Sherry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sherry has a takedown stuffed.
An attempted straight right counter from Case misses the target.
Sherry dives in and grabs Case's left leg, looking for a takedown. Case pushes down on Sherry's head and hops out.
Justin Thai Case has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Sherry.
Sherry shoots for a takedown but Case saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A cross from Case lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Case throws a series of punches but Sherry moves out of range.
Case uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nice uppercut lands for Case. That snapped Sherry's head back.
A shot to the body from Sherry misses
and Case counters with a left and a right that stings Sherry.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sherry gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Case.#T1#
Case lands with a good body shot.
Sherry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Case dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sherry. That did some damage!
Sherry drops his hands momentarily and Case takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #ROC#Sherry is rocked!
Case is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sherry flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sherry is out cold! Case holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
