALL you beautiful bloodthirsty degens at Hayashi's Lounge in Sydney, Australia on May 23rd! Until next time!
