Zelecki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Gomes is looking to stand up but Zelecki isn't so interested in that idea.
Zelecki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zelecki is controlling him.

Zelecki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gomes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gomes shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zelecki content just to control the position here.
Zelecki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Zelecki has hold of Gomes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gomes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
