Nakamura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Leiva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nakamura's waist but Nakamura gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leiva off to one side.
Rinya Nakamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Leiva.
Leiva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakamura swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nakamura throws a right and a left that Leiva avoids nicely.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
