and Spence counters with a series of strikes. Acosta will be more careful next time no doubt.
Spence drops his hands momentarily and Acosta takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Acosta lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Spence up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Acosta from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Spence's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nykolai Kersikov.
